Kayla said in another interview that she hydrated back up to 160lbs. I’m not sure what Holly re-hydrated to but I’d be shocked if it was more than 150.

@@reddevil6585 I personally don’t believe Kayla does or has ever done PEDs. She’s been grappling in Judo since she was a child and won two Olympic gold medals while under the strictest drug testing in the World. Her natural weight is about 160, when she fought in PFL she fought at 155, so she didn’t really have to cut weight. She cut down to 145 for her one fight in Invicta, but this was the most she’s ever done. Nutritionist and the UFC PI are crazy mad scientists and she’s an hard worker, I think she’s just a beast. To give you another example, Aljo said he only had to cut 15 pounds on fight week this week while fighting at 145lbs as opposed to the 25lbs he normally had to cut to make 135lbs, so he’s basically in the same boat.

She may have hydrated and made weight but longevity wise her body and brain are screwed and that breaks my heart. Wish they would fix the cutting issue with regulated weight classes and same night weighings
Kayla need to know that any elite fighter like Holly Holm with half decent wrestling will always reverse that side Judo throw. That doesn't work in MMA

If the cut was this excruciating, the thought of cutting the extra lb for a title fight must haunt her, lol. Had Amanda not retired, her life would be made exponentially easier not having to shed the additional 10 lbs.
