Honestly, running a half in 67 mins is pretty insane at an airport lol. Quality stuff, lads.
Not quite that insane when you run most of the race distance in the tunnel between the terminal buildings. It's an empty straight tunnel that no one uses.

This would be such an interesting sport to watch on Eurosport, ESPN etc., because every airport is built differently. In Europe, they’re built for speed, while the Americas like endurance-based departure lounges, and in the Far East, the travelators factor in the route. Such a fine line between winning and losing, wherever you go.
I agree. I’d love to see a half inside IAH or DFW. They are large enough where you likely only need a few laps, instead of 10

They actually do a legit marathon on the runway at Heathrow for charity, but it’s only open to staff. It’s in the middle of the night when there are no planes and you have to be quick enough to finish before the first flight off the day so they can clear the runway!

Nobody would give a shit in the US in most places either. This would just be irritating if you're navigating a crowded airport and some wankers come sprinting by you. Also where I live no one gives a shit about a half, everyone and their mother has done at least a half at some point.
I am genuinely astounded that none of them got stopped. Maybe because thats cause I am an American but I’ve seen people stopped for just running to their gate for “suspicious activity.”

I am also surprised that Security did not stop this silliness. Even if not seen as a terrorist threat, it's a safety hazard for elderly people walking with canes or walkers.
