In my opinion, The hack flip is the perfect flip for getting over the fear of going backwards. I use it in a ton of my backflip tutorials and that is why I finally dedicated an entire video to learning this incredible move. One of the best flips to learn for beginners not looking for good form but looking for quick results.

I was really motivated a couple years ago and I could do a cartwheel roundoff front handspring back handspring that looked like a hack one and a b kick Now I wanna learn to just comment to a hack flip and b twist I spin to my left but I always want to my right to do a macacoo but when I commented to a back handspring I was leaning left

    • You can turn a Macaco into backhandspring first or backflip first I mean it does not matter it depends on what you feel comfortable doing and normally Backhandpsring are more difficult than a backflip and scarier! But some people find backhandsprings easier than a backflip because you can use your hands to catch yourself, so you don't be scared and if you want backhandsprings to be less scary you need to use your whole entire body as one motion to takeoff into the air and flip over and catch with your hands and make the landing safer. If you want to learn a backhandspring before the backflip, then you should learn how to hold a handstand and learn a how to do a back bridge for good strength and flexibility to do the backhandspring and maybe once you learn a backhandspring you will feel comfortable trying a backflip hopefully! If you want to learn a backflip using the Macaco then just lean more backwards and use less and less of the hand until you can do a backflip with no hands and practice on a mattress, then you can do it on the ground. You can either the backflip or backhandspring it just depends on what you feel comfortable doing and what feels natural to you and your strength and flexibility!

  • you know guys i am so close to doing the hackflip but I kinda need help because I have to land on my hands and feet or I just go sideways which looks like a disabled sideflip.I tried to focus.
