Interesting to see the haters have shut up. Keep it firing, Emma. ❤
Wow she’s playing much, much better now. Good for her.
Very solid performance from Emma no one needed a positive week more than her atm. Hope linette recovers she played a nice couple weeks of tennis
did you not notice that her opponent could barely walk, never mind run properly? at least Linette didn't quit the court tho - right? kzhead.info/sun/f5SMfqaknmp6d40/bejne.html
It’s like a weight has been lifted for Emma, great to see her playing well and with sense of free-ness again. I can see her climbing the rankings more gradually now, back to the top 10, she’s certainly capable. Time will tell
🤣Emma fans are blind and naive
It's a much better way to progress up the rankings by playing the WTA 250 tournaments especially as her rankng is in the 70's now. Other players ranked the same do the same thing. Thing is as well, you don't lose as many points as well if you fail to defend the titles, Emma has got 90 points added for getting to the semi finals in this tournament. If she keeps getting to semis then her ranking will progress nicely. Still a long way to go but I can see a difference already with her new coach. .
@@andyford6650 Linette injured her groin midway through the 2nd set. ER fans are a bunch of Down Syndrome patients who celebrated early Christmas. They don’t realize that ER only dominated over handicapped & wheelchair players. 😂
i think she gets affected by many of her jealous bashers. lol.
@@andyford6650 I'm one of Emma fans, but I'm realistic.
Finalmente un grande match, dopo diverso tempo, della bellissima Emma!
Marvellous game and very good commentator
3 in a row Wins. Now. Keep going em ..💃💥🎾👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏her coach is doing great job 😊👍👌🎾👏🤠😎😊
good decision Emma to play more on lower rank tournament, less pressure and build the confidence again to win the big ones! 💪
She's playing in Ostrava nest - WTA 500 but with surprising strong lineup - Świątek, Azarenka, Pliskova, Sabalenka, just to name a few.
Tursunov and Emma connect perfectly, keep it up.
Emma is such a lovely girl, wish she will get a trophy for her own confidence. Congratulations Emma.
This is beautiful play of Emma. I saw so much confidence coming back to her.

Joe Hackman, Great to see Emma gaining confidence, I would sill like to see a little more subtlety in her game, at the moment it’s all non stop power hitting.
Emma has regained the confidence she had in last years US Open. If she can remain the grit she’ll undoubtedly be reaching top 10 with this hitting!
Yes - falling to number 80 in rankings and making it to a quarterfinal in a tournament where many of,the top players skipped - definitely shows she’s got her confidence back. Yikes.
@@tennissir1986 if you’re not able to see her confidence in the way she plays I doubt if you understand anything of tennis at all.
@@marien20 It’s results that counts not a fans perception. As many sports journalists have pointed out - she has major flaws in her game - it’s not a confidence issue. Someday you will understand tennis.
@@tennissir1986 Hahaha...before today's win,she was already up to 66,after today's win she should be back in the top 60,if she does go on to win this tournament, then she should be back in the top 50,not bad going in the space of 3 weeks after her ranking drop,at this rate,Emma should be back in the top 30 by the year's end. Btw,she made it to the semifinals not quarterfinals you moron.🤣
@@eyeofthetiger6002 Yikes - it’s only 1 tournament - there are 14 tournaments or more a year - check back after 5 tournaments. Unlike all of the top players she even after being a pro for a few years is unable to hit the ball on the rise and seperately she is unable to hit the ball with as much velocity as the others - two major problems in todays woman’s game.
Love the commentary: "Waducanu - quacking backhound" :-)
Impressive power play from Emma. Hard court excellence at its best...🙌🙌💪🎾🐬
Emma is playing every point like a new match. Focused in the moment of each point , I am happy with this rediscovered self. I wish her continuous improvement

Coach Tursunov delivering the goods as per usual- 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Tursunov GOAT coach. If Emma can't stick with him, nobody can help her other than herself. Wish her the best with this partnership.
They actually sat down and discussed her coaching rotation (he told the story in an interview, you can probably find it online somewhere) and he told her it isn’t good to have that sort of reputation amongst coaches because coaches also want stability, she said it was because she didn’t have a genuine connection with the previous coaches and that’s why she chose to move on, and he said that he respected that decision and that’s why he wanted to work with her. I think it’s actually impressive that instead of conforming to what everybody else thinks she should do, and knowing the criticism she’d inevitably receive, she was still confident enough to choose what’s best for her. 🙌🏻
Lol you could say that about all her coaches. It comes down to Emma at the end of the day she’s had no shortage of elite coaching
@@crazycatpetera1404 seems like tursnov went bhallz deep to get dat connection 😉
@@harryp3804 Your Mum should’ve had you tested.. he’s in his 40’s and she’s a teenage girl... you need to get some help 😂
@@congoline1 Before Tursanov I think she’s only had 2 more known coaches in Torben Beltz and Nigel Sears. That’s not that many.
Looking much better now. Everyone's been saying her best game was aggressive hard-hitting so why she went away from that I don't know. Confidence I suppose. I just hope she sticks with this coach through ups and downs as continuity is so important for someone of her age.
"new coach" is now gone! "New new coach" needed.
@@huzcer Oh well! It looks he left her this time though. Her mind must be scrambled.

It’s great to see Raducanu with more confidence and more powerful groundstrokes! She and the new coach have been working hard and it really shows in her game

Emma's forehand is looking a lot like how Dmitry used his weapons! Good to see such positive development!!
I’m seeing positive progress for Emma, her movement is getting even better and she’s being more aggressive. Her forehand and her serve could both potentially be big weapons in a few years time, when she’s stronger and more experienced - she’s showing glimpses of the potential already. Her backhand is rock solid but she can hit through it when she’s confident also. Great win 👏
did you not notice that her opponent could barely walk, never mind run properly? at least Linette didn't quit the court tho - right? kzhead.info/sun/f5SMfqaknmp6d40/bejne.html
@@huzcer stop making excuses 😂 I watched the match, her movement was fine for the majority of the match. True, but Linette’s 30ish and probably just wants to play.
@@crazycatpetera1404 evening standard article -> " Linette looked hampered by an injury in the second set which saw her struggling to walk as the match dragged on." Anyways, Raducanu is out the WTA season off and YET ANOTHER coach is gone. Plus ca change! i suppose that it doesn't take a maths genius to calculate that the 10% coach take of prize money is not going to amount to much in the case of this player in the future.
@@huzcer So you’re quoting a Newspaper for facts? 😂 Yeah I don’t think moving on from Tursunov is a good move. Still not sure what that has to do with this video 🤔 or do you hate Raducanu that much you have to jump on every single news article regarding her?
@@crazycatpetera1404 it's called subjective observation and well it's a case of an actual journalist for a publication running since 1859 vs some youtube punter called "Crazycat Petera" who likes their own posts - the odds of higher veracity are so clear that even a small child could work it out! Linette was as agile as a cat with two broken hind legs - maybe that's a comparison you could fathom lol!
Come on Emma!! Great to see you back on form!!
Really amazing, Emma! Getting consistent with Power X Speed!
Wow, she looks much, much better now. Hopefully this persists. This looks like a match where Raducanu had control, not a match where she somehow squeezed through. And I'm saying that as a Linette fan

Tursunov always able to make a girl turn into relentless hitter
Emma's finally starting to make some angles with her shots, she is stsill lucky to have that power down the line forehand and good first serve to get her out of trouble, jshe's getting there. The coach seems to making an impact.
What you mean lucky to have those assets? She’s been good in long rallies as well if that’s what you’re insinuating.
Without the pressure she is a brilliant player. Just build on that confidence and consistency girl and you will be back up in the top 10. X
Finally Emma maintaining form for more than one match. Excellent performance.
Finally 3 win in row happy 4 her

Amazing performance Emma
Good for her... so many people being mean to her lately.
Lol not just lately. There are a lot of haters pouncing on Emma the very first chance they get. The lady didn’t do anything to them yet they throw sh1t at her. But Emma just kept marching on her journey. Win or lose, she will get better with experience - and she knows that’s the right thing to do. And I really like how Emma ignores all the hateful criticism thrown at her.
@@revoltrevolt9788 in honesty, she is not my favourite player, but I hope she has a great career. She does not deserve the hate, I agree.

Looks like Emma is back to playing fearless first-strike tennis. Great to see
I would like to congratulate Emma on the first quarterfinal-victory experience since US Open...the good thing about playing at this level is that Emma has time to think, move, enjoy, and select the shots..she now has the opportunities to play beautiful shots "and win points".... and this will bring back both her joy and confidence on a center court ..:))

This is probably the best she's played since the USO. She needs to keep her current coach coz her form is back, no more pushing. She also needs to keep training to up her stamina. Hope she wins against Ostapenko.

Emma, we're always behind you! well done
Coach Tursunov is genius.
a good solid run
I watched the whole match and this was her best performance since winning the US Open. She was hitting powerful winners from the back of the court and making very few errors. I hope she proves the haters wrong who can't wait to see her fail. I really like that she's not celebrating winning points in this game, she's just getting on with the next point which I think prevents her from going through too many emotions during a match. She still has improvements to make of course. I'd like to see her work on her overheads which are very weak at the moment. Also in this match, despite playing so well, she was breathing heavily which was a little concern, but she managed to play great nonetheless. Good luck to her against Ostapenko!
Nice one Emma. Playing well within herself and hitting the ball very cleanly off a quick thought process. Should be a good match against Ostapenko in the Semi. Getting back into the top 40 for year end would be great and give her a good starting point for next season. It has been a difficult first full season on Tour but one that she will have learned many things from.

How gratifying would it be if she wins the title! Rooting for you, Emma !!!
Radu looking very dominant. A title here could help her regain some legitimacy among her harshest critics 😶
Haters will always find a way to hate, regardless of what she does, and she shouldn’t look for validation in others anyway. But I agree winning a title here would be a very positive step for her.

Definitely some fatigue on Linette's side, but that is a good win vs. a good opponent. Emma really seems to be gaining confidence in this tourney.
Injury. Couldn't move as well as she wanted to.
Raducanu looked a bit shaky against Wickmayer in that 2nd set yesterday. So I kind of expected Emma to struggle here but holy crap. She overpowered Magda throughout the entire match. Congrats Emma!
She had a dip after she broke in the 2nd set but I wouldn’t say struggled. She was broken back and both held their serve for a few games until Emma broke on the brink to win it.
@J Gooner894 I don't think I meant to say she struggled in the 2nd. She just looked a little shaky, so I thought she would struggle against a fierce competitor in Linette, but hellll no💀

Losing the points and "starting from scratch" puts her back in that qualifier/underdog headspace. I think she prefers playing under the radar where she can just be herself. I see these next few years as an opportunity to hone her endurance and apply her ruthlessness against the variety of play styles a full schedule has to offer. There's still a lot things she can add to her already focused baseline game.
