Dr Otto is getting more desperate is due to his ginormous interests into Noone's nightmare disorder, and also he doesn't want to be ashamed by his own original professor if he fails. This is just a thought of mine..

Not to mention the fact that most people are saying that she is in the signal tower, the theme of boredom that mono must have felt. The pulsing walls, the eye like the eye on the door.

The theme of broken mirrors, also temptation and desire, the mall was trying to keep Noone trapped with things she wanted, but the things weren’t quite right, it took letting go of the pendant to escape
That sounds pretty similar to Six and her music box in the Signal Tower

Ok so not only did the beginning of the nightmare resemble the end of LN2, the whole mall she's trapped in and how it keeps offering her things and desperately trying to keep her in also reminded me a lot of the signal tower and how it tries to get into your head so that it can keep you. The Candleman also seems to be a fusion of the Thinman along with the Ferryman from the comics. Following Noone from nightmare to nightmare and always trying to take her. Not to mention his voice was described to be like static too. Also the fact that Noone also hummed Six's melody (what she hums throughout LN1 and her music box in LN2) while playing with the doll caught me so off guard, I don't know why hdksvf
The difference between the Thin Man and the Ferryman is that the later (according to the comics) usually stalks you, but offers you his hand. It's kinda your choice to follow him or not The Thin Man is more like "come here you little shi--"
I think that the thin man is more confined to the signal tower and pale city, while the ferryman/candleman seems to be mostly omnipresent and able to travel to anywhere he pleases

I don't think that's the case, I think it's just the ferryman. She referred to the ferryman as the "candle man" because she saw him with a lantern, with a candle in it. That's what I think I heard anyway, unless he actually has a candle for a head and that's what she is describing as the droopy face. Or it's the bell man. Just my theory!
Maybe the candleman is the ferryman but noone named it the candleman or maybe the dreams are one of the universes and the main games are the ‘predominant’ universe and it gets less nightmarish the less predominant it gets so the universe in the dreams isn’t predominant but is closer to being predominant and good dreams in one of the universes are maybe less predominant therefore less nightmarish universe. Also she mentioned being on television maybe that made the universes she dreamt of be some of the most predominant ones as the signal tower-in my theory being the controller of the most predominant universe-has a multiversal power which dissipates the less predominant the universe giving the reason of the effect with the predominant the universe the more distorted.
Did anyone else just think "Otto chill out shes like 8" when he started freaking out over the Ferryman speaking? I don't know why I expected him to be silent, but it's cool at the ferryman has a voice. I can't wait to see where this all ends up

@@danalynch118 Yes, Otto even says in episode 2 that the Candleman Noone is seeing was the same man that "visited [his] beloved Cece". It seems like this Candleman is super important to Otto somehow.

As someone who’s been to a lot of therapy, I can definitely say that this guy has alternate motives, he’s FAR too affectionate to Noone, and calling your client a “friend” is a BIG no no! Edit: a lot of you guys pointed out that since Noone is a child, it’s not bad to call her a friend, I didn’t consider that, thanks!

The episode confirms that the Nowhere is a physics location beyond just existing as a shared dream space. I believe that the phrase that the Ferryman (Candleman) told Noone is a ritual of sorts for eventually fully transporting you over. She disappeared physically with the space under her covers caving in a moment. I love the revelations this episode has. They are essential to the series.
What if to fully transport to nightmares reality children need to repeat candlemans ritual words

The whole series is about the loss of innocence and predatory nature of adults upon children. Very unsettling as we see the councilor stepping into the dark and taking advantage of Noone as she only grows more alone and reliant on Auto who now visits her at night and holds her captive. I wander if the child he lost was 6.
I personally don’t think he is necessarily started as an inherently a bad person, and a predator, but he seems to have gotten way too* attached to Noone emotionally, and invested in finding out about the ferryman.
@plasmatic3223 I agree, this is further supported by the fact he cared about "cici" and he sees Noone like the child he was unable to save whatever happened to them as in one previous chapter he says "I lost sight what mattered" or something meaning he was desperate and maybe still is to make Noone avoid the fate cici endured as he tried to do the same with cici (but it has shown to failed for cici) growing a bond with her although when push comes to shove he may be a little too insistent to know secrets fast as possible

I was thinking that too! It was also make sense that her name is Six, considering the counselor when we first meet him states he calls his patients by “numbers.” I was also thinking that just maybe Cece is the first girl to wear the yellow raincoat, the one from the IOS game “Very Little Nightmares.”

The whole time she was telling of her dream, I was thinking “signal tower!!” “Mono!!!”. The eye voices were talking about not wanting people to leave or be taken away, and people taking what they need and then leaving, which seems like the type of thing Mono would talk about. The pendant and stuff trying to tempt her to stay, the cinema!! Mono!!!!! Aaaa!! Headcanon that the eyes are a part of Mono; a manifestation of his pain (warped by pain Y’know)

I don't think Mono is the one trapping people. I think the Signal Tower NEEDS someone, anyone, so it's not alone. It seemed to be falling apart as soon as Mono tried to leave. Six could have been his replacement but young Mono would NEVER abandon someone. He didn't want to be alone. Monophobia anyone?? Also-- Whatever the Signal Tower is? It seems to be a conglomerate of people OR it's a singular entity that we can't fathom or see clearly. It seems to be a true eldritch horror that requires a presence to continue existing. As it's worth repeating that it was falling apart when Mono was trying to escape. So it tempts people to stay alive. Once it gets them? It poisons and warps them beyond recognition. As was seen with Mono and Six. It also sends whoever is the "Host" to gather more victims. So while the Thin Man is Mono? I think of him more like one of the infected from Last of Us. The signal tower is like the fungus, keeping Mono as a puppet. But some part of him resides. He gave specific items that would make Six stay. He knew what she wanted because he had been through several loops with her. They were friends. But the true "pure" part of himself wanted out. He wanted to stop the Signal Tower and break free. So started the time loops. The glitched kids were all different children he has tried and failed with. All ending with him abandoned for dead in the Signal Tower. I find his character the most tragic besides Runaway Kid.
This story is interesting. Gives it a bit of depth to their characters. Glad this franchise is back. Thanks to anyone who reads this.

what suprised me is the familar music and noises i was hearing throughout this episode. 1) Noone humming the ln2 leitmotif (idk if it has an actual name, but its important enough to have one) 10:32 2) they straight up put 'Teeth & leaves" from the ln2s sound track in there (the longer you hear the clearer) 11:24 3) Ambience from the thinman fight (signal interference) 18:44 & 23:55? 4) Another piece of ambience at 23:55, though this one could be from "disposable entertainment" (sorta fitting)

I think his motives are pretty clear. He wants to know what happened to his cece (most likely his sister or daughter) he kinda loses control of his emotions whenever noone talks about the ferryman because cece also saw him before (not very professional tbf) but I don't think he has any ill intentions towards her. since in Bandai Namco website in official description, it says, "The Counsellor who has dedicated his life to helping kids overcome their ailments"
he's clearly getting attached to Noone, seeing CeCe within her, and doesn't want her to meet the same fate. But at the same time I think that he is also manipulating and using Noone to find out who the Ferryman is that took his daughter away from him. The big twist is I think the Nowhere is actually in the future, and this is in the past where the sessions take place. The signal tower is breaking down time, and space with all the reality alterations it has done to the world over the years, and it's power is reaching into the minds of children, and phasing them out between past and future until they are in the Nowhere permanently.

It’s obvious he lost some female or young person from his past, but the way he’s trying to find them through Noon is so wrong and creepy. I feel like it was his daughter or sister that he lost. He acts fatherly and says things like “my perfect little girl” “this time I will protect you” therapist don’t get this close this case is personal now. Freaky.
This episode is SO DEFINITELY in line with the theory that Six isn't the only girl to come across mono in his tower bro like this is just so cool thank you Bandai Namco for bringing us this masterpiece

@@MistaManlyGuy I mean, I don't see why nowadays we need to explain everything, that there has to be something rational (here the presence of a real world) to explain supernatural events of a fantasy world. Besides, if that was really the basic idea they had when they created this world, then it was best left up to interpretation. But now it's done, I just hope they make it as little worse as possible.
As someone who has lucid dreamed for thirteen years and suffers intense sleep paralysis for eight years (and counting), hearing Noone's experience sounds very spot on and authentic. Being aware that you're in a dream is scary enough, but being aware that you're in a nightmare that you can't wake up from is so much worse. I usually wake myself up when the dream's storyline gets boring, but the nightmares hold on tight. It's true terror knowing that something isn't real(?) but being unable to escape it regardless.
I feel my nightmares force me to be scared, even if I shouldn't/wouldn't be. It exaggerates my feelings out of proportion from the situation :0 I hope you don't get the EXACT same intensity of fear knowing it's a nightmare though 😁 I don't remember if I've been quite aware of any nightmares being nightmares, but I have been aware of dreams being dreams

Maybe it's just me, but this "candle man" is starting sound like a character from the LNM's comics. He was known as the ferry man and had a similar description. Some theories suggested that he took kids to the maw, but the comics aren't canon so this description might be a new thing entirely.

No. Those comics absolutely are canon. The previous creative director for Little Nightmares at Tarsier reaffirmed their canonicity in an interview about Little Nightmares 2 when it came to bringing up all Little Nightmares media, including the spin-off, Very Little Nightmares, and the original Little Nightmares 1 tie in comics that you're referring to. At no point was it ever stated that those comics were no longer canon, so I don't know where this misconception originated from. Could it be because their run was discontinued? But there was never a reason given for their cancellation and it could be because of literally anything from possible poor sales to the merger with Embracer Group getting in the way of things. Besides, when has discontinuing a comic run equated to the comics automatically being non-canon ever in the history of comics?
In the second chapter Otto refers to him by name at around the 40 seconds mark, "my Cici's Ferryman". Noone's description of him is what made Otto go into the mutual dreaming theory
@@m.a.k.dynasty4504 I have a feeling not everything in the comics are canon, mainly because in the NW comic we see a village with children in it and the comics generally imply these children are native denizens of the world when stuff like these stories clearly show children are not native to this world. I imagine we will probably see entities like the NW later on, and some spin on the mirror man and the Ferryman but they won't be exactly like they are in the comics.
@@tevildo7718 I hope the North Wind is canon to the universe. The concept of the monster is fascinating. Also when I saw the crows or ravens in the Ln3 trailer, I thought of the North Wind. But then again, the North Wind possesses the skeletons of dead things.
I think i know what the ferry/candle mans riddle thing means. "Two flows from one, and here is whole again" what if noone splits when she goes to the Nowhere. Her body here, her mind in the nowhere. And if she goes to the faraway, her body will disappear like before (when otto watched her while she slept) and she will be stuck in the nowhere. She is whole on earth. When she sleeps she is two (one part in the nowhere, one part home). Then in the faraway she is whole. But she is somewhere else.

Every episode makes me think of any possibilities in this series. The world building is insane and the fact that the fans are making theories from the games, comics and this podcast is so exhilarating to me to see what other people think in this world. So excited for the future episodes and the third game :>

She refers to the real world as the copy. 15:14 she says in the nightmare she found a dress that she wore when she arrived in the copy, and that she doesn’t often mix real life with dreams. She is seeing the nightmare as reality where she has the dress, and the real world as “the copy” where she arrived in the dress.
So her nightmare is becoming her real world and the real world a dream world. So she is confused as to why the dress she ARRIVED in, in her dream (real world) is in reality (nightmare)
This episode just screams Mono. Also Noone was humming Six's theme. Coincidence? Or is there some connection between Noone and Six?

What’s really interesting to me is the mirror Otto hands to Noone. When Otto hugs her too tight (definitely interested to get some context on his previous ‘sweet’), the mirror falls from Noone’s hands and breaks. Then, he gather up the pieces again. And we may or may not see a broken mirror reassembled in the LN III teaser trailer. Although it’s not handheld, I’m very curious to find out what the significance of all this mirror imagery is going to lead to. Very well done so far!!
This series is cool so far. Otto is a very.....peculiar character. He has a bizzare obsession with the candle man and he just gives off creepy vibes.
Thats because Otto thinks the Candleman is key to a lot of mysteries like Sissy and perhaps reality itself. Otto ends up forgetting sometimes Noone is not some tool but her patient.
It must be a connection between the candleman and what I can only assume to be his daughter that he lost, he's hyper fixating on this 'candleman' as his daughter seemingly suffered the same fate as Noone is experiencing right now, such an exciting series!
have a gut wrenching feeling that was Mono who was trying to make Noon stay Meat-eye room, incredible loneliness, and he was in control of the environment (that whole place felt like a part of Pale City). "Signal interference" started playing near the end, and the fact that someone *let go of Noon's hand* in the beginning. Poor guy, there was so much pain in his voice j:
I was hesitant at first when I read in multiple comments that the mall was the signal tower and that Mono was the one controlling it, but you actually make very good points, and you definitely had me at the musical reference. I thought it was impossible that the mall was the signal tower, but while taking a closer look at it, it does not seem wrong to conclude that the tower ignores all laws of space and time; it absorbs citizens through the signal, it's capable to teleport Mono through TV's and once you take a look inside you see abstract and impossible stairways that take you to anything but the expected. With this in mind it was easier to visualize the signal tower morphing itself into something a bit different than a tower, and now that I think about it, the description that Noone gave the mall doesn't seem far from the tower, it's only missing the fact that it's very tall. In the time sense of the mall/tower, the theory that I had built up form the very first game until now kind of collided with it. But considering the previously drawn conclusion that the signal tower ignores time, it doesn't seem to be an issue. Let me explain: My theory is that Noone is Six. Now that seems like a wild claim, but my basis for it is a really small but rather important detail. At one point in the chapter, Noone hums that classic melody that every Little Nightmares fan has heard; those three notes that form the theme of this game... Or rather the theme of SIX. In the Little Nightmares ost the only two songs that contain that melody stand in the name of "Six's theme Part 1/2". In the second game ost, it's only heard in the main theme of the game and in SIX'S music box, in the first case, I don't think it's there just because people started associating said melody with the game as a whole hence the developers just put it there to make it recognizable, I think it aludes to the revelation half way through the game that the girl that has travelled along side us is Six, that's why Six's theme appears half way through the game's theme. In the second case, Six's theme in the music box is a source of confort for Six, detail that I'll go in depht with in a bit. Now Noone has no reason to know this theme that's supposedly inherent from the nightmarish world, she has no means to know this theme form anyone in The Nowhere, and even if she did, why would she hum the theme that she associated with her nightmares? Well, that's because she either heard it first in the normal world (most likely as a lullaby or something form her mom) or she invented it and therefore she's associated it with comfort. Now I don't like to get sources from scrapped material, but I think they're a reflection of what was in the developers mind; there's a scrapped song that was meant to appear when Monster Six did, it was the very distorted humming of Six's theme, like if Monster Six herself hummed it (which also implies that in the first game it was Six the one humming), therefore it's safe to assume that that melody it's a comfort method BY Six and ONLY known by Six. Then why would Noone know said theme even before she completely went in the Nowhere forever? Because it's HER theme (an extra point is that Six appears in every single piece of the LN series, all the way from Very Little Nightmares to the comics, so is not wild to suggest The Sounds of Nightmares share the same case). Now back with Mono, I think it's entirely possible that he encountered Noone (Six) even after he was dropped by Six and even before "Six" existed, as he is stuck in a loop in time, and to have a loop in time you, of course, have to ignore all laws of time. Now people may think I'm putting way too much emphasis in just a little leit motif, but I'd say music is art, and art has meaning, and if it doesn't, then it is anything but art. I think music can convey a much deeper meaning than any other media; it speaks when words can't. I've been amazed since the beginning at how the game uses it's music, even in the second game "Togetherness 2"'s melody has an appearance in the very last sequence of the game, when "End of the Hall" plays, showing the melody that once portrayed kindness and friendship now turned into a symbol of hate and vengefulness. I think the music of this series is carefully put in it's place, not a bit early or a bit late. That's why I think music has such a profound weight in the series, and why it should be taken seriously. I can only wish to ever be able to see the way Tobias Lilja's mind works, to see if producers ever tweaked his work in a way that was not intended and changed the story completely. If I were to have a word with him I'd ask him if Six's melody in the second game's theme was intentional, because even with all my reasoning the truth is I am not entirely sure that's the case. I know this was a long comment and the comment I'm answering to is 5 months old, but I really had to get this off my chest. Edit: grammar

For example: The runaway Kid may have got that name because, well, he's a runaway. The girl in the Yellow Raincoat got it for wearing a yellow raincoat so distinctively from the others (point which I'll go into later). Mono got his name for either his fear of loneliness (Mono means single, one) or because it's a recall to his future and all, or he's just really lonely himself. Now it's clear that nobody is really sure why Six is called "Six", all the notable references we have about that number is the next: In the door Mono tried to reach there's the number 6 carved in it (It's visible if you look really close in the third and final attempt), and that's about it. The only other possible clue is that the LN series reiterates said number multiple times, like in the total amount of chapters this podcast has, the total amount of chapters the comics have and the intended amount of isses the 2017 comics would've had, but I'm not sure as to consider this important or not. Now Otto's reaction to the raincoat doesn't mean Cici is Six, but rather the Raincoat girl. The whole series and it's events has made us associate the yellow raincoat with Six, but in The Nowhere that is not the case: Children and even nomes in The Nowhere associate the raincoat to The girl in the Yellow Raincoat, hence her name. In the Maw you can see drawings of Six all around even though she's supposedly been there for a few hours. That's because before Six were there, Raincoat Girl was, and since she managed to escape the Maw, the nomes started drawing her as a symbol of freedom, or something, also pointing that Raincoat Girl has been around before Six did. Then she deductibly travelled to The Nest, where she met her fate and left her raincoat in the ocean. Six in The Nowhere has had the raincoat only for a short amount of time (Only for half the second game and the first game) unlike The girl in the Yellow Raincoat who's has had it for presumably a long time. That's why I think Otto is referring to The girl in the Yellow Raincoat rather than Six, feeding more this theory in the process, as this would mean that Raincoat Girl would've had her raincoat ever since the beginning of her transition to The Nowhere, making more sense of why that's her "Nowhere name", therefore implying that children that pass through The Nowhere definitely, wear what they were wearing in the real world. This also fits with her "spawning" long before Six, since at this point the Raincoat Girl is in The Nowhere but Six still isn't, which ALSO fits with the time when they first met: I think is safe to assume Six "spawned" in The Nest, as she's wearing a plain white t-shirt and shorts, like she just came from a hospital, and of course Raincoat Girl with her yellow raincoat. And yeah I agree with you, God why is this game so good.
It seems like even though this "mall" tried to keep noone forever, it also sounds like it's trying to save her; giving her things that she wants so that she stays longer; but no matter how hard it tries, it always fails.

Since Mono was powerful enough to just bring the whole Tower to Him without much effort, which cements this, and what also cements it is the fact The Tower's purpose of escapism doesn't affect Him. He's left there to be alone for decades. I think Mono being the one behind this Nightmare World makes great potential for a sympathetic villain. We know The Signal Tower and Mono are directly connected, because it constructs itself as Mono gets older, odd enough it constructs as Mono gets worse mentally due to the betrayal as seen in the concept art. It's still in the game, but only seen in the last phase.
The second episode made me think that everything in the franchise might have been nightmares. After that ending, I wonder if it's just that nightmares took over reality. And the kids nightmares were a hint they didn't understand till it was too late.
Nah, I think the kids are the only ones being taken from our earth to this alternate reality called the Nowhere, where nightmares are real. They're kidnaped through their dreams, Freddy Krueger style
I mean this chapter pretty much confirms that the nowhere (the world of little nightmares) is a separate world. Noone was gone for a very short moment before returning aswell. The main thing that seem to be heavily hinted at is that the candleman (the ferryman) appears in childrens nightmares and somehow managers to bring them into the nowhere

Fingers crossed this game is good, story and everything. They already have the foundations in terms of game mechanics and aesthetic, which are already perfect judging by the trailer and promo materials. But there's still that sliver of doubt because it's not Tarsier Studios. Idk, I just don't want this franchise to end on a bad note, if they do intend to end it at LN3, after two wonderful installments... including the brilliant Runaway Kid DLC and Very Little Nightmares game.

I think the councilor has a different motive. Maybe cece was a previous paitent, or cece was his daughter, she had bad dreams and maybe dissapeared to the world of little nightmares. Maybe thats why hes growing more desprate to find out about the candleman

Man, such a fascinating method for exploring a franchise's lore, the writing is spot on so far and the voice actors are doing a fantastic job at embracing the audience to the story, not to mention the sound design! Little Nightmares has always gone above and beyond when it comes to their lore, I always thought the comics would be the last media to be released officially (absolutely gorgeous comics btw they are amazing), so this was a very pleasant surprise! In terms of theory, my personal opinion is that The Nowhere is a different reality that drags children from our reality into theirs by using the children's dreams. The reason why only the kids are getting sucked in has the possibility of how powerful the imagination in a mind of a child is compared to teens/adults, there's also a possibility that only kids who suffer from some sort of sickness/extreme fear are selected, since 1. Noone suffers from water sickness and is still suffering the consequences of it. 2. Judging from Autto's reaction to this whole situation, it is most likely that this is an extremely rare situation, with only a few ever having similar symptoms like Noone's on record, (there is a possibility that it's scraped from the record but again, 'ts just a theory- a game theory) Now for The Nowhere, in this episode, the mall sounds a lot like the signal tower when it comes to how the entire building seems to be alive, paring with the desperate voice of loneliness begging Noone to stay, there is a possibility that the building could've been Mono, merging his mind with the tower in one and using the tower's body to communicate with others, since it is cannon that Mono has never left the room in the tower. However, it can be unlikely since there was a second voice sculling the other for letting another away, not to mention the idea of Mono being able to communicate outside the tower is unrealistic since if he can then he would've been able to use it to escape, judging with just how powerful he is. So if it's not Mono, then we have another entity that resembles a building that can control one's mind! This is really fascinating to think about, especially since the Ferryman/Candel man seems to be against these beings, maybe he brings children into their reality to help rebuild the world? To cast away these mindly controlling flesh wall entities? The possibilities! (Another thing is that in ep 1 of this podcast, Noone was in a stone giant that is filled with codes and machinery, which is similar to the first environment in the LN3 trailer, this can mean we will be able to see references to the stone giant in the game, hell maybe all of the location that was mentioned in the comic/podcast! Which would be awesome!) So many questions yet still so few answers, but at least we got three more episodes to go! Can't wait for next week :DD
THEORY TIME: I that, perhaps, the "eye monster" or it's form also exists in the real world. Even the psychiatric office, there was a painting of so called "map of stars with two eyes", and also the fact that he said "It's always gazing at you", makes me believe, it's a form of a curse or conditions with certain indivuals which makes them go into a alternate world when they are sleeping, also considering, that painting has connections with measurement space and dimension stuff. It seems like whatever this eye astrocity is, it also exists in the real world, always silently watching and observing those people. This is too far-fecthed, but it also might be created by the humans in the real world, but I don't think that's the case. If the eye really does takes them to a alternate world, it would makes sense as to why the world is soo distorted, weird and filled with "nightmarish" or traumatic creatures and places for some people. If psychiarist is also the thin man, aka, mono, it makes sense why he wants to meet and find cece, aka, six and potentially find some sort of a solution or stop the continous cycles of mono becoming thin man and six becoming the lady. The only escape from this world, seems to be death, for now. But what happens to the people stuck their and growing without dying? Are they also humans or entities of that world? Their is still a lot to find.
Yes that’s what I was thinking as well. This whole game series and audio series takes place in is a nightmare world and the sessions take place in our world. It’s also worth noting that the ferry man is watching everything meaning that he could be a watcher for the Signal tower. The signal tower is the most probable cause for everything as it has a beacon at the top that’s still going. If that is the case then it possible that Mono and Six were dream sharing but in different dreams. The reason I say this is because of how we see them in the game, for example the runaway kid could very well be Mono which could mean that Mono and Six are siblings. The signal tower is also playing on their greatest fears which is being alone, which is why I think the Six that we see in Little nightmares 2 isn’t her but a recantation of her. It would also explain why she betrays him in the end, it’s the signal tower’s way of ending a nightmare horribly as well as shoving that fear down into people’s throats. The painting is also a perfect example of how the story works with time and space. The giant humans living there are made by the signal tower as way to trick children that there adults there but they are not the same as the regular humans. I really think we’re finally going to learn what is truly going on.

All 3 chapters have been amazing!! The sounds of nightmares but also the sounds of a desperate man trying to find his daughter, both are broken.... the water sickness makes me think of the Shabriri, a Demon of Blindness in Jewish mythology, but it's just a wild idea. And the candle man could be just another kid that became part of the nightmare...

in the last chapter otto talks of ‘past failures’ and his ‘very own cece’. To me that suggests that he lost his daughter perhaps in the same way i believe noone will disappear, gradually having more vanishing episodes until she does not return, because he failed to stop it once again.

😢The monster reminds me of Mono because he was alone in the tower that full of eyes and flesh! Also, tower is full of doors and stairs! Mono offers gifts to kids so they can stay with him! I love this! Amazing work! Noone is starting to become my favorite character, but Otto is becoming more suspicious. I oddly think that he's planning something without telling Noone what it is, hinting the beginning of this chapter, that Noone walked in while he was working on something and he sounded panicked. I feel sorry for the mall, it sounds like it just wanted a friend, and while it might have turned out malevolent we know the ferryman will only bring her to the Maw to be eaten if she goes with him. In a way the mall was protecting Noone.

Otto is a bit suspicious, therapists are never supposed to establish friendship's with clients nor can they touch without permission. I do not think he's necessarily a bad guy, it does seem like he wants to know what's going on with Noone yet at the same time he's so desperate to know. He also speaks of his "beloved Cici" (I have no clue how to spell it) and how she went through something similar... seems like they were close, perhaps a daughter? I think he lost her to the nightmare world/reality and now with Noone, he has desperation and hope of finding out what happened to the point that he's throwing aside morality.

Is there a relation to the ‘Telly’ and the Signal Tower? They also describe what seems to be the end monster from LN2 that controlled Mono, not to mention it was described as ‘warped with pain’ and ‘extremely lonely’, it was desperate to find company that wouldn’t leave. And the Candleman is definitely the Ferryman.
So it seems the Ferryman is the person almost every child meets when venturing into this dream world, Six, Cece, Noone. What is he suppose to represent though, why take them to the Maw, what does that represent? Also is Noone humming the LN 2 theme song in the toy shop?!😂

Have anyone ever watched the Marvel animated film called Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme of 2007? I brought this movie up because after listen to three episodes of podcast of The Sounds of Nightmares, I came up with my own theory that whatever the entity that is controlling this distorted form of Dream Dimension, it wanted to come to the waking world. And it intended to accomplish this like how Dormammu attempted to do it in the movie by influencing the children with nightmares. There is even a more recent and more similar example of this from another Marvel animated movie called Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell. And if Noone decided to confront this third nightmare by questioning this "living mall" that has it ever protected anyone who came here from those who came to take them like that "Candleman" or not, I think it might begin to doubt itself that does it worthy of companionship or not if it never tried to protect the children who came to it before from the others who coexisted with it in the outside world of this nightmarish realm.
I am now 90% sure that Noone is Six. She a female. Her silhouette in the thumbnail looks like Six in the beginning of the second game. And she hums the song the plays when Six gets hungry, not to also mention the fact that the song is LITERALLY CALLED SIX’S THEME! That’s just my opinion though.
Also, we know that Noone is named by a number, being a patient at the clinic. We just don't know the full number, since Otto never finished saying the last one...

This could be a unrelated but one of the locations in little nightmares 2 is a school full of bullies. At one point she brutally kills one of them. At the time I was thinking it was just to show that she’s twisted but maybe it’s because Noone getting revenge? I also read that the longer a kid spends in the world, the more they lose of themselves, similar to the Jester kid. If Noone really is Six then she probably slowly lost more and more of her timid self after repeatedly being caught and saved by Mono. Her getting caught by the Tall Man is what ultimately separates her from her past self and leads to her betrayal. Maybe the hunger is an attempt to regain her past self or fill the void left by the Tall Man. I’m partially working off of other theories here so a lot of this could be very wrong. Also the locations she’s describing are really similar to the ones we encounter in LN1 and 2 as well as some familiar music of the areas

Let’s take time and appreciate the voice actor’s excellent performance, especially Noone’s actor, she did such a wonderful job. The first time I listened to her voice, I thought the actor must be a girl around 6-8 years old in reality, yet when I searched the cast list, I suddenly found out that she’s actually a grown-up lady. 😂 I mean, gosh, she imitates the way a little young girl would speak so well. Excellent work; love this podcast so much!

Didn't even get to the end but I just know that this is gonna be good. Edit:Finally done...now we gotta wait for chapter 4. Also fun thing especially if you are using a phone try focusing on the hands covering Noones eyes they slightly shake (even if the video is paused) and it just feels a bit alive so that's just a little (Nightmares) thing I noticed.
Me and my friends at school found a moth and we named him Jeff, the next time we saw Jeff, he was dead so we made a little grave for him with a cross and everything. So this, 1:17 mentally hurt my soul. :,)

This just keeps getting better and better! I can really feel the tension growing between Otto and Noone, and my heart broke at the part where the voices were so lonely and crying out in pain. Honestly, I had that exact same concept in my Ln fanstory as well, and so channeling that fear, and desperation of having to have someone; just beautifully done Bandai.
