I would wish for a Herobrine update. Could be scary, haunting but epic. Working with sounds & other effects. He will follow you, and you will see him more and more. Weird things start to happen. Ending in a dark ritual, thinking this will ban him from this dimension forever. But you got fooled and bring him back to the world - permanently with all his power and a constant physical body. He will destroy the world, if you can not stop him in a final bossfight
Could you remake the trail ruins to have actual BIG cities, with actual BIG palaces, with actual GOOD loot, with the palace tip coming out, and it varies based on the biomes it's in.
