The fact that 5:38 is a penalty and 0:26 is not a penalty is just wild to me. What a f'd up league the NFL is right now.
Two different humans watching two completely different situations. Anyone expecting consistency and perfection across the board is delusional.
The difference is in the rules for a defenseless player. Any player in one of the specific defenseless positions is protected from forcible contact to the head or neck area. Defenseless players include a quarterback in the pocket, a quarterback in the process of throwing the ball, a receiver receiving the pass, a returner catching a kick, a kicker throughout the entire game, as well as a player who is wrapped up. The reasoning behind this is that those players are not able to brace for impact as well. In the first play referenced, the returner had already caught the ball, turned to go upfield, and braced for impact. A close line can be a legal tackle in many instances, including this one. The returner dropped his body and ended up catching the defender's arm higher up.
Someone who works for the NFL would definitely say this@@MarxAviano
i don't think they're arguing about a no-call, i think they're arguing that the fact a closeline is legal is ridiculous, especially when defenders barely tackling a QB is almost illegal at this point. @@billrobelen4948
Dude he like trucked the qb with his head.
Bro did they really just let that clothesline go without even talking about it? 😭
Sure did. I was confused also
Yeah they sure did
Was there a penalty called after the play?
@@timolson515 no sir
@@johnroyer6780 and they just didn’t ever talk about how it was a literal clothesline from the 70s?
no-call on the close line is insane
That’s not a flag at all
@@TedCruz-ng6tl yeah today's nfl is soft af back in my day you could pop a punt returner's head clean off and his teammates would have to gather his bits and put em in the trash and if they took too long they'd get called for a delay of game. back then punt returners were a dime a dozen. before a game a team would just head down to the local bus station and if they saw a homeless man being shipped in from another state they'd say 'hey are you a sex criminal' and you know he'd always say yes and they'd hand him a pair of cleats and a jersey and if he didn't die on the field he'd win his freedom and a fat paycheck but you know those cheapskate owners were down on the sidelines after the game, one hand to shake the returners, the other behind their backs holding a syringe full of strychnine.
@@JoabyJoJo back in your day the NFL didn't have a concussion lawsuit payment that is UNCAPPED and having to pay yearly. Lemme guess your not smart enough to see that they are required by law to address that.
Same for both the horse collars this week too.
Refs once again 🗑️
Something special between the Eagles and the refs this year

There was no penalty for grabbing the front of the jersey the NFL even spoke about it that it is not a horse collar much to eh disappointment of the guys in the booth, which is WHY they are in a booth not a ref or coach
@richd9646 he grabbed the front and back. Both should have been called.
We saw numerous soft-ass roughing the passer calls in prior weeks yet utter abuse this week.
Don't worry they made up for it with the bullshit Baron Browning penalty
the inconsistency is one of the worst parts of it
the close line with no call pissed me off
DTR hit was cleannnnn
You a g for the continuous uploads thank you, these highlights are so consistent! Some gnarly weeks we've had this season!
Thank freaking God Douglas wasn't concussed on that clothesline. It's unbelievably puzzling how that wasn't a penalty.
IKR! I agree as well. Refs on their sleeping pills this week 🗑️
Man that falcons saints game reminded me of the bounty-gate days. Shit was brutal lmao
That clothesline tackle is one of the most brutal hits ive ever seen. Dude is lucky his neck aint broken.
Unfortunately he probably has a concussion now because he missed yesterday's practice. It's also unfortunate how there are some idiots out there who are defending the refs with not calling a penalty on it because a no-windup clothesline tackle is "legal". So what? It was still an ugly blow to the head with an even harder blow on the ground. There have been countless legal tackles that were penalized and even got people fined to an extent yet there's stupid dangerous shit like that clothesline that the refs turn a blind eye to. It's insane.
Yea but that’s a hard thing to officiate just cuz a guy sticks out his arm to tackle like they’re trained to do. It’s not targeting just unlucky
@@curt4736 I wasn't expecting a targetting penalty, but that was clear-cut unnessesary roughness.
@@Scott_Dunbar_II meh it’s part of the sport. They’re making millions of dollars while we just make observations
"Oh dude, he got SMACKED!" 😭
The no calls on horse tackles this weekend was insane
To call what Allen did intentional grounding on top it was too much, life as Bills fan 😔
They are called "horse collar" tackles.bud.
@reneewilliams5777 and the illegal hit on diggs after the touchdown. Refs did not want the eagles to lose and I've only seen a few plays bruh
@@metal100k Yeah that game was obvious.
@@metal100k Morrow clearly hit diggs as Allen is running into the endzone. Diggs also just stepped into Morrow's way. Idk what to tell you man, that wasn't illegal at all What WAS illegal is Bills #97's entire night. Assaulting an Eagles fan lmaooooooo
I love that the offense can target the helmet but the defense cant lul
11:05 "Sorry I'm late, what did I mi...(gets knocked down)." LOL!
8:03 Announcer: he’s coming down right on : NFL:👀 Announcer: the back of his shoulders
the close line was insane😂
Man mark sanchez is hilarious “OH DUDE HE GOT SMACKED” 😂
The No call on Josh Allen was brutal, and then to call grounding on him even when there was someone near was insane on the refs
It's bad reffing at it's finest.
It's been all bad this year. Every game has a few no calls and a few bad calls. These videos weekly from Budleeweiser pretty much proves that. The primetime games every week are bad too. We need some better referees.
Clearly did not grab the back of the shoulder pads, which is the rule apparently no one understands
I totally agree!
Allen lost all sympathy with the flop he took to draw RTP near the end of the game
The call against the Jets for hitting the ref was bogus, he walked into the mix and the hit was not intentional
Thats irrelevant. You're not allowed to start "a mix". He got what he deserved.
the context is irrelevant, the rule is you can't make contact with a ref
Budleewiser back with the HITS!
Banger video
Thanks homie
This tackle was personal. 😂
💪🏿💪🏿
Refs were super biased against the Bills this week.
That hat throw 🔥🔥🔥
Carr taking out all of our good wrs 😔. This season has been very underwhelming for us saints fans
“Underwhelming” is an understatement bro, I have never been more disappointed in the saints than this current season smh !
@@julius.shambles7 yeah even in the 7-9 days I still enjoyed sundays when the saints play, this season I’ve only watched 3 full games cuz it’s just that boring and infuriating to watch

@@RESTINPEACE12345678 yeah idk why we still got carr out here every week. We don’t even average a td per game rn. Something’s gotta change or we will keep losing
With how terrible the refs have been I really don't feel bad for them when they get a lil roughed up.
The goff horse collar no call, had me like wtf during the game!
another reminder that nfl refs and enforcement are jokes.
Dude got hit with the jbl joint 😂😂😂😂😂 clothesline frm HELLLLLL APA STYLE
DAMN! He’s not getting up from that!!
Eagles literally being handholding by the refs all season 😅
I'll give you we have had good luck with the refs but I'm just saying that Dallas Game we had was by no means us winning by the refs.

The close line without any flag or mention from the commentator is proof of the fix in the NFL.
Eagles got NFL Refs on their payroll!

Yes you're a great team, you don't need the help from the refs but you definitely get it !
The end of the video😭😭😭 our boy Fields knows he’s got butterfingers and is the most fumble prone player in the league🥲
No, that look is him knowing he's fucked, Bears def getting rid of him in the off-season.
Jajajajaja since when a regular and normal tackle is now a BRUTAL 0:46 jajajajaja that's looks like it was practices but considered that as a brutal I don't know man, still a great video 👍🏼

Second hit was old school 👍
Will you do "Hospital Passes"
Quandre can lay the wood man
Kinda feel for Boyle. Jets O-line is thinner than paper.
That clothesline was fuckin brutal, immediate KO
Wow
Yo new vid
I have no ideia how that hir on demario douglas wasn't a penalty
no call on that horse collar on josh allen then a intentional grounding.
Jeff Simmons sack on Bryce Young was NASTY.
Week 12 of NFL players trying to learn how to tackle, still cant 😂
The officiating this year across the board has made very little sense. Not sure what the plan is to ever fix this is
Cordelle got me pumped as fuck
0:40 that swinging arm clothesline had been have resulted in a penalty and an maybe an ejection also
Surprised TJs big sack wasn’t on here
RTP on Browning was a terrible call.
4:06 what the actual shit was Browning thinking here Herbig is coming right at him with nobody around him like a bat out of hell for 2 whole seconds and he doesn't do anything
He stood there like a deer in headlights. Unbelievable.
So how many players were fined after these hits?
Brain damage? That’s hilarious!
idc who says what if the tables were turned and somone tackled jalen hurts the same way they did josh allen ,it would be a huge deal and definitely a flag
Weird how another Sean Payton Defense is dirty as shit
4:02 should have been a penalty for helm to helm contact
Can’t believe the Lions lost to the sorry Packers
Running a fake punt deep in your own territory for the second time this season was dumb.
Is it true you can grab by the collar in the pocket?
Doubt many of these guys will be sending each other Christmas cards. Lol.
@5:20; something like that makes me believe that the refs are getting paid to call things in the Eagles' favor.
Remember, it’s about “player safety”…. Which explains why Goodell insists on using part-time officials and takes a cut from every wager on FanDuel. 🤦♂️
8:00 choke slam.
ref deserves that for all these bad ahh calls
Are tackles around the neck like that not illegal? They definitely are banned in rugby but I don’t know the intricacies of American football rules
They're supposed to be illegal! We just have shitty refs that get worse every year ! They literally ruin the game
i hate the roughing the passer calls so much
7:20 should have been called for taunting
Only one that’s debatable to be a penalty was the one on Goff.
That hit on Montgomery is 100% Slater's fault..
Can’t wait to see bad calls on the Bills v Eagles game. You best bet the Eagles got away with a lot thanks to the head referee aka former lived and grew up near Philly
So I felt that in the first half, they did make some good calls in the 2nd half against the eagles. Whether or not it was intentional, the bias was palpable
@@Mrevo599 that throw down/horse collar right in front of the referee or stef Diggs getting held all over on that possible touchdown

The Eagles are 5-0 with that crew! It's total bullshit.
Washington is completely out of the playoff spot with an (4-8) record
I'm astonished that Spillane absolutely obliterating a receiver in the end zone before the ball was even thrown didn't draw a flag, but they did flag Watson for getting pissed off and yelling at him after he caught the touchdown.
Contact is permitted with receivers within the first 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. Completely legal, it’s in the rule book.

Can’t wait to see the madden stats for fields “ball handling” 0
It doesn't matter, but Montgomery didn't score on the 2-point conversion.
Maybe i dont understand targeting or pass interference or clothline... lowering head, leaving the ground in a tackle involving the lowering of the head... 🤪🤨😖
At 11:05 what hit was suppose to be the hard hit? There was 2 😂
i’ve noticed they only throw flags if someone gets hurt…
Bro WTF. Where are the like 3 or 4 bs calls that were in the Texans game?
Reddick horsecollar tackle on Allen, no penalty (Allen gets one for intentional grounding??). Bradberry IV hit to the head on Kincaid (defenseless receiver), no call. Morrow drilling Diggs in the back after the play, no penalty.
Flag football might should change to
That hit against DTR was so dirty and hard to watch
Who teaches these guys how to tackle? And did that guy really celebrate a clothesline?
The Eagles refs alone are gonna make the whole video for this week’s horrible calls 😂😂
I feel like you shouldn't be able to nearly pull someone's head off during a tackle. Sounds like something that should be a penalty lol
