I envy the fact you can reach the tops of the doors. At barely 5 feet tall it’s up and down ladders for me!😮💨
Hi Brandon - Can you do a video or overview of what we should be cleaning in our homes on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, etc? I know its different for everyone but a baseline would be so helpful coming from a professional like yourself and I respect your input.
Thanks. I am considering vacuuming the baseboards. I hate to clean.
Thank you! Once I found your channel I went looking through all your past videos looking for baseboard and trim cleaning tips!
Best. Video. Ever. My baseboards were driving me crazy.
Yes. Love to change my water often! Thank u!
I love the vacuum dusting brush attachment so easy love it ❤❤❤
The best!
@@CleanThatUp yes the best
Crap is always getting caught in the caulk above my baseboards. It drives me crazy 😤
really appreciate your professional cleaning insight always great to see efficient quick ways tackle a job
The house I moved into recently has slightly grubby baseboards (job not done yet). I can't bend down much so those are great tips! I may have to do a couple passes with the cleaner. I did the vacuuming and dusting to no avail. I actually am not impressed with Swiffer dusters. The only purpose I find them sometimes useful for is dusting knickknacks without moving everything, and electronics.
Great tips ! Have a great weekend
You're right about cleaning you have good mum to teach you how to keeping your home clean. I never use dusting dry cloth firstly using dry cloth just spreading dust around i don't like seeing dust
Thanks for the great tips!!
Thanks for the tip.
Love your channel! Here's something I'd like to see... cleaning a shower curtain liner, without having to take it down!
Just had our hardwood floors refinished and Murphy oil soap is a no-no as it breaks down the finish.
Thank you, very helpful
Thank you
The Swiffer heavy duty dusters (the yellow ones) pick up alot more dust. I use them at housecleaning jobs with dogs
Thank you so much !
Wow! Nice job! I bet your house is spotless. I'm going to try some of your ideas. Thanks! 🙋
So cool
Thanks, for giving the Tips.nice Video. Greetings from germany, Heike
Wow, thanks
Thanks for the tips 👍🏼
You bet!
Bravo Garçon !
How about just vinegar and water and no soap then you don’t have to rinse?
Great vid!
Thanks!
That was brilliant, thank you.. You guys never seem to have pipework running along the top of baseboards, its a freaking nightmare!
I have just adopted you into my family. Thank you for linking the tools! Quick question. I work in healthcare and love aromatherapy. Would adding the Dawn Calm beads to the water cleaner mix mess up anything when cleaning the walls?
Great video. Gonna show this to my 12 year old lol
Thanks very much kindly ❤️ 😊
You got it, thanks for watching!
Thx Brandon! Luv ur tips!❤
Thanks for the tips but what can you use . On laminate floors thanks
Do you have any tips for cleaning small and angled areas in a bathroom ?
The baseboard method with the dry or wet cloth on a broom or duster: could that method be used on blinds? I can’t take mine down, so bath soaking is out.
Another great video, very helpful. Thank you very much, always really enjoy watching your channel.
I'm trying to find the spring cleaning checklist plus which videos are which.
Great helpful video! Blessings be unto you! I was just thinking that you could be in a Star Wars movie as Luke Skywalker's son or grandson. Just a thought.
Thank you - we're moving soon and I've been dreading cleaning my baseboards because I'm 6 months pregnant 😂
What brand of vacuum cleaner were you using?
“Oh how preeeetee”
❤
Thank you for sharing. What type of hand vacuum are you using?
Hi there! I'm using the Hoover Emerge!
What am I doing wrong? My sliding doors are always a dirty mess! Please advise❤
Gee I never would have thought of using a duster or getting down on my hands & knees with a rag! Radical! I was so totally blown away I couldn't manage to watch the rest of the video. OK, to be fair, the rubber band around the broom was a great idea, except that it tends to just slide off when you dampen the cloth.
Thank you for your great video. I see you use the magic eraser. Is this ok to use on a shower screen or not? I hear so many differing ideas.
What is a shower screen?
@@tf4606 the glass door.
Wat about doors with grooves , it has dark hard to remove residue ??? Any comments wat to do ?
Most of this would work for crown moulding also
Definitely!
@CleanThatUp I used a magic eraser on my window sills and a year or two later the paint cracked and peeled. Was that the cleaner in the name brand sponge, or will all melamine do that to trim paint?
What is Murphy oil?
For method 2, how did you secure the microfiber towel to the swiffer pole? txs
Go back and watch again.
My door is very greasy how do I clean them
For those of us who are calendar-oriented: how often would you schedule this cleaning task? Every quarter? (Maybe any cleaning task should be based first on the level of unclean something is, but it would be good to have a general idea of how often is typical for this one.)
I came here to comment. And was gonna ask him for a cleaning schedule so that nothing becomes A.Deep cleaning issue,
I guess it's up to you, how quickly your baseboards get dirty, and how much time& enjoy you have. For jobs like this - after I've cleaned them I guess when they will need cleaning again (e.g. 3months) and schedule that. But then I tweak it - so if after 2months, they're really dirty I know I need to do it more often than I thought. Or, if after three months, they still look fine, then I'll leave it for another month or 2. I'm slowly learning how often I need to clean different things in my home! 🧹✨
What about washing walls? My apartment has this weird chalky type paint and I’m scared to change the color wiping with the wrong products…
Good question! Sounds like you might have flat paint and sometimes it’s best to just spot clean those types of walls. I actually just uploaded a full step by step video on wall washing (perfect timing! 🙂) How to Easily Wash Your Walls kzhead.info/sun/hsOeqqx8hZGCY2w/bejne.html
Thank you, but first you need to clean the most dirty areas like the edge of upper door frame with small sponge
The trick with the broom is awesome and I'm going to use it right now. Reason is below but it's a bit... Ouch. I have massive back issues and bending in some ways causes bones in my spine to rub together, specifically my neck vertebrae. It causes a massive migraine and damage. I need to do a whole move out clean in a month, so this is going to help so much!!
If at all possible, get a well known professional cleaning company in. Save your body if you can afford it. These deep cleans at the end of a lease can be a scam, I speak from a very stressful experience where I was nearly taken to the rental tribunal, but I had all my emails showing my willingness to pay and the threatening, character assassination attempts of the real estate agency, so they backed off.It was a miracle. Take care. From Australia.
@@kalayne6713 I am disabled in the United States and live in poverty. Unfortunately I tried to use a cleaning company, even with a reduced rate, I had to choose between my medication and having a clean home.
@@kalayne6713 I live in poverty. I couldn't afford both my medications insurance doesn't cover and help, so I'm still waiting for a PCA... Been waiting for a year and a half...
Hey man, love the video and appreciate your work, but if youre trying to get as many views as possible don’t reveal the trick in the thumbnail! In my head I got the answer without having to even watch the video, but I click anyways coz I wanna know the little details ❤
I like the way he does it. I trust him.
How to clean walls?
Mop in walls? 🤔
Just done mine, 15 foot.. Did it by hand eventually, washed rinsed & dried.. Just couldn't seem to get enough pressure on the wall with either the broom or Swiffer trick. Having a day off before the other one! LOL.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤❤❤❤😀
I dont rinse in a bucket, i rinse in a sink.
I heard that dish soap absolutely not useful for that type of cleaning… in fact it makes it worse… it designed to break the grease… that is it..dusting and clean water works just fine…😏 and the tip number 1… you have to do it often… 🤨
Thanks for tips
No problem!
