My bro decided to get his muffler upgraded and once we did that it sounded better but wasn't as loud as we were hoping for so he ended up taking it to a muffler shop and got the resonator and cat delete done and it ended up sounding way better.
Upgrades: Top Speed Pro-1 exhaust, resonator, and cat delete. Exhaust tip is 4.5"

  • What is the stock exhaust diameter size? My dad also has a 06 GS430 & I want to make it sound louder 😈 maybe make it 2.5" or 3" if that's not overkill, if 3" is not possible, I'll go 2.5" with a 3" tip with headers to replace the factory manifold (after the headers, it'll have the 2.5" all the way through the back but it's still gonna have a muffler but it'll be a series 40 muffler from flowmasters 😈 plus a twin supercharger kit from the Blitz 06 GS430 but maybe I should do the same set up as your friend did on his GS430

    • Nathan Lopez congrats on the purchase. The muffler stuff unless you're gong aftermarket I would go to a muffler shop and they can make an X pipe for you. Depending on what aftermarket things you're looking for, usually eBay or Amazon will have it.

      @Swami-Switches@Swami-Switches6 жыл бұрын
    • +Shaan Patel The only mod is the exhaust that he's done. It did come lowered with the wheels already. We tried to figure out what springs they are but didn't see a name anywhere on the springs. Rides really smooth though so it definitely has nice suspension. Maybe whenever he takes off the wheels next time I'll try to look again and see what brand they are.

  • Needs a true dual without crossover to sound perfect, for me at least. Lexus V8s really come to live as soon as you ditch the y- and x-pipes... Like this GS400: kzhead.info/sun/mditeKebkJanqYk/bejne.html Just gotta add two sport mufflers of your choice, one for each separate pipe, to quiet it down to your liking without losing that burbling V8 character.

    • People saying real duals dont understand the crossover actually adds low end torque. Really improves fuel mileage too because to get a car to move you must put your foot in it more without a crossover on. I couldnt believe all the low end power I lost doing that on my 69 Dodge Superbee back in the day. Huge difference!

    • @@harryballz6358 True. H-pipe is the best compromise if you want low end torque and sound. But, for me, performance isn’t important on a GS430 or GS400. That’s a slow and comfortable cruiser and, again for me, no crossover sounds best. Now on a car like an IS-F I’d only get a GReddy h-pipe exhaust. Sounds badass and gives the car a ton of useable extra low end torque. Check this out: kzhead.info/sun/f8WSYdaeomuFm2w/bejne.html

  • *Nice. But for those that think these are the best made gs's are sadly mistaken! We all know 98-05 GS ANYTHING Lexus was the best, especially the 2JZ's*
