"Change life, start fresh."
I started editing silly videos back in 2011/2012, but the sole reason I started uploading them on KZhead was to show them to two of my friends and my father. Most of the time, the stuff I did was to amuse myself or to look back on it once I've moved on -to laugh, reminisce. The time spent editing turned out to be more productive and fun than doing nothing at home, so it became a neat hobby. Eventually, my friends moved on from watching the silly videos I made. My father was very busy, so I got left with no audience. Well, I was going to move on too eventually because my dream was to be a pilot, but unfortunately for me, I could not become one due to my health condition.
Well, being depressed I stopped editing for a year. However, I could not sit around doing anything on my PC so, in 2015, I posted a video which to my surprise got a lot of engagement and so forth began my story.
I've always tried to challenge myself to be different from everyone. To be able to tell the stories I wanted to tell better than anyone. Some would say learning new tools and editing became an unhealthy obsession of mine. Much of it was filled with sleepless nights, missed days of going out or deprived of human connection. I was never an expressive person, I could rarely say the things I truly wanted to say or tell things I felt. Some years ago, I found that things I wanted to say easily bled through videos I produced and so it became my therapy. There are things I want to express, but I can never grasp the words to say them. Therefore, the only way I can do it is to find them somewhere, stitch them together and arrange them on my NLE's timeline. What you see here sometimes is what I want to say with the mouths of dozens of films. And I want them to be heard by you. You who breathed life into this channel. It's easy to admit that I would've been lost without you. Since that first-ever comment in 2015, I have read every single one and I read every single one of your comments. It does not matter to me if I have a hundred or a million views, it still gets me excited to see analytics knowing each number represents a single person that took minutes of their day to watch what I spent days on making.
Thank you.
-D.

We drunk some beer and started talking about life and I gave him a lot of advices or findings that I made - he was very thankful about that and told me that all of this is very useful to him and his life situation. - I basically talked to myself 2 years ago - If I could talk to my younger self I would have told him exactly what I told my friend yesterday

  • You always put your heart and soul into each of your videos, but it's clear that this video is different from the others, because in addition to the usual message and delivering important information to the viewer, we can also watch your story. I noticed this from the first seconds I read the video description. I'm so happy for you, David! Your story is a description of the life of any person. A person should always have something that he likes to do and feels that he lives...and creativity here is one of the best salvation. Don't spend your whole life on what you don't like and what isn't yours. You don't have to live a fake life. Find something of your own. Then you will live the real life. And My God, at 2:35, I literally got goosebumps. You not only beautifully matched the scene to the music, but also perfectly conveyed everything that was shown earlier.. It's as if this scene tells us that we are not living a full life, not a real life...but we can change it, if we give ourselves to something new. And the editing at 2:43 with people running to their dreams, people with a goal ... Wow. I'm speechless. Bravo! 👏 This will be my favorite video of yours. And btw, congrats with 400k subscribers! 🎉🎉🎉 What a number! You deserve this and much more for your hard work, brother!

They can cause you to actually feel what they are about... and with this topic, and with clear personal experiences, this one has more power than most. I honestly expect that most people have had their thoughts turned inwards with this... they might have not realised it right away. But this is the power of such things.

The subtitles hint the same. There is a brilliant video essay on it by Tomorrow's filmmakers kzhead.info/sun/dciJo92Eq56XoIU/bejne.html&ab_channel=TomorrowsFilmmakers.

  • it is safe to say there every single one of the masterful edits you made, hit me in some ways or another. I'm someone always looking for the right words to say being sometimes a bit to precise with words and what you said in the description resonated with me. One of the reasons i love movies so much is because they are vehicules of emotions and intent. That is a very singular thing in art that does not come by often for everybody. Your edits are always filled with so much emotions, so much unspoken things to express. It's beautiful. I look foward to what you will do next!

  • Since I have first watch one of your videos I fell in love with the incredible work you done and it's nothing like nobody else done. Always that I see a new video of yours waiting for me to watch I feel entusiasm and already know I will cry watching, that happens like everytime and I love it because the art you done it means a lot. So, today I saw the video and then I read the description, when I finished I was crying more. It was so beautiful know to your story and how it is envolved with so much passion and love in what you do. This emotion I think it was what I see in every video, but now I know that for your text. I really hope you see this comment and that it touch you as much your art touchs me. And never stop doing this because you make life more pretty.

  • Your love for movies, for cinema, really makes me feel a love for movies in the purest form. thank you. i had forgotten about this channel honestly, and I don't remember when I discovered it. But thank god I subscribed, because I found you again. These are the type of channels that are why I love KZhead. I get to see people's art and skill come through in their editing, their drawings, their care for the video they post. it inspires me so much and I only wish I could do it too honestly. So thank you again for reminding me of it.

  • As I read the description I feel glad that I am not alone. There are endless thoughts in the mind to which I cannot give words. I question my existence, this life, this inequality and hatred in the world, and I want to be at a place where it stops. Free, free from all the misery, not inflicted on me per se but on the world, the people, the animals, the nature. Our lives aren’t meant to be this way. We barely need a few things to survive and yet it becomes so hard for us in the real world to exist and we spend all our lives in making ends meet. No time to live, all caught up in every little thing. You cannot even run away, it’s not easy. Thank you for this video.

  • What a powerful video, this kind of video really makes you think about your life and how you should live it. but it's hard to make the changes you want when you don't have the resources and the money that will help you to go for it but for me, I always telling myself that I should keep doing the small stuff and taking the necessary steps and to have faith that one day maybe you will wake you and see that what you been dreaming about is now your reality.

I have not seen many creators be able to do that. I have been subscribed to you from almost if not since you started in KZhead. Your videos never cease to amaze me and they have also helped me through some hard times. Thank you for making them and keep up the good work!
