The way I think it’ll work is that the Duchess charges up her ammo capacity when she’s not attacking, and when she runs out while doing so, she’s gonna recharge a single knife and then use it to attack, and the deal is that her DPS goes down dramatically if she has to defend against large tanks or a big push, which makes her weaker than a cannoneer or a princess tower in terms of longevity. I imagine that she’d work for aggressive decks that can deal with troops on the opponent’s side, and she’ll just clean it all up, specifically cycle decks, but anything heavier than that is a death sentence.
So basically how Amber works in Brawl Stars.
It is just the opposite of cannoneer, better against cheaper cycle and bait decks worse against beatdown.
In addition to what you said Duchess like you said charges up her ammo capacity when she’s not attacking etc… but the thing is, is that her damage may not go down at all but rather, she can’t use her 8 daggers in a succession if she already used them up and if there is a unit that comes afterwards like Pekka to prevent her from charging and forcing her to use a single dagger at a time to “hopefully” kill the Pekka every time she gets a single dagger.
I think the Dagger Duchess' ammo works similar to Amber (from Brawl Stars). When full, she can attack very fast, but once out of ammo it takes a while to recover.

If Dagger duchess is a champion it makes sense that the charge bar would be her ability. Her normal attack is most likely just a normal throw that is a little slower than the princess tower that does slightly more DPS. If so the charge bar is meant for a glimpse of extra power here and there. (Just a theory)

I think its gonna be basically like holding down the autoaim with Amber in BS. So she has that bar charged up, and when it falls down she probably shoots at like a speed between the canonner and the princess(close to the princess tho)
It could be that she normally shoots alot slower or does less damage then that bar is like a ability where she shoots alot faster The bar just shows how long is left of the ability

With skeleton barrel it's 4 daggers (lvl 15 DD does 223 damage) to pop it then 4 skellies die to daggers, then it's 1.2 seconds each for the last 3 skellies, so skeleton barrel will be strong against it especially with spirits (which soak 2 daggers)
I think her bar makes her shoot faster and when it's over she attacks like a princess.

in her trailer we saw her pack a bag of daggers so maybe it is a ammo thing and when it runs out she needs a moment to recharge her ammo. also i think when it goes down to 0 she will need a couple of second (between3 to 5) and then it will instantly go back to full. it can leave her vanurable for a moment thats why i think she has more health than regular princess
I really like how much these tower troops change the gameplay. This ammo think looks kinda cool.
Ken showed it in his video and in his video it was a legendary.
So if she works how I think she works (with her having 8 knives and after she throws them she has a 1.2 second recharge, and after she completes the reload she gets 8 knives again) then she will throw all 8 of her knives and reload over the course of 4 seconds which means counting reloading she has a dps of 306.

The normal formula for dps in general. U got the canoneer representing to strong single hit but slow fire rate. You got the duchess representing extremely fast firerate but with very lil dmg. Then the princess being the in between.
Theoary:The yellow bar could be her after she fills up her “rage bar” but after she uses all her rage bar energy,she goes back normal does less damage and shoots slower but then after attacking for awhile her rage comes back
I think once she throws the max daggers of eight and the bar depletes, then it will take the “recharge time,” of 1.2 seconds to fill it back up. Eight is the max amount she can throw without stopping

So safe to say she has a cilp to reload, tho we don't know how it works exactly, maybe she does reload when there's no targets or she only reload when she is fully empty and that's a very big weakness if that's the case, this explains the increased HP and damage because she's inconsistent...tho i think she needs a bit of an HP nerf to be at least Equal to the princess tower
If she throws all daggers she will reload per dagger in 1.2 which mean she takes 10 sec to fill the yellow bar . But if she killed the enemy with two or four daggers she will rest and recharge her daggers once more
if she is a champion tower and that means you can''t play a champion in your deck with her it'd be an interesting design space
The description of the tower is ON THE DESCRIPTION OF TRAILER VID. I was heavily confused why no one knew what the fuck's going on, because I knew that it charges and I don't remember where I got that info from. But in the video and in most comments, everyone is theorizing what's going on while I felt like I knew some crazy hidden info or that I just made it the fuck up. It's only when someone else in the comments pointed out that how the tower works is on the description of the trailer is when I realized I'm not actually going crazy. The ammo runs out and she needs time to reload. This is confirmed.

I think its not her ''ammo bar'' its more like she gets overwhelmed and it happens when the enemy troops are close to her tower so you should always be keeping the enemies away from her tower or the yellow bar start going low and when it gets low she starts throwing knives very slowly.

Imagine a champion tower troop, like weaker than the princess tower but has a strong ability on a timer than you can use whenever, very useful for decks with few spells and to save elixir on defence

You can see the blue effect on the knifes when the bar is up, i think that it'll be a slow projectile with low damage, but i doubt they'd change the speed when the bar is down, that's my guess.
