  • Great video. Really been eyeing that new 556 VELOS. I have several cans and they're all Dead Air. Love them all, but I'm really digging the LBP design. Nobody likes the gas in their face and the ridiculous mess and extra wear on your weapon. Eliminating blow back and flash signature should be the main focus in all can companies

  • Since you guys listen to the customer, you need to make a flash heading in cap for the hybrid 46 for different calibers as well one that vents like you have on that new suppressor you were showing us because I would buy one. I’m thinking about buying that new suppressor now, but I sure would like to have some kind of endcap performance upgrades on my hybrid 46 I was thinking about buying another one of those as well because I have so many accessories for it. I only like I want to say eight of your suppressors maybe 10 I don’t know it’s a lot.

    • That's impossible! You can never have enough. If you have too many suppressors just buy more guns. A simple equation. 😬

  • 8 of my 18 cans are SiCo. Better suppression and durability than gemtech, lower pricing than dead air (unique SPEC label), but modular. After 13 years of various methods, CLR in ultrasonic is hands down best rimfire cleaner cleaner.

  • Great video! I have an Octane 8 on standby waiting for the gummint so, two questions. 1. It will be used on several 9mm and an FN57. Will I need to have a different front plate for 9mm and FN57? On hold with the 8 is the non-tilting barrel adapter and I'll get a tilting barrel adapter for the 9mm's when I pick it up. 2. Your (great) video discussed an Octane 9. What's the difference to my 8 and can I upgrade to a 9 without the gummint getting excited?? Internal parts replacement is what I'm thinking.

    • What in the world is an Octane 8? I think... I THINK.... You ordered an Octane 9?

      @ethanwright2981@ethanwright298111 ай бұрын
    • @@ethanwright2981 Oops, it is a 9. That's the benefit of it sitting on a shelf for months waiting for the gummint to actually do something, I forgot. So, back to the rest of the questions - do I need a different front plate for 9mm and the .224 FN 57?

      @VegasMikeP229@VegasMikeP22911 ай бұрын
    • @@VegasMikeP229 You don't NEED one, as the 9mm bore is bigger than the 5.7 bore. But if they offer a .224 diameter plate for the Octane, then in theory you would receive a slightly better decibel reduction.

    • @@SilencerCo You know I looked at supressors a few years ago and did not follow through, for one I feel the ATF stamp is criminal and second process was too painful. But I have to say I just visited a local shop (Cajun Gun And Gear) near my home and the SilencerCo kiosk made it so easy to apply for I had to try it That and the people at the shop were so helpful that it was much less painful (less the tax stamp) than I'd imagined. Cannot wait to recieve the supressor and also took advantage of the BOGO offer so looking forward to joining the SilencerCo family!! Keep up the good work!

    • The sooner you start the clock, the sooner you can take it home. Some dealers will allow you to use your can at their range while you’re waiting for Uncle Sam’s permission slip. After your first tax stamp approval, any subsequent stamps will process much faster because your previous approvals will already be listed on file.

  • Explain to me the cost of a suppressor….. a thousand dollars for what? A steel tube?!?! Solvent traps are the same thing just not drilled out and a 3rd the cost. Why is a drilled out solvent trap from silencerco and all other companies so expensive?

    @rkashsggeggr6285@rkashsggeggr628518 күн бұрын
    • I'll happily explain, thanks for asking! First let's talk about "solvent" traps. It's common for them to provide mediocre performance in sound reduction and are generally of poor quality and come with zero warranty or customer service. A quality suppressor is going to be made from the best materials on the best machines. It is going to go through rigorous quality control and the final product will be one that has went through hundreds if not thousands of hours of research and development. Let's break down the costs of manufacturing. The machines we use can easily cost more than some people's homes. Then there of course needs to be people who operate said machines. Maintenance, finishing (paint), EDM, quality control, R&D, receiving, shipping, marketing, accounting and we also offer the best customer service and warranty in the business. All of these departments cost money and they all require employees. Choice is a great problem to have. If someone wants to buy a cheap solvent trap then they have that option. It's cheap for a reason though which may work for some but leads to disappointment for many. Any suppressor purchased from us is not only going to be the highest quality standard in the industry it's also going to come with a lifetime warranty. Hopefully this answers your question. Just know that when you buy from us you're supporting over 200 employees, getting a top notch quality product, and have access to the best customer service and warranty that you're going to find.
