    • Jokes are made about the darkest of subjects, smoking, drinking, racism, cancer, death etc…humor is humor. It only ceases to be humor to those who get offended and take it seriously. That’s when society becomes the mess we have today where everyone’s offended and a sheep because someone told them they should be.

  • I had worked with Don back in the 70s on a TV show. When the lights went off he was the most gracious person. He was thankful that everyone he made fun of had laughed because Don thinks we should all have a good laugh.

    • I worked with him on a couple of shows in the 90’s . He remembered every crew members name through the entire multi day event. While I was leaning on the monitor console during the opener, he snuck up behind me, grabbed my hips and thrust his groin into my backside repeatedly, like a dog…. I jumped up and spun around expecting a crew member. They were all standing against the wall and had been watching Rickles sneek up on me. Everyone was bent over in laughter. Hilarious!

Back in the days, oh wait, people did get offended except they had to keep their mouths shut in order to stay in the business.
