He became stronger. He signed for Sporting and came like a man with lots of muscles (training paid off). At Man U, he was a skilful midfielder before he became a winger/striker. At Real Madrid he was still a striker/ winger until he became just a striker in the 2016/17 season. That is when he became a goal poacher and it continued at Juventus and for the rest of his career, but it doesnt mean he doesn't go back to midfield as we see at Al Nassr. I know more about ur idol than u do. That is inspiring but I don't like him coz he throws tantrums and acts like a baby. I never say he is a terrible dribbler or passer but when you compare them in those categories, Messi always comes out on top. I like Ronaldo coz of his goal scoring numbers and his passion. It helps controlling your body and jump if anything, and is mostly advantageous with agility, acceleration, change of direction other than the reach. Anyone who's been watching football since early 2000 knows what kind of dribbler he used to be. To a point that he was threatened to stop dribbling the way he used to do.
Have heard how Zidane convinced him when he became RM manager, that if he listened to him, made changes to his game like not to dribble as much, etc, cos of his knee, that CR7 could prolong his career and still maintain a VERY high standard of play and consistency with his skill set and mental attitude.
