    • I want to say also that age, even if they lived a long life, doesn't make it hurt any less. Probably the person I missed the most after her death was my grandmother. She died in 2019 and I don't think there has been a day go by since her death in January that year that I haven't missed her. I'm glad she had a long life (she lived to be 88, almost 89, she would've turned 89 by the end of February), and she died from natural causes, but I really do miss her... In all honesty, there were two reasons she and I were close: 1. I was her only grandchild (only child here, and she was on my mom's side of the family, and while my mother has two older siblings, neither one of them has been married nor had kids). 2. I felt like she was the only person who really understood me... She seemed to understand me better even more than my own parents did...

    • @@PKMNFan4664 I feel like sometimes the older they get the harder it can be to lose them. Most of the time you know that they are going to probably die soon but it still hits hard when they eventually do. It can sometimes be harder because the older they are the more you can know them, and the more they feel like they were a close friend.

  • I understand ,the asain community experience racism on a daily. Yet, why aren't the Asian community addressing their deeply ingrain hate towards the African/ Black Americans. The asian community hold a tremendous amount of disgust towards them . The Asian community should consider looking in to this as well. If they can fight this much for justice in a cause for this deeply attack towards their community by a white man's ignorance. Would this be the same as if a Hispanic or Black American person was the preposterous perpetrator in this deadly attack. ? Life is not fair but protest is temporary while racism and discrimination will always remain.

  • :'( This is really sad. But its true, a lot of asian massage parlors have sex workers. The key to protecting these women is to legalize prostitution. There's clearly a market for them so by making it legal, they can pay their share of taxes and also get protection when they are assaulted or when these boundaries are crossed. It's a stereotype for a reason but it's also a lot of people's way of life, not just asian women. The fetishizing though is definitely made worse by the media though and the lack of asian women represented in roles that are usually available for men and caucasians.
