So Bonnie is basically having an affair and Joe doesn't seem to mind? I don't know whether Joe is giving Bonnie a hall pass, they decided to have an open marriage, or Bonnie is having a secret affair and Joe found out about it but doesn't mind it. Though of course there is the fact that the guy Bonnie is getting laid with is actually a sex doll.
This is what Family Guy calls “a bit”. It’s a joke thrown out there which may or may not (more likely not) be canon. Like how sometimes you see Peter, Meg and Brian getting seemingly “killed” in random scenes, only to show up at the next scene or episode.

I mean, as I recall it's established that Joe can't have sex because of his paralysis, so if we want to look at it in the most generous way possible this is him and Bonnie's way of still letting her fulfill her physical needs.
Besides Meg, Joe has to be one of the saddest characters in the show.

You can always give it to a library. Once a week, they have a give away day where people would actually see the book. Some of them they sell.
