This episode was inspired by the Greek tale of Narcissus. It tells the tale of a boy so beautiful that all the women of the land wanted to be with him more than anything. When women confessed their love to him, he would disrespectfully decline. One day he comes across a lake and he doesn't realize that the oh-so-beautiful man in the reflection of the water is himself. As a result, he fell in love with his own reflection in the lake and was desperately trying to be with it. He soon realized that it was only his reflection and that he'll never be with that beauty in the lake. So out of pure sadness, he took his own life. At his funeral, which by the way all the ladies of the land were there, everyone was shocked to see that where his body once lay now lies a flower. Today we call it the Narcissus flower, and there has not been anyone that handsome since then.
