Get a shirt or sticker- flawedoffroad.com/
Took my daughter offroading in the Jeep YJ for the first time in awhile, she wanted to film so I turned her loose with the camera. Maybe next time Ill let her edit too! Plus we helped with a couple off road recoveries.
The location is a semi private off road area in Iowa(pretty much the only one) Called MIOBI thats open to the public for a few events a year. She also helped be a spotter, and it was a great day in the Jeep YJ!

YJ's are the bomb! I've owned two of them. Glad to see there is an Offroad park in Iowa. I just moved here from So Cal.
Its not a typical pay at the gate type offroad park, its private and open to Members of the Jeep club called Miobi. 2-3 times a year they have events open to the public (labor day, memorial day, and a toys for tots thing in october usually) Their website appears to be broken but you can get info to join the club through their facebook page
Very cool. Good spotter too"!
Great dad/daughter time. I recently bought my first Jeep and hope to wheel with my daughters soon.
Heck yeah it’s a blast. She used to love going until she was about five and then she got real scared of it for a while but now she seems to like it again
Nice job Dad! She will be driving the jeep off-road in on time!! Both my Daughters drive my buggy, and we have a blast!!
Ive offered but she hasnt been too interested yet. Soon enough!
Haha, I love it! Great day out with your daughter and she didn't do half bad recording! Tell her great job!
Ill tell her baldylocks and the 3 hairs said so 🤣
@@FlawedOffroad haha. 🤣
12:45 how-to: broken axle 101. man, you would have a blast out here in WA. totally different type of wheelin.
Pnw is on my list, browns camp looks fun as does Elbe and other places. Heck I’d have fun just exploring the easy stuff too. We just don’t have that here. No public land, no forest roads. Nada
that looks like it was a great day! Gotta love the daddy-daughter time!
For sure! she is ready to go again but sadly Im not able..
Looks like a great time. Enjoy those moments.
It was
Check out bundy Hill Jerome Michigan ORV Park
The splat your daughter did you was funny
There is a similar place we call "the farm" near Oscaloosa.
Yep I’ve been there four or five times with CVJO but somehow I never made it to miobi until this weekend
looks like a good day
I always enjoy your videos bro , right on
Thanks!
Cool stuff Dan. Your editing and what not is pretty darn cool. You make it interesting even if your not really into this stuff.
Thanks dude! I actually rushed the edit on this one because we just filmed it Saturday. It took a long time to learn how to edit
Thanks for video Libby
She says thanks!
see this is what its clllllll about. GOOD ON YOU DAD!
Hoping she comes with me again this weekend snow wheelin!
She did a great job for you
Thanks, she did and Ill tell her. We had more fun today keep an eye out for the next video
No problem can't wait to see it
You're daughter is good with a camera. I have never had mud on my Jeep. Ever. Squeaky brakes: Mine are just as bad. I gave up. They get impregnated with sand using them at the dunes.
Honestly I don’t like mud either I only go through the minimum amount required to get where I’m going. I used to hit some of the nastier holes but I got tired of taking two hours to clean it out of the inside of the jeep
It’s pretty much isolated to the right rear brake I need to take it apart and see if somethings lodged in there
What rear end set and tires do you going on in this video. Looking to see option for wife's yj. Tell we go full one tons one day.
The axles are from a 78 F250 it’s a high pinion 44 front and D60 rear. Tires are 37 inch Humvee surplus mtrs(crappy) on humvee double bead locks that I recentered.
@@FlawedOffroad awesome brother... thats a sweet set up, just saw u got dana 60 front. Gonna be following you bro if you ever in texas let me know. Got alot of good off road parks
Why is that pond so green? ☘️
Not sure, probably something to do with whatever minerals they used to mine there
One reason might be that there is no fresh water flow.
Open pit coal mining up until about the 60s and then the landowners grandfather bought the place I believe.
Interesting. Iowa isnt what I pictured for coal mining, thats more like where my family is from in the Appalachian mtns
I can't wait to do this with my daughter... She is 2 1/2 years old and love trucks and Jeeps. Check me out when u get a chance I'll have new content soon been on a long break but I'll be back filming again.
My daughter loved it until she was about five, then she hated it for a few years, but now she likes it again😆
