Nomads vs Cybran - M27 AI vs Sorian AI - Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
Hello everyone and welcome to my channel!
I am a big fan of Supreme Commander and I want to show you a lot of videos on this channel.
I use the FAF App to play Supreme Commander.
FAF Mods:
1) Nomads Mod - it is the mod that adds a completely new faction. The mod is a part of the FAF App, so you don't even need to specially download it. It is a good mod and I recommend it.
2) BlackOps: Unleashed, BlackOps: ACUs, BlackOps: EXUnits - these mods contain a huge number of new units. They are interesting and well-balanced, so I recommend it.
3) BrewLAN Mods - these mods add a lot of new well-balanced stuff as well, I recommend them too.
4) Wyvern Battle Pack - another interesting unit pack, I recommend it.
5) Total Mayhem Mod - the mod contains a lot of new units but some of them are almost copies of each other and this mod also causes some glitches. I use this mod from time to time, but overall I do not like it.
6) Annihilation New SupCom - this mod requires BlackOps, BrewLAN, and Total Mayhem to be enabled. But these mods without Annihilation New SupCom are much better because Annihilation New SupCom adds a lot of stupid and unbalanced stuff. I do not recommend it.
7) M28 AI - the most powerful AI right now.
8) M27 AI - it is a good AI. Not as powerful as M28 but I recommend it.
9) RNG AI - another good AI, the best one for AI vs AI battles in my opinion.
10) Uveso AI - it is not as good as other AI mods but it works well with new units.
11) Sorian AI - an old AI but not bad.
12) Resources Rich x10, Storage Rich x10, Build Rate x10 - I use these mods when I make AI vs AI battles.
I rarely play with other FAF Mods, and if these mods are not on the list then they are not good enough to even be remembered.
From time to time I use the LOUD App to play with LOUD Mod and its versions of other mods. It also has a lot of sub-mods and so-called "mutators" that may significantly affect the game. I recommend LOUD Mod, but I play with it not so often because battles in LOUD Mod are very time-consuming.

I worked on the Nomads mod way back in 2014 as a 3d modeler and texture artist. It's so funny to see how it's remained the same in some ways and changed in others.

Fun fact. The Nomads mod itself is an integral part of the FAF main custom game page. You can select it as a gamemode type when creating a custom game. Fair warning. As it's basically an entire new faction it does take a while to download and set up. But once the game starts you can manually select it when picking a faction.
A basic rundown of the nomads playstyle: lots of lightly armored fast ground units. Along with some EMP boys and heavy tanks. The missile launchers are also quite fun to use. Their experimentals focus on transportability. And long range missile fire. As well as the capacity to produce nukes. They also have a special nuke mode. Where if you build multiple nuke launchers you can choose an option to fire from them all at once. And even in patterns.
Continued vol 2- Most of their units do low up front damage. But have very high rates of fire. So use that to your advantage with sheer DPS. Also... Transportable battleships... Need I say more? Those folks in the opposite setons clutch pond ain't seen nothing yet...

@@concordemakesvideos1070 Why did the Beamer never attack? Not against air unit OR land units. The second one seemed to fire a long-range missile barrage thing once, but besides that nothing. Where's the big BEAM that it's supposed to be named for?!
Huh that was almost unsurprisingly one-sided. Considering all mods tend to ignore the Nomad faction, you basically have a faction balanced for vanilla going up against a heavily modded faction with tons of new crazy units.

@@Supreme-Battles-2020 hey what mod do you use so they build so fast? kinda want that, not losing 30 minutes building a base so the A.I build long range artilleryand kill my commander

hey man since you are able to play with mods solo could you help me with an issue. Everytime I use legit any mod doesn't matter for what I just have a blackscreen lol
It is probably a problem with the game, not the mods. Anyway it is better to ask about technical problems on the SupCom forums
I tried to download it, but the page where it is does not let me or I don't know how to do it to be specific.
You should be able to play the nomads mod right from the custom game setup screen. Create the new game and then select Nomads instead of regular FAF (on the left) as for M27 ai or the total mayhem mod also used here. You ahve to go to the sim mods section and make sure they're selected when launching the game
please tell me how i can be observer, because in a skirmish mode i can not delete my self
