Th14 was a good place to stay and catch up, with upcoming time reductions, we'll probably have to rush to th15 for good magic item value.
You did not mention it, but in recent years a new TH level has been accompanied by the Hammer Jam event. So important to have as many builders free as possible if it comes again.

At current moment, I'm upgrading from th 13 to th14, and 4 days are left. So I'll end up upgrading my TH before the update. I had stacked the magic items to upgrade ( Scattershots both, Inferno all three, Eagle artillery, Clan castle and Laboratory) these items instantly. Please tell me what should I do ? Should i wait for the update and do the upgrades aftewards?
Yea I just hit 15 over 2 month ago I’ve got all my main stuff done troops and main defense just need hero’s and archer towers and walls and a few cannons
The problem is I am confused how can I maximize the use of hammers at th 15,I have my core defense and hero done at 14..I am not short of medals,then should I upgrade main buildings in 15 manually under hammer jam or should I upgrade them immediately?
The way I prepare is buy 99cent items like Builder Potions and Research Potions because you can have unlimited amounts of these items and the always speed up you troops and base being upgraded and cheap.

You no longer need to rush or spend ANY money maxing a base. Once you are max your base is COMPLETELY DEFENSELESS. Supercell keeps an EVERYONE WINS game balance so there is absolutely no reason to max anymore. This is not a strategy game.

guys honestly i think supercell is trolling us, it's not even a year since th15 dropped and no way th16 is already coming.Imagine frustration of those people who wanted to their account but they didn't just have enough time. It's the same as they drop 2 townhalls in a row, that's wild. I think it'll be a unique Christmas event, there you can "try" townhall or something of that nature.

My best advice to anyone trying to grow fast is keep your builders busy 247. When an upgrade finishes be ready to start something right after and always leave 1 builder free to work on walls during upgrades. So if you only have 5 builders use 4 for constant upgrading and use 1 for walls only.
If you're trying to grow fast you shouldn't leave one builder open. Stagger your upgrades as best as possible, then whenever a builder comes up if it uses gold spend all your elixir on walls. Yeah sometimes a lab upgrade will finish close to another upgrade, just don't do walls that time. You could also just farm more and lose some resources due to being filled, but if you want fast progress there is no better way.
