Part II for Howo truck 10-speed gear shifting, it is about the skills for upshifting, down shifting, fixing a missed gear.
This is the best ever. All videos I watched and the instructors taught in a confusing manner. This guy makes everything very simple and clear. I will try it tomorrow. Thank you.
I learned double clutching in school, when I started working for a trucking company we were required to learn how to float the gears. They had a problem with new drivers damaging the clutches in the past.
I can drive howo because of you lesson sir, keep up the good work
Well explained keep up the good work
This is a fantastic video!
I like your explanation very encouraging 😅❤❤❤❤
Great video.
More than clear 💙

MERCI
Do the sweet spots change from truck to truck or are they all the same?
Am interesting know how is drive howo.thank you
Are we talking about vintage / classic trucks here ? I know nothing about trucks but i can tell you that farm tractors moved to synchromesh in the 1980s. The old 'crash box ' was fine for fieldwork where you might be in the same gear all day, but totally unsuited for roadwork
❤❤❤
I got my Non-Syncro Licence today! This video is excellent! Gives me the theory better
Bro thank you! No one has explained it to me like that before
Good one
At what rmp should i shift when fully loaded so truck doesn’t lug
1500-1800 for upshifting, 1100-1300 for downshifting is what I use.
How to shift the gear in up hiil position?
Downshift as you approach
Send me a video of engaging reverse gear
That downshift kicking my butt right now in school... I'm out here in Gary indiana at 160 driving academy... almost ready to graduate but thanks for ya video
Clutch, rev, clutch, shift, left turn signal, hazards, rev, roll down the window, x3 and you got it 🤷♂️ Seriously I don’t understand why you can’t just hold the clutch to shift into gear like a car
Graduated and work for knight now bruh... lol but I figured out how to float and that saved me alot 😅...
160 is the way to go
When I try to shift. It grind. I shift on 8 to 900 rpm.
too early
Float them. Double or single clutch or float - all the same - SYNCHONIZATION is all that matters.
I tried this procedure but still missing the gear I don't know if I was nervous
When you’re shifting up, don’t try to bang it into gear. Push the shifter until you feel the gears meet, then kind of slide it in. They will mesh when they hit just the right RPM. So if it’s around 1500, keep some pressure on the stick and it should slide into gear when it’s ready. Don’t get frustrated and bang on it, it might go into gear that way but it ain’t good for the equipment. Best of luck, you’ll get the hang of it!
after driving auto boxes for 5 years started with a another company all manual gearboxes. wish you all the best it come to you mate just some patience mate you'll make it. this video had some great tips always learning. safe trucking.
praticamente la stessa tecnica per lavorare con il cambio fuller
I will never understand why double clutching is taught in trucking school. Float all day. This double clutching confuses new drivers.
The government wants us to to pass the cdl test ..I got mine in this month . Now i need a job ..I am in MD ..
I float all day to brother 🤝
There’s nothing confusing about it. I hadn’t driven a manual shift car in a decade, got in one in the UK, of all places, nary a problem double clutching. You do need to match RPM and road speed even with synchronized gears
Credit to CDL college for original video
Pero ese es el color de el
👉 🏆🥇
What clutch🤣🤣🤣
It's actually about 400 rpm
Again avoid 😮 looking at the gauge 😮😮😂😂
Hello sir
Nice inxtractor
Let me tell you some rookie. If you use if you have to use attack and the clutch to shift gears. Go find yourself another job. Use the clutch once when you first take off never use it again until you stop. If you have to use a tach quit driving.🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️. Second grade two years before you ever touch that clutch. Pitiful. It's all by ear and your foot will tell you when this shift.
This is NOT your video!! STOLEN FROM A CDL SCHOOL IN COLORADO!!
Foutez le camp , je cherche un 13 vitesse , nik mok
All manual transmissions should be eliminated
I agree this is to much and downright dangerous I’ll never look a tracker trailers the same I’ll move over and let them pass
For dummies that don't comprehend how to drive a manual, no thanks I'll keep my 18 speed.
And those who are too lazy to switch gears should stay at home. People go stupid over time.
