It not being very good would be a subjective argument of taste - but how does it not fit the series...? The lyrics are very much lifted/inspired by Vergil's role has adapted through the series history, and it's not like this genre of music (loud, dramatic, fast paced, extremely hype, a little edgy) is out of place, considering the theme songs for Dante, V, and Nero. Or the OSTs for much of the series as a whole.
@@mattrocde well first off I don’t like Dante’s theme or Vs theme in 5. Second I feel like the genre is quite different from the songs in 3 and 4. It’s doesn’t have that rhythm/ beat that’s good for the combat (I’m thinking 3s theme or Cerberus or even neros theme in 5 or 4). Lastly it is just my opinion and I know a lot of people like it. Also, the reason I said it fits Virgil is because the Song reminds me of metal gear Rising. I think it’s funny that Hitchhiker got so offended by my comment.

@@cosplayingchao in DMC 4 he was complete and total b******* If he got too low Health he would try to switch to Royal Guard and if you didn't kill him before that you literally couldn't win Because every attack you would use would get Royal released doing massive damage to you and if you didn't attack he would just beat you to death

@@themanicman8458 Well that's only an issue if you play as Vergil. As Nero, he can just use buster to get around it and Dante won't fight it in Royal guard. It's only as Vergil and Lady that it becomes an issue. My advice. Don't attack Dante in RG. Wait for him to get close and when he tries to normal release, jump back to dodge it. Or use Vergil's round trip to force Dante to royal release.

it's his design, Dan Southworth's voice and mocap, his personality and sense of honor. He's just a great great freaking character and one of the best antagonists ever. He goes through an arc in 3 and 5, and in 6 he might even become a reluctant anti hero.
I love how the song has parts that sound like Devil's never cry and Never surrender.

I can't imagine what an absolute clusterfuck Legendary Dark Knight mode must be for V players, that's 4 entities to keep track of + the enemies
Considering the AoE damage of Knightmare and the other summons, i don't think they'll struggle much. Definitely had the most issue against Tanky single target enemies than hordes as V
I like V so thanks for caring.
I imagine V is actually the one who could handle LDK best considering how much range his summons cover.

With Super V unlocked, really all you need to keep track of is V. Unlimited Nightmare and enhanced states for Griffin and Shadow for the win.
I'm so glad that Capcom listened to the fans and put the whole song in the Vergil vs Dante fight. (I mean the day of the release of the song there were a lot of videos with bury the light on that battle and a lot of people asked for it in the final game)

All these videos, just convinced me enough to play DMC for the first time, this was me some days ago, now im mission 14 DMC 3, and boy do i not regret it.
They nailed the fight against Dante perfectly. The entire fight you get the feeling that Dante is just better than you; he can flawlessly switch combat styles and weapons on the fly while Vergil has one style and three weapons. Dante is always taunting you and the fact that Vergil's concentration meter and having to build it up just shows how hard Vergil has to try just to beat his brother. *Chef's kiss. This was one of my favorite boss fights ever.

This was absolutely amazing! After watching this, three things came to mind: 1. I am in love with how this video is edited! Freakin' epic to watch. 2. There's no way this dude doesn't have the platinum. 3. Damn, I'm kinda trash at this game. Still one of my favourite games though.
I love that this song is meant to be Vergil's final call to action and a realization that he needs to trust his strength rather than blindly seek more and more power, but in the game itself that translates to "please bro get some fucking therapy."
