The Greater Caucasus - Between Europe and Asia | Full Documentary

For the first time, filmmakers explore the astonishing variety of the land bridge between Europe and Asia. The landscape of the Caucasus Mountains is staggering in its grandiosity and diversity, featuring snowy peaks up to 5,000 metres high, lush subtropical forests and deserts connecting the world’s largest inner-continental “oceans”: the Caspian and the Black Sea. In Episode 1, we take a look at the Greater Caucasus.

  • Here is to those exceptional wildlife photographers (or filmmakers ) who had to spend night & day in the Caucasus mountains showing their single-minded determination & courage in the face of some adverse circumstances. It simply exhibits us to witness & discern the unwavering dedication for their sheer professional commitment to their crafts at the level most of us could only dream of. Hence, I can't help doffing my hat to them.,,Many thanks to all concerned in the production of this outstanding nature doc.though,,,,,Thanks to them all, we could enjoy watching & appreciate it to the full at the comfort of our home.,,,From California,,,(12/26/22)

  • I've just been struck w/ utter awe for the stunning & breathtaking cinematography on this nature doc. Those photographers must have spent over 1 yr to take this ineffably beautiful picturesque landscapes, the mountain sceneries, & moreover, the dramatic life style of those animals in The Greater Caucasus. Were it not for Get. factual, I wouldn't be able to watch, admire, & appreciate this singular Caucasus nature doc. Hence, with no qualms, I'd bestow my highest kudos upon all of them who had partaken in the creation of this unrivaled & incomparable nature doc. In particular, those photographers ( or videographers ) who had spent in that wilderness of the caucasus mountains for over a year!. They all certainly deserve not just an ordinary pat but an extraordinary one on the back for a job exceptionally well done. Thoroughly grateful & gratified to the core.,,,From the sunny & warmer Southern California,,,,(12/24/22)
