What a great interview with the boys. However, knowing Rhys is Deaf, he kept up with the conversation well and had very good eye contact the entire time.

@@darcydeming8565 you can look up their actual story about it. I think it was in the People magazine of Joe and his wife talking about it when Rhys was a baby at the time.
I believe he was fitted with hearing aid or something since he was a toddler so he's able to keep up like everyone else.

Y'all, when I was a kid, I was "in love" with this man. 😅 I went to a NKOTB concert and cried and jumped over chairs and tried to rush the stage with a bunch of other girls! And he was wearing that dumb hat without a lid. 👍

I loved Country Comfort, but didn't realize that Griffin was Joey's son at the time that it was on. Wish they'd bring the show back. Love this interview with the father and his sons...great dynamic. Griffin has his father's star power and Rhys is just refreshing. Joey's family (his connection with his wife and relationship with his kids ) balances him. Love from the fans is as well and good...but the love from his family is extraordinary...it grounds him. Thanks for this interview ET👍🏽

I'd like to give some advice to teenagers, hopefully some read this. The people you know right now probably WILL NOT MATTER IN YOUR LIFE AT ALL after high school. Now if it's a true friend and you want to stay friends that's different and it takes a lot of work. The people I'm talking about the are the bullies and/or the people that are just mean to you. They will not matter in 5 years. Those kind of people peak in high school and when you go to your 10-year high school reunion you are going to pity them. As you get older you start to understand that hurt people, they hurt other people and you can never see what's going on behind closed doors. When you get older you realize what those bullies may have been going through at home, it's not an excuse it's just something that happens. The bullies and every single teenager is just as anxious and scared of all the rapid changes that are happening in your teen years as you are. Being a teenager is the best and worst time of your life. I know everything seems so permanent right now and like it will never end, trust me it gets so much better and time starts going by so much faster. The paying bills thing sucks though. Just do your best to enjoy the good moments and get through the bad moments the best way you can. Sorry for the rant. To every single person, reading this... I want you to know that you are important and you matter.

Nawwww, I remember when he was the "baby" of the group and the other guys joked about having to teach him about the "birds and the bees"- iirc this was in their concert special that aired on the Disney Channel in 1990. It's nice to see him with a great family and still doing well.
