In this video I give my first impression of the new text to video model from OpenAI, Sora. The model looks INSANE compared to other model on the market.

Imagine, now everyone just stays at home, watching endless perfectly custom made fake AI entertainment made by an algorithm, that will always keep making variables of same thing, since it will always try to fit our liking. Then what? How will we grow, learn new things, challenge old beliefs if we never again see anything that is out of our comfort zone? Then everyone will eventually be like spoiled child's, not bearing a tiny amount of discomfort or dissonant views. If the world is too uncomfortable, just go home and watch your AI content. • Crazy, I've been learning and doing 3D CGI stuff for like 19 years already so I know what I'm talking about, you know how much time and headache this AI tech would save for video film producers or creators? its insane, like if you want to for example render just a 720p res single image of a photorealistic animal with millions of hair strands then it typically takes a few good weeks to months to create it (model it, groom and stylize its hair, work on its animation rig, fix issues of all kinds and animate it) and then it also takes a lot of time to render it, so each frame just on like 720p res would take you even with a good powerful beast of a PC like 10-20 minutes or more, sometimes the 3D program can't even respond due to how heavy the scene is so it can crash or even not render at all, now using this AI tech creating such animal with seemingly millions of hair strands would be a matter of seconds to a few minutes without a single issue :) now that's like efficiency increase by like 10000% or more

So don't worry) I guess, in the near future we again will turn back to roots, and real things, made with hands, will be a treasure. I bet that we will see one day a headline like this "a movie created by a real human" and it wouldn't be a joke😅

    @user-uh6sy7fn8f@user-uh6sy7fn8f3 ай бұрын
    • To be honest, I only see a small percentage of artists who can survive dedicating themselves exclusively to theater, writing or anything related to that world. So, yeah, it's going to almost completely eliminate the need for actors, filmmakers, animators, etc. Maybe not all of them, but I'd be pretty worried if I were them. And, of course, that small space will be further reduced with each iteration of continuous AI improvement until it is reduced to 0.

  • The video begins quietly, showing the Earth from space, and slowly approaches the North Pole, where you can see huge glaciers. A gentle orchestra begins to play in the background. The scenes gradually change from the 1950s to the present day, showing how the glaciers are shrinking, the seas are rising, and green areas are turning into deserts. Characters: No specific human characters will appear, but the effect of climate change on animals will be emphasized - polar bears searching for food in the disappearing ice, migratory birds that have trouble finding a new place to live, and vegetation that struggles to survive in changing conditions. Sound: A background of nature sounds changes with the scenes: wind, flowing water, breaking ice. A background orchestra grows stronger, conveying the feelings of beauty, loss, then alarm. At the end, the music begins to relax, indicating the possibility of change and hope. Narrative and text: The video will be accompanied by text appearing on the screen in a discreet but meaningful way, showing data on the changes: the percentage of melting ice, changes in global temperatures, and the increase in extreme weather phenomena. Towards the end, the text will suggest ways of action and positive change, including the installation of clean energy sources, forest conservation, and a greener lifestyle. Key messages: Emphasizing man's impact on the environment and the importance of transitioning to sustainable operations. Presentation of the consequences of climate change on all aspects of life and nature. A call to action and personal and community change for a better future. The video I described is intended to arouse awareness, a sense of responsibility and power for positive change among the viewers. This is an important message that everyone needs to hear and understand. And what I got kzhead.info/sun/q9p_is6nbIKdemg/bejne.html what is my mistake

  • Hollywood's days are numbered! OpenAI will make everyone an artist. From now on, anyone will be able to create and launch their own movies on the market. I feel that a new type of global streaming service will emerge. I hope Netflix is paying attention and gets into the game as soon as possible. 🤯👏🏻😱

    • There gonna be an over saturation of media, and everyone is going to think they’re an amazing artist, when in reality most people have no idea how to make a genuinely good story. Sure lots of cool things people can make with experience and good ideas, but a whole lot more mediocrity.

      @gl1tchbyt391@gl1tchbyt3913 ай бұрын
    • Everyone an artist? you mean anything.. Why would an artist write a script when AI itself can write scripts? AI will eventually be able to do anything that requires human intelligence. So your Netflix and Spotify accounts will be a bunch of mood sliders or the algorithm will already know what you want to hear or watch so you won’t even have to think about it.

    • @@armangoodarzi730 the way it works… it’s not that simple. It’s using imagery from a vast cloud of data and then on top of that an interpretation of what it “might” be. It’s not a copy. It’s reference. Just like when we go to the museum with pad and pen and use the art as a reference in our work. This is a tidal wave that Connor be stopped. Don’t get me wrong. I’m on your side. This is total insanity, my mind is completely blown away. This should not be possible at all yet in 2024, this is a 10 year leap in AI video generation; unless OpenAI is using the power of an AGI to increase productivity 1000x fold.
