  • It's interesting that Fury doesn't need to load up his strikes to have KO power. I guess that's just the natural strength of such a big man. On the KO shot, Fury only slightly crouches to load before springing up with about 70-80% power; note that he's still completely balanced

    • If didn’t even land that cleanly and if still floored him. Dude is so technical that he doesn’t really look for knockouts or to finish a fight early. If it happens, it happens. But he has incredible patience and self control.

    • @@mikeholman4284 Will be a very interesting fight. I’ve been watching Usyk pretty closely for a while and his only disadvantage is size. Which could be a huge disadvantage considering the size difference. But basically everything else Tyson does, Usyk can do faster. Usyk also has a very underrated chin for any heavyweight, not just for his size. So he’s not an easy knockout even if it lands. I think there’s more ways for Tyson to win though, and that reach advantage is huge considering their fighting styles. Idk how Usyk would manage to land more punches, and he’s not going to knock Tyson out. I’d say Tyson wins by decision imo.

    • @WB changing goal posts, you compared Joshua not me, I just made a comment about fury.. Joshua stopped him cold and he didn’t get up, Joshua was a raw talent at that point and the fight was for british heavyweight title, go watch fury’s fights again when he was at that level fighting for British titles

  • It wasn't the upper cut that fell Dillian Whyte but the pushing thereafter the upper cut. Nothing phenomenal about it

  • Watch the punch at 23:39 at 25% speed. This was not an uppercut to the chin. Whyte's head doesn't snap back. It looks like a graze to the ear and not a crushing blow that would end the fight. Looks like the fix was in.... though the announcers are raving about the power of the uppercut to the chin. The chin wasn't touched and slo mo footage proves this. Watch the punch in slow mo several times. It's unmistakable. Whyte took harder punches to the head earlier in the fight and he didn't go down. Trust your eyes and not the BS hype from the announcer. • I found it a bit ironic that Whyte didn't really show up at any point in the fight with guns a blazing... risk all... type of agression but the opposite ! Yet he gets cold cocked coming in slow with an uppercut from distance !

  • Cracking uppercut, but why the push after? (a genuine question, as not really into boxing but love watching Fury)

    • @ Jamie-Evo... I'm guessing he felt the connection when Whyte's chin snapped shut and knew he was out on his feet. It was gentlemanly of him actually. He could have given Whyte a seriously bad injury by hitting him again, and some other fighters would have done just that. He probably saw his eyes roll. Watch the knockout at .25 playback speed. They might have caught a good camera angle at the right moment. It was a walk away knockout. Maybe Tyson Fury just didn't want to wait for Whyte to fall? At the 24:08 timestamp is the best camera angle of the knockout, I think. Enjoy

  • Fighters like Wilder, Whyte, Dubois, Anthony Joshua have minimum boxing skilled in comparison to USYK, Fury. They rely on wild looping “power” shots and are used to fighting smaller intimidated opponents. While Fury, Usyk actually display boxing skills, IQ, fundamentals, and moderate power.
