Cool Where'd the foam end up?
You are a genius
"Results aren't perfect" Proceeds to show an amazing, homemade, professional grade rear diffuser. This is solid work! Thanks for the tutorial and the idea!
"professional grade rear diffuser"? far from but its nice for a homemade one.
@klab3929 what it needs to be a professional grade?
@@joeltorres3202 it needs to work.
@@joeltorres3202looks good but doesn't function like a real aerodynamic diffuser.
I saw the spray foam and I was like "nah" then I saw the fiberglass and I was thinking okay, then I wondered how it was a diffuser without the fins, then you brought it all together with the plexiglass and I was convinced. This is fantastic! Super great job
😄 Thanks!
You got the perfect teaching for never judge too quickly bro
If that ain't perfect, it's living right next door to it. That came out really good man.
"Results aren't perfect, first time doing anything like this" правиш си несправедливост, изглежда страхотно!! продължавайте в същия дух, тъй като практиката прави перфектни 10/10
Right On! Used similar methods to make a custom pop top camper. Great to see other homemade builds doing the same DIY approach.
Great video - really like the tip on using expanding foam. Much faster than carving two sides of a block and lots cheaper! Thanks for the inspiration.
Glad it was helpful!
That's solid work my friend!!
That's one of the best job I have ever seen on KZhead thanks for sharing
Lots of hard work, great job! I respect the length you’ll go to keep the stock bumper cover.
That looks better than some vacuumed formed diffusers you can actually buy. top work...
Exceptional! You clearly have an eye for design and a lot of talent.
Thank you! 😊
A fine example of talent over technique. I can follow his technique, but I dont have his talent.
It looks real good to not be perfect. You put a lot of atteniton to detail on it to make it nice!!! Good work.
Thank you very much!
@@ViKO35G No problm.. Its easy to say bad comments ,but it good to give credit and thumbs up on a job welldone. Keep up the mods.
If this is your first time, imagine the results next time!!! Awesome.
Genius yet humble
I've never made body kit stuff before and have been playing around with a similar idea, having experience with fiberglass. Just seeing that someone else has done it now I'm probably gonna try lol
Same, i Will start with the plastic part of the bumper of my Fiesta mk1 1983 car, as It was plastic and metal, the plastic One are rare asf for the front, so i Will make mine 😅😅
This maybe the best thing i’ve seen in a long time
First time or not you did a fabulous job! Great work and looks amazing! 👏👏👏
Thanks so much! 😊
Wonderful job! Way to go. Keep the excellent work
Results are not perfect. Dude you killed that .that turned out absolutely amazing.
excellent job, looks professional and great quality. I'd pay for that type of work!
Definitely awesome man! I've been doing these types of things for many years now! You did great work for your first time! I'll be building a custom widebody kit very soon on my channel! Definitely some great inspiration with the plexiglass/acrylic sheets!
Yeah it's easier than making them with fiberglass 😀
I cant believe it... amazing!
Wtf man that is CRAFT on a highest level! You are f. Crazy in a positive way! Respect for patience
Great craftmanship, turned out awesome, well done
Thanks for the video brother.. well filmed and thought out!
Brilliant job!
Some real DIY, respect🔥🔥
Excellent work! Thanks for showing the whole process! You got me itching to get into some fiberglass now 😂.
fiberglass will definitely get you itching
@@jacobpavone3477 😂 tis true
Looks incredible to me ,awesome
Man, you said first time doing this. It's Awesome! !
Great work 👍🏽 By the way, you’ve inspired me to make the part I need for my aquarium light 😊
Perfect results.! How the diffuser you made bonded with the bumper without using skrews?
The polyester resin acts as a glue.
Can’t upvote this enough. Think I went into some kind of trance watching it 😁
Wow I'm just blown away amazing work
Amazing work man. Really impressive. Looks better than many expensive custom diffusers I have seen.
Wow that’s pretty clean!! your an artist !! 👍
Came out pretty good mate! Nice job! 👍🏴🇬🇧
Thanks 👍
I'm impressed. Well done!
I am impressed. Great job. Looks perfect on the car.
Thanks!
It looks perfect to me. Nice job.
Really nice finish for the cost. Awesome job will consider doing it.
You did a grate job I like the results 👌🏽
This is beyond impressive! I want to do the same thing but with carbon fibre for a mk2.5 mx-5 with quad tip exhaust
was thinking how to make splits, plexiglass amazing idea, thats what i needed
How difficult was this? I’m sure it’s a lot cheaper than buying a diffuser that looks like this, im thinking of doing this too, great work
Not that hard just time consuming, especially the sanding part. Also makes it easier if you have the right tools for the job.
@@ViKO35G ❤
@@ViKO35G what kinda foam did you use ?. I want to try that on my car too
@@pinkinwarri304 Expanding Polyurethane Foam
@@ViKO35G that's excellent work & idea!
This is awesome work my guy.
Turned out really nice!
Damn bro the drool I need a bucket... 🔥🔥🔥
Very good work. My question is how long will it last? The adhesion usually doesn't last over time do to vibration and wind.
It's not just the foam holding it, the diffuser is molded to the bumper with resin so it acts like a glue.
dude that looks amazing, great work
Thank you!
Dude this is insane 😳😍 You did an amazing job!!
Thank you!
Awesome job man. Nice style and clean work.
Appreciate it!
Nicely Done!
Thankyou so much for this idea, have a 2010 i30 sr, no body mod/ aftermarket support, going ti busy a second bumoer to give this a crack with
Nicely done! How many cans did you use?
Браво, страхотна работа! Респект!
This looks amazing!
This is exactly what I want! 😩 Omg what a masterpiece 😍
If you can have the time and patience, you can do it!
Might sound stupid I'm trying to do a similar task but keep get told that when I go to apply my resin the expanding foam melt. How do you stop the expanding from from melts or what resin should I avoid qnd what should I use thank you?
I never had issues with melting. Just do 1 or 2 layers first so it doesn't built too much heat.
Great work man! 👍
Оо ма ти българин си бил бе. Мн добър клип браво
Благодаря
Very impressive mate! 🔥
Inspirational
Looks great. Well done
Thanks!
I was going to be a prick BUT I CANNOT TAKE ANYTHING FROM THAT MAN GREAT JOB!
Pretty cool bro.. thanks
Bro Wym ? The results are PERFECT 😍 great job man
Such a nice job man! Great job❤
Did you do all this free hand? Those lines are very straight! I am thinking about doing this as well but I'm not sure I can get my lines this straight as yours.
For some yes, for other I used a laser.
1st time! looks fantastic to me!! i am gooing to try this on my 87 Fiero GT!!
That looks way better than I expected it to, ngl. Maybe it doesn't look so perfect in person but from where I'm sitting it looks professionally done
The result is pretty amazing for "the first time" oO. Don't blame you ^^
Beautiful work man!
You may have a future in body work my friend. I think you could even get that one to be perfect if you would do a little more filler and sanding.(Try flat or matte black on the interior of the diffuser) Either way great job!👏👍
Fark that turned out awesome❤
it's Look really nice!!! Well done 🔝🔝🔝
Excelente trabajo 😍😍😍, saludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽
Много добре ти се получи,евала.
Great job bro 🔥
Excellent creative work! 😎👌
Bulgaria 🇧🇬 the best tuning for everything
It came out really nice, man! Now, since you went to all the trouble using plexiglass for the Thins, you should have left them clear and drilled a little hole in from the back side and inserted an LED. Then, each one would have glowed around the edges at night time. Again, great job!
INSPIRATIF. THANKS, BRO.
This is incredible, i love the detail of the side skirt next to the defuser,im tempted on doing this myself, was the bumper very heavy after the modification? The foam is rather light but i have no idea how much weight the filler and resin add my bumper support aren't the strongest, also how many days did it take to make this?
It did add some weight but not that much. It took me around 3 weeks to make it until I figure out everything how I want it to be since I've never done this before.
@@ViKO35G Thanks for the response! It's been a while since you finished, is it still good? Notice anny problems?
@@SkyfighterZX No issues so far.
@@ViKO35G Thank you, really looking foward to try do this myself after watching this :)
For a “not perfect job”, I find it pretty awesome and look beautiful on the car.
If I used spray foam on a bumper they would have had to repaint the whole car. He had excellent control of that foam dispenser and never got one drop on his flip flops props to him impressive
How much bottles of foam did you use and also does it sell on amazon?
I can't remember, 2 or 3.
Wow that turned out very well, nice.
Thanks 👍
Respect man 👍👍
Wow! Amazing job!!🔥🔥👍👍 i missed how did you connect the plexi glass fins to the bimper when you made that? The end result looks amazing nice job.
Polyurethane glue first than polyester resin after to fill the gaps and hold it better.
Ok nice thanks , i really like what you did👍
@@kevinbryant6459 Thanks!
this is nuts. your patience and dedication to the craft here really paid off. the results are incredible! definitely beats anything you could get for the price of materials. how long did it take?
About a month but I wasn't working on it everyday.
Amazing result good for you boss
Love this. Forgive my ignorance, I see many videos making mold and countermold. Will the foam stay underneath? Hasn't this affect the difference material shrinkage? Thank you so much!
You won't have any issues with the foam. 1+ year still looks the same as when I made it.
@@ViKO35G Perfect. When I start manufacturing my diffuser, I'm going to do it like this. Thanks!
Amazing job man! It takes skills to pull off something like that. However, I'd be a little scared, how's that homemade diffuser gonna react to the heat emitted from your mufflers. I'm afraid it'll end up cracking because of the stress, hot-cold + vibrations
Fiberglass can hold up to 1000°F/550°C and is vibration resistant.
Well done Dude
Thanks!
Great Job ! And the soundtrack very nice too! Greetings 😁
Un lavoro eccellente, complimenti!
Great job!
Thanks!
