On February 24th, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine under the pretense of a “special military operation”, though it seems at this point to be a full-scale land, sea, and air invasion.
Defiant, Ukraine declares martial law and begins the defense of its territory. Meanwhile Ukraine’s allies begin extending sanctions against Russia and its citizens and institutions, with many countries (especially the USA) cutting off some or all trade with Russia.
Over the first month of the invasion, covered in this video, Russian forces pushed all the way to the outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital. But already things weren’t quite going to plan…

Not a bad video, however: 1. Poland was super enthusiastic about helping Ukraine since day 1 even without other countries' influence (unlike France and especially Germany), wish there was more of that here 2. The Ukraine-Poland border part felt not super plausible since most men can't leave the country, although women and children can But hey, it's just a cartoon with many details, some of which I found a bit more obscure than they could've been, and I still think it's good. I'd like to see more videos on important topics like this!

They take each grown (or not really grown since government of Ukrainе have changed the draft age from 18 to 16 years old, when the war have started). So it's more realistic that they're just bribed the border checkpoint.

US being angry because the EU doesn't sanction russia is such bullshit. The US did literally the same thing in irak that russia is doing in ukraine, so by their logic they should have also gotten heavy sanctions. The only difference that it's a european country, so now people care. And since the US controls the narrative, the world cares even more. US is like the popular kid that gets away with every bad thing it does, but russia is the unpopular kid, that gets shouted at when he does the exact same thing the popular kid just did.

One of my friends moved to Ukraine in 2020 from the USA, he used to live near the border and when the war started, he and his family’s town was taken over by the Russian army, he had to move to Poland, he also called me when the town was taken, it looked super scary, buildings knocked down all of the stuff.

Since the day this video was released (more or less) I have been watching this video over and over (I love it)... Great video but you did forget the polish asking germany to rearm and send weapons which helped encourage the germans to actually send weaponry and you should have added a more eager to fight polish countryball considering they wanted to send old russian military jets early on and the us told them not too and you should have covered the amount of aid and weapons sent by the british too since the UK has been just as involved maybe even more involved than the EU at first
