Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is from the pilot episode. If anyone is interested, the story sees the CIA and DOD develop an AI program that's smart enough to spot everything from dead drops to assassination plots and appoints John, the badass bum from the subway scene, as its agent to deal with petty crimes that the federal agencies see as beneath their attentions. And the intellectual part of the show, each case John and Harold, his IT support and the AI's lead programmer, are only ever given a social security number without any further context like the person the number matches to is a victim, a perpetrator, or just a likely collateral casualty, and it's upto the human characters to find and piece together the puzzle pieces of the case before it's too late. And yes, Det. Carter is played by Taraji P. Henson, and she left the show to play her lead role on Empire during the third season.

Idk, sounds like their own fault really. The amount of money these people get is just stupid. They get a whole ass second pension that's often much higher than their normal pension. Everyone with a military background that I know lives comfortably because they literally can't struggle with the amount of money they got. Not rich, but far from poor.
@matus199712 ай бұрын
@@matus19971you do realize up until about 2017 veterans received little to no benefits after their service? Like the VA was fought for VERY hard and the govt fought back against a majority of policies to HELP people that serve or served. Even moreso, the pay was astronomically worse than what it is now. BAH was basically a scratch off ticket 20 years ago. Things changed over time but anyone pre 9/11 that served during a wartime era suffered immensely when they came home. No healthcare, no jobs would accept them due to their lack of skills in career fields etc. But I digress. A simple google search woulda taught you all of this and much more and you chose a narrow minded judge mental approach. I see a lot of comments saying don’t pick fights with the homeless. You shouldn’t go around picking fights period. The person you pick a fight with hasn’t always been that person. You don’t know who they were at one point. A lot of holy people were killers at one point. Treat people how you want to be treated if you have to defend yourself by all means do it. If you look for something understand you don’t get to tell the other person when to stop. They can and will take it as far as they see fit.

It's a tv show called Person of Interest. Really good tv show. I think that's the first episode
Is it in Netflix?

Love the division cleaner pfp
"Black ops" isn't what anybody in socom would call themselves. The VA is also pretty good nowadays about making sure we don't go homeless too.
Idk, sounds like their own fault really. The amount of money these people get is just stupid. They get a whole ass second pension that's often much higher than their normal pension. Everyone with a military background that I know lives comfortably because they literally can't struggle with the amount of money they got. Not rich, but far from poor.
I could almost hear what they were saying. Please turn the music up even further
I remember watching the pilot and saying "just wait.." anyhow. The show is called Person of Interest and it's one of the best imho when it comes to the characters really fulfilling their roles. Wish they continued it
"When you find that one person who connects you to the world, you become someone different. Someone better. When that person is taken from you, what do you become then?"
Loss
When you're mourning is in mourning what are you? When the only light you ever knew just walked away, condemning you to only darkness and all that remains is the memory of such beautifully sweet love tainted with loss, what then could a man be if not lost?
Never forget that we have our self. ❤

One of the best cop/drama/action tv shows out there: Person of Interest
He learned it from surviving the NYC subways
Jim Caviezel: John Reese; Person of Interest. Pilot Episode, he was riding the train waiting to die, his past haunted him. He needed a cause to save people, not kill them. Jim Caviezel was awesome in this role, a man trying to find his humanity.

You never know what a person has been through or what demons they’re presently fighting. They are quiet and alone for a reason. Leave people alone and make it home another day.

Such a fantastic series!
I love this show. That dude is a total badass.
My most dangerous friend had an innocuous image and no presence.
So very true.. Never push someone to violence who has just been waiting for an excuse to use it. Be humble leave people alone. You never know what people are capable of or what they have been taught either by their own hands or life in general. You can always have warriors in a garden. But not gardeners on a battlefield.
You have worded this sentiment and lesson so very astutely and accurately. You've said outright what I elude to. I can spot same same from a mile away, it's in the eyes. But, most, however, absolutely cannot detect this kind of risk and see only the well-constructed brand. Very wise words you have spoken, indeed.
@@psyckchyck Thank you. I’m just voicing what I have seen over my 38 years. I know guys who are family men and devout church members that when I was growing up weren’t the type you play at all. Looking at them today you would think they wouldn’t hurt a fly. But me knowing them I know it’s sometimes a struggle for them to hold in the darkness that we have.
