I goofed on the audio levels for a few parts of this video, everyone. Sorry for the louder music and rest assured I'm using better headphones to mix my audio now!
Thourally enjoyed your easy to understand and follow examples without a lot of fluff. I Subscribed automatically from this video, I look forward to viewing more!
Great tips. An unusual background can make a photo pop... especially with waterfowl photos. Also the photo should not use too much zoom and should not appear like a "MUG SHOT" criminal.
Great tips for even those who aren’t new to photography. Slowing down and seeing more of the foreground/background can really help with the composition overall. Thanks again, keep sharing your awesome content. Cheers!! 😊😊📷
True!
Great advice & tutorial. Thanks a lot!
This is great! I made a horrible mistake 7 years ago when I got so excited to see a bird sitting on her nest and WOW she let me get really close.... and then she flew away and abandoned her eggs.... yeah never again I'm so upset that I did that. 🙄😭 DON'T SCARE AWAY THE BIRDS!!! ESPECIALLY FROM THEIR NESTS!!!
Great video 👍🙂
Great tip to me all of 3!! are you standing and waiting a birds? or moving , and how avoid a bug(mosquito, mite ...etc)
The topic of the video starts at 0:52
Hi Alan, you have produced another good video. There are times when I am so desperate for a bird photo that I will take whatever I can get. There are also times when I wait for a bird to move, so I can get a better shot. But that is normally after I have gotten a few previous photos. I have also noticed that birds in city parks are more tame than birds in the countryside. Normally the rare countryside birds in Illinois are in the countryside for a reason. They don't like people, noises, and cars. I have heard about eagles attacking people during photoshoots. It might be especially true if they have a nest nearby.
👍👍👍
Nice and beautiful video. Thanks for sharing so lovely tips & Big Like
Excellent presentation, Thanks!
I scare all the birds away, and some of my best Eagle photos are of their butts as they fly away. Great video, going to try a few of these tips soon!
Hi, do you think it is easier to precisely correct photos for example adding bokeh or sharpening using Apple Pencil with iPad than using trackpad on MacBook ? I am shooting wildlife birds photos
there's beauty in chaos too
Do you not think that the subject is too central in the frame?
Great tips! One tip for you though - Please drop the music while you are talking, it’s too distracting
Thanks for the feedback! I will be mindful of music levels in future edits 😁
Great tips...thanks I guess we cover the same ground for birds, Hanover County resident here
Hello neighbor! Thanks for watching! What kinds of summer birds are you shooting right now? (Well, when it’s not storming 😩)
Blue Bird,Carolina Chickadee and Wren,Gold finch,Nuthatch,Purple Finch,Titmouse,House Wren,Wood Thrush,Cardinal,Robin,White Throated Sparrow,Chipping Sparrow,Dove,Blue Jay,Hummingbird,Starling,Red Bellied WP,Downy WP,Hawks and an Eagle every now and then and I follow several eagle nest and Go to all eagle releases in Va that the WC of Va does
Very nice!! I'm jealous of that Wood Thrush and that Purple Finch!
@@alanyoungphoto That was just a short list! I would have had to look the others up😀
Got my Z8 today and found out it has to go back on the recall released this evening
I am very guilty of scaring the birds. I see a bird, I lift my camera, and discover the bird is gone. I would be so frustrated that the bird took off just as I was ready to take a photo. Until now it really hadn't occured to me that the bird might be gone because I spooked it with my swift camera motion.
While talking about bad backgrounds, perhaps you should think about what you have behind you when making this video? But you give good advice so thumbs up anyway.
Bad habits ... PEOPLE only pick up bad habits from youtubers Fact .
😂
Cut the loud music
Sad we need to fast forward 1 minute, before being able to hear your words 😥 Remember, it's background melody, not concert melody! It's not supposed to be as loud as you.
1 habit you need to stop right away: use music while talking. We can't hear you....! Birds moves, mascot doesn't. So those ideas are useless. You move, they fly away. Shot wasted.
I am a very lazy photographer, I ask the birds to move for a better shot .
