Top Speed Autobahn Chase! 750HP Audi RS6 vs 800HP Porsche 911 Turbo S vs 450HP BMW M2

2018 ж. 6 Шіл.

On an early morning somewhere in Germany, I drove the incredibly loud BMW M2 F87 modified by PP-Performance. In this video you can watch the car chasing an incredible fast 750HP Audi RS6 Avant C7 with Akrapovic exhaust system and a beautiful Porsche 991 Turbo S (also tuned by PP Performance). Off course the BMW M2 is the slowest of them all, but I had pretty much fun with it!
This BMW M2 F87 is equipped with a very loud decatted Fi exhaust system and tuned by PP-Performance with upgraded turbo's, racing filters, stage 2 ECU upgrade and full PP Performance carbon bodykit. Also got this M2 Coilovers KW Suspensions and OZ Ultraleggera concave wheels. This M2 is producing now a monstrous 450HP!

    • Bro, I can't agree with you enough! I rolled up on a taxi in the left lane and I high beam him 3x and he didnt move. I went around him and the left lane was totally empty..🙄😤. The difference is in the training and mentality of EU drivers. Luckily I learned to drive from a British grandfather and I'm teaching my kids the same way.

  • My life was changed on the Autobahn, May, 1974, Driving a 61 Beetle with a built 1600 in it back to post from Frankfurt. Passed at a very high rate of speed by a 74 911 S coupe. Caught him at a petrol stop about 50 kliks later. Spent time with him, going over the most incredible car I had ever seen. Got home, and went to work at a Porsche dealer. Became parts & svc mgr. for 20 years. Bought my first Porsche 356 B S90 in 75 & first 911 in 76 have owned many 911s since.

  • Those things sound awesome! I’m a huge muscle car maniac but also am very familiar with European and Japanese muscle as well. Anyway, I know what incredible engines sound like. In my town there seem to be a few too many truly badass cars that boggle the mind to see driving around routinely. 1963 Galaxie 427 dual quad side oiler, restored to “near stock” was the most dominating and beautiful sounding engine I’ve ever heard in person, except for two others, one, a hot rodded Jeep SRT 8 that sounded almost like a pro street car when the guy fired it up. It’s chop sounded almost unstreetable. Awesome. But the winner, was an Audi A7, must have been the S7, and it was far ahead of me on our 1.3 mile bridge, and I heard it first. I heard honestly what sounded like an F1 car on the Cooper River Bridge. I was seriously scoping for a V12 Aston Martin or Ferrari, maybe an F12, or a Vanquish, or an F1 car for real! About 1/4 mile ahead of me, on this four lane wide bridge, I saw an Audi A7 body changing lanes in an opening in traffic, and was passing everyone in the far left lane, appropriately. I jabbed the throttle to get closer but never did get closer, So it was like 1/4 mile away, and still sounded like an F1 car on the street, I swear it sounded like over 7500rpm, if not 8000. And loud. And as a professional audiophile, sounds stick in my head, and that one made an imprint. I’ve heard 458s revving around here, and the Maserati V12 is a very, very nice sounding beauty.

    • Contrary to what you might believe, the UK's motorways are considerably safer than Germany's, my friend; not my opinion in isolation, but also that of major international institutions with the clout and the means to know. Between them, the EU, the ETSC, the OECD, and the WHO have compared road safety data from most of the world's countries, and despite using different methodologies and datasets, they _all_ agree that Germany's overall performance is firmly in the middle of the industrialised nations, and nowhere near the top. The Autobahn's safety record is good, but consistently lags behind those of Norway, Denmark and a number of other countries - including the UK. This is surprising, because the vast majority of British drivers have never been taught how to use this type of road, since learner drivers were banned from them until 2018, and post-test training has never been mandatory. It is true that Germany has a larger population and a more extensive motorway network than any of these countries, but the research takes this into account, so population size and network length alone do not explain it. Germany has some of the best-maintained roads, vehicles, and driver training in the world. With everything stacked in their favour, you would expect German motorists to have a motorway safety record that is head and shoulders above everyone else, but the truth is that they cannot even match the standards of a country of relative amatuers! So either German drivers are not all they are cracked-up to be, or there is something intrinsically dangerous about the Autobahn that effectively cancels out the benefits of their training. There is really only one major difference between motorways in Germany and everywhere else, so suspicion has to fall on the absence of speed limits on about two-thirds of the network. Unrestricted roads create poor flow harmonisation and high differential speeds, a potentially lethal cocktail which increases the likelihood of human error and exacerbates its consequences. This is recognised by virtually every country in the world, except Germany; not only that, but implementing speed limits already has a proven track record of significantly reducing Autobahn fatalities. These points have repeatedly been raised by Deutscher Verkehrssicherheitsrat (Germany's own Road Safety Council), and repeatedly ignored by pig-headed German politicians. Some things never change.

    • @@MSM4U2POM bro ok. I live here and I can tell you most accidents here in my shithole city are because of stupidity. And the Autobahn here is such bad shape and overloaded with traffic there is almost always a speed restrictions active. The last bad accident there happened because of a traffic jam some smoothbrained goof rear ended another car. 2 reason why we are only average when it comes to road safety: 1) Abysmal Infrastructure that hasn't been upgraded since the fucking 1950s. 2) Stupid People. Literally a few days ago some drunk woman flipped her car here 😂 I can tell you with confidence the fact that certain sections of Autobahn have no speed limit isn't the issue. Its bad infrastructure design, aging infrastructure in disrepair, lacking enforcement of the law, poor drivers everywhere, lacking check ups on people's ability to drive properly, the elderly fucking shit up, drugs and alcohol, etc...

    • Nicolas A oh so in Germany the Most cars can Drive Up to round about 260 maybe 280 in Not sure So its possible that there can Drive faster but its limited like a scooter if know what i mean if you want to Drive faster you have to make an extra license and pay a Little Bit more ( for example Audi , Mercedes,bmw are Brand who have this System ) Porsche have Not that System you dont need a extra license to Drive over 300 km/h Its a Little Bit complex but i Hope you Unterstand a Little Bit what i mean

    • Nicolas A Porsche just havent this Kind of system. Audi and so on have this System because they say who Wants to Drive faster has to do their extra license. Porsche say ...who wants to Drive fast ... can Drive fast 😂 Another interesting fact: only german car Companies has this Kind of Limitation For example american cars like camaro ford gt, Challenger can Drive also to the Real Speed limit

      @silask.3658@silask.36585 жыл бұрын
    • Silas K. You don’t need any license to drive faster than 250. The virtual limit is 255 by the way, which has been an unwritten rule for german carmakers, since most tyres are limited to 240 anyway for safety purposes. However all of the german manufacturers offer an option that raises the speed limits up to 280 and 305 depending on package. Audi, BMW and Merc are primarily a street car manufacturer. Porshce on the other hand is more focused on track driving where speed limits are non-existing. You can also remove the limiter by third-party accessories for not much cost, at your own risk. Remember, at 300 you go 83 meters every single second. That means by the time you hit the brakes, you drove another 50 meters at least. And by the time you have come to a full stop, you have driven about 3-500 meters. If you were doing 100 that would only mean about 100 meters or likely less. These speeds are only for people who are more experienced, it is quite possibly a lifesaver that people who wouldn’t consider spending money on this unlimited speed option when they buy a car can’t do it once they own it.
