I love how the Crown Vics are still putting in the work. To think about it, they went into service before many of the Explorers or Chargers and are still in service long after those Explorers or Chargers retired.
Makes me feel good knowing officers still use crown vics
Probably the best car ford ever made that and the Towncar
And top of that they don't get driven nice the gas pedal stay buried and the brakes get plenty use too
2011 last year they were made I think?
I still drive an 09 in my department and like you said they put in work. The car I drive has been in the shop less than some 2017 and 2018’s
It's going to look weird without the Crown Vic's one day.
Completely agree
It might just be my area but I already rarely see crown Vic’s nowadays. Just mostly Explorers and Taurus’
@@officialdrowsy I know I mostly see explorers rarely a vic
@@minibinwaredisposaldude5641 I like ford police utilities better because they blend in with civilian Explorers police have led headlights just like civilian Explorers but except police utilities don’t have daytime running lights only the Ford Explorer civilian models have the daytime running lights feature.
The sheriff dept in my county doesn’t have no vics anymore just tahoes and explorers
So happy to see those slicktop Crown Vics still in service! I remember when a slicktop LAPD unit usually meant CRASH or D Platoon
They are called GED now
@@hotsaucebone I guess that's the more politically correct LAPD lol
@@DCYote1 yeah, they’re either GND/GED or Marked Metro units. I love the LAPD slicktops
The slicktop as you're referring to are actually referred to as "hybrids" because they have all the markings and as we know the lights are in the cab area. Slicktop still works. As for this call out, taking fireworks should not have turned into a multi-division code 3 response. I know this agency intimately. 40 years. But that's generally the way it goes. There's likely more to the picture here than I'm on to. Usually it comes out as Code 4 Adam which No Further Assistance Needed at Scene, Suspect Still In Vicinity. The Sergeant or the Watch Commander at the station would normally tell all units not at the scene to disregard and return to their areas. We see how well that works. It's like a pursuit that's only supposed to have three units in it. The primary and secondary and a sergeant. But trailing them a block away is another 27 units. The pursuit would terminate and all those units would suddenly pounce. LOL. We always did overkill. 🤣
Code 6 Charles
That Crown Vic might be older than the officer driving it 0:37
Fancy seeing you in these comments for these kinds of videos. You’re in to response videos as well?
Yeah haha
CHOCLATE RAIIIIIN
1:19 is the oldest at the back of a charger getting Code 1 on his/her Omega 90 Siren
The chocolate rain guy is watching these videos. Thats amazing
3:19 "the police are coming!" as if the random people didn't hear the 20+ cars go by
Sounded like Methany screaming.
Lovely catch with the CVPI Slicktop with the good ol' Coplite LAPD halogen lights & Omega 90 siren.
@thevehicleenthusiast I actually did an audio-only clip of the Omega 90 siren recently.
Great catches ! Loved the old Vic with the unitrol as well as the unmarked charger. Super awesome units. Interesting how that one charger momentarily had solely a steady burn blue at 1:02
Yup. The red was burnt out
@@90210FireBuff gotcha
The red module is dead on the other side.
Kinda cool. If it's burnt out you don't have to yield.
@@Mike25654 hehehehehehehehehehe
You know it's serious when you see slicktop CVPIs and UC chargers. I've never heard LAPD use the manual till so that was pretty cool thanks man.
Great video! Love the Crown Vics responding Code 3, happy to see they are still in service. Defend The Police.
@tvercetti1 lol shut up
for a second i read that as "defund the police" 😂
The Crown Vic. The best police car ever!!
Man seeing all those vics is really a glorious sight
“pO lEEce is comin’ pO lEEce is comin’ “ Just in case someone didn’t hear the sirens
Sarcasm I think....
Yeah, I heard that. The best part of the video, lol. LAPD: (Officers running around the corner). Local resident: "They're coming. The po-lice is coming."
Im creaming my pants with all those legendary LAPD vics!! I had to double check time stamp and make sure this wasn't a old video from 2012 🤣😅😎🤘
Huge mistake shooting or throwing fireworks at LAPD. This video is case and point, "officer needs help" means the cavalry is coming and you're fucked.
agreed
That was awesome to watch! Thanks for posting!
Great catch, love those old Crown Vic's, I remember when a slick top represented the " CRASH" units( back before everything went PC), ah fond memories, thanks for the video!!👍🇺🇲
CRASH became corrupt that’s why they disbanded them not because of PC
@@MrMarkcalland PC helped but yes both "CRASH & SIS" had some corruption!
CRASH disbanded in 2000 because of the rampart scandal that was wayyy before PC lol
Of course the local wildlife is screaming “the poe-lice is comin”
Nothing better than old school crown vics!! Awesome catches! 😄😄
Nothing better than the old school Crown Vic! BACK THE BLUE!!!! 💙💙💙
Yeah!
Yes!! Even that siren. From touchmaster

All of those crown Vic’s in one video 😍 Judging by the exempt plates a few of those Crown Vics are older than 2005. Great catch 👍🏻
What? All police cars have exempt plates. It's not an antique thing.
@@gregbach9581 in California you can tell how old a police vehicle is by the exempt plate numbers
@@gregbach9581 Idiot
@@jtf-joshtfitnessandlifesty3470 How so?
@@disneyfan9099 for example if the first 2 digits on the exempt plate are 12, the state exempt vehicle is 2003-2007, 13 is 2008-2012, 14 is 2013-2016, 15 is 2017-2020, and starting with 16 is 2021 and newer
Damn i was hoping that crown vic with the mx7000 would of flipped on the lights
Unfortunately didn't happen
I got so excited when I saw that but he never turned the lights on. So disappointing.
Ikr I was like LET ME SEE
Looks like the movie (very serious incident!!!!) I am an ex Ambulance Emergency driver, your training kicks in and it is all above saving lives with the rest of the team.
Wow I almost cried when I saw crown Vics I love them and I will buy one of crown vic when I grow up. Love you my dude❤️ great video.
I need to visit LA before those Vics are out of service. Good lord they're beautiful cars
LAPD has lots of them
Nice to see Vic's still in service!
I think the crown vics should be used as kind of training cars. Yknow when new officers are coming in they are in trained in crown vics instead of the expensive new cars but either way, I am proud to say that I am extremely happy the crown vics are still serving the Citizens of Las Angeles and Las Angeles county in perfect condition for this day and age.
Hell no! Give them to the veteran officers who know how to drive, so the rookies don’t crash them. I’m sure the veterans would like the Crown Vics too, since that’s what they’re used to
@@amf5171 Facts
Two things first JESUS the amount of units that flooded that area in a short amount of time is remarkable Second the PO-LICE IS COMIN!🤣😂🤣
1:19 The sneak peak Code 1 of a Omega 90 Crown Vic of the 2 decades of service just like they did on 2001-2002 Chevy Impala Units ❤️
awesome filming! units used manual like NYPD minus rumbler at 3:31 lol
Actually, funny enough - although there are slight differences, NYPD and LAPD use different versions of the smart siren.
@@ChandlerRFink No, they both use the FedSig SS2000SM. The NYPD just use the Rumbler siren with it. It's their way of showing their upper dominance, lol.
Nice to see LAPD still running CVPIs, another PD that still has many CVPIs in service is Indianapolis.
Glad to hear that!
Man, looking this response for help bringing all those officers makes me wonder...how did I work day shift by myself all those years? We finally got a union contract and all of a sudden...I was working with 8 guys on my shift. Thank God I never ended on my back needing help.
Was so good to see the old crown Vic with old style light bar, to bad was not in operation. I'm from Adelaide Australia and love seeing LAPD black & whites
Those crown Vic’s with the older style halogen lights hits hard.
Phenomenal video! Always and still till this day my favorite CV with a solid 🔴 in front windshield, along with single 🔵🟡 in the rear. Reminds me of the late 80s & 90s. 💙🖤💙🖤
That crown Vic with the single red was extremely cool
Just like in the origional dirty harry movies!!!!
Wow, just north of where I used to work for McCormick Ambulance in unincorporated Willowbrook (Station 2 at Avalon and 120th). Surprised that close there weren't any Sheriff's responding to an "Officer Needs Help" call as well since their patrol area is only a few blocks away
Amazing, love to the LAPD!
why would someone be throwing 🎆 at officers?
Great to see the crown vic still in action.
Respect to cops just doing their jobs
Great catch man . Nothing like a slick top crown Vic running code with the red steady burn light . Glad LAPD still keeping them in service. Back the badge.🇺🇲
2 best cars in Law enforcement CVPI and caprice
Amazing video! i love the look and sound of LAPD and greetings from Australia!
@WestAustralian_transport Another fellow Aussie!!!
Wow! Great catch! Amazing code 3 officer needs assistance response.
Haven’t seen so many CVPI hauling to a call music to the ears. U had code3 going off in all different directions Good catch
The good LAPD my favorite police force ever
Too bad they totally suck now.
Nice catch of the CHP-style steady burn lights in action on those LAPD Crown Vic units. And that old-school rotator lightbar at 1:28 is a rare sight too
Thank you for recording such amazing beauty 😍
Daamn, CVPI
Keeping those Crown Victoria 's in good shape.
Crown Vic code 3 is ominous, great vid.
What a catch, that crown vic with the halogens! Nice
Awesome seeing the old lighting on the Crown Vics!
It's not a "Help Call" Its a Panic button activation or a "EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP I'M GOING TO FUCKING DIE!" call.
It’s nice that LAPD still uses the Vics but man do I miss the Unitrol sirens
I remember when they took away the Caprice and gave us the Crown Vic, we were so mad. We warmed up to the crown vic very quickly.
Love The Ford Crown Vic Respect To Usa Police Protect And Serve LAPD
Love seeing the Calvary come!💯💯👊🏾👊🏾✌🏾
*"Los Angeles Police Department - To Protect & To Serve."*
Don't care how some people feel about cops, we appreciate them all for doing a good job. A lot of bad people out there praying on innocent law abiding people.
Holy crap that was awesome!!
So much LAPD! nice catch!
LAPD vics still killing it
The classic old school lights & sirens.
crown vic with the omega 90 never gets old
How long does it take to set up these training exercises for you to video them
LA has the best responses 🙌 down. No other agency can fuck with us.
The Ford CV was the standard for the LAPD back in my years there
Crown Vic best cop car ever
I Love USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Oof, love the one with the non-LED lightbar at 1:20 straight outta the 90s
2003 to 2005 CVPI still rolling.
3:03 wtf the crown Vic's door looks like it has bullet holes in it
Haha, it does. Looks like it has seen better days. 😆What can you expect, it's L.A. lol

Still have those crown Vic is so amazing
Only in LA police respond with crown vics with only sirens and no lights 😂 love it !!
I love crown vics they are muscles 💪🏻
nice to see that crown vics are still running
1:04 🤤 never gets old.
What exactly was that? They were going through that intersection in EVERY direction. Some were proper code 3, some weren't. Drivers couldn't figure out what yo do because the cops were so chaotic! And then the platoon of cops running down the street holding old school wooden batons? Was this for some movie or something? Nobody uses those these days!
They're metal PR-24 batons. LAPD has used them for decades.
@@thebronzetoo so you're saying LAPD is as backwards as LA City Fire?
@@jmWhyMe IDK anything about LAFD. What I do know is that the PR-24 is still a great baton, but the depts that used them in the past no longer do, because they're training intensive and most depts have gone to collapsible batons for many reasons.
The metal pr-24 hurts, not from experience. lol
Those spring batons don't do anything vs a solid pr-24 those poked into a rib or pressure point just can't be match, plus also good for smashing windows.
Excellent Responses. Was It Gunshots I Heard?
DAMN GOOD CATCHES!!!
I can’t believe they still have Crown Vics in the fleet! They must be held together with Krazy Glue!
Otherwise known as Kragle (Big reference to "The Lego Movie", lol).
Amazing video mate
"The police is coming!!!! The police is coming!!" Huh... Do you think the police is coming?
The old Crown Victoria slick top CRASH Unit flashback- cool to see.
Damn this is awesome!!
We’re those gunshots I. The background towards the end of the video?
I never understood whether sleep tops have the one light in the front and back window . What’s the liability if someone is involved in an accident in a state that they can see good lights.
amazing vid! great work
For Clarification 109th and Avalon isn't Watts. The geographical boundaries of Watts are 92nd to Imperial (North to South) Central to Alameda (West to East).
It was off 92 and Beach ,Firestone Blvd and Compton Avenue
I remember these days with the NYPD. Even after the shit settled down they still kept coming. 10-13s for us.
Half those officers were in grade school when the CVPI's came in to service.
Whoa, they still have CVPI wish mx7000? Thats so cool
1:52 i saw that grey undercover at the mall yesterday parked in the parking lot but it had the black attena on it on the trunk part
Crown vics with solid red light is awesome. Old school LAPD.
I'm surprised to see Los Angeles keeping those Crown Victoria's in service.
Any idea what happened to warrant such a huge response?
Strange for LAPD shops to not transition over to something similar to LBPD units that give off those vibrational waves when rolling code 3 for the visual impaired citizens. Lord knows some of these drivers need all the help they can get ..lol Looks like a lot of boots flooding the dept.
