We used to call the cortez bullet toe Nike's when I was in HS back in the late 80's, early 90's. They were very popular. I would say the shoes that got your ass kicked back then and still now and my number 1 that I thought was gonna be number 1 on this list is the Air Jordan's. I lived in Del Paso Heights in Sacramento, Ca until I was 12. Pumas and basketball shoes were very popular and Starter Jackets from the Bulls, Raiders and Cowboys. We used to call the cortez bullet toe Nike's when I was in HS back in the late 80's, early 90's. They were very popular. I would say the shoes that got your ass kicked back then and still now and my number 1 that I thought was gonna be number 1 on this list is the Air Jordan's. Like the Starter jacket, my HS threatened to ban them but parents complained about it so it didn't happen.
