Wdym? It launch control and launches at 2K RPM. If you try launching it any higher without a drag setup it just spins and you end up accelerating significantly slower

I didn't think there was much of a difference in the 10sp shifting from the SS to the ZL1, but there is. I'm assuming you're in track mode and the fall leaves and cool air make for your strong run.

LS/LT motors are pretty reliable dude… even by modern standards, only reason you wont see many in 200k mile ranges is cause they’ve been driven to hell as intended or just modded to hell
