the fact Henry cavill fought to have the series accurate to sapkowski works and actually kept it that way for such a long time, Cavill knew what the fans wanted.
Cavill knew what the fans wanted cause he was one himself
@@starliner2498 and now like most fans there are going the leave the show behind because the show runners themselves arwnt following the source metrial all the money was there both for him and ghe show runners but yet they dont even follow it and they deliberately hate the games and books what a joke
Yea still horrendus show
Yall are killing me with this grammar😂
the fact? show me the proof then, if it's a fact ther is proof.
Funny how in the end it was the film producers that finally killed geralt
wait what??!
@A R I remember seeing that, how can there be a different Witcher 😬😕
Yeah and it’s shitty Chris hemsworth
@@franklyjustty who knows maybe we will adjust
The writers and producers actively disliked the games and show and of course have to inject woke garbage into everything. That’s why you see black elves everywhere. Henry Cavill made the right choice to run and never look back from this. Netflix ruins everything it touches.
Lol they really thought the man who was a fan of the books and games was really gonna stay when they deviated from said books and games 💀
It was all over when they killed easel
They didn't even deviate in a good way! Sure, changing some things is very common for adaptations, but this??? This just wasn't it. They completely destroyed everything. They could have made a stunning, legendary show but nope.
@@boopdedoop3764 it's just how the industry is now they would rather make money then make good stories
@@IsThatDonnieDiddle this is what baffles me the most though; they could have made a LOT more money by just sticking close to the source material
@@boopdedoop3764 lol it's so true but the industry thinks of short-term and not the long term so in they're minds they think "How can we make the most money with the least amount of effort as quickly as possible" and thus we get super awesome hype stuff like this then once they've had they're fill they Butcher the product and move on to the next
Sad he left, perfect Geralt right there. First time having over a thousand like, that made me happy, thanks everyone 🥺🥰
Yep…. He was a big fan of the games and it helped his character. I love actors like him
@@jwoz8517 just waiting for Netflix "fk up"
@@doji2493 excuse me, could you explain more about what happened to The Witcher series and why Henry quit?
@@zhoom2498 Cavill is very passionate about the Witcher and the character. He made a great effort to get the role because he loved the character so much but could not stand by the producers decisions. The writers and producers do not like the source material and Henry got fed up with trying to be faithful so he left.
@@50cal80 the writers were also beginning to inject their disdain for the source material into the script, as well their own inside jokes into the dialogue that intentionally poked fun at how bad they were at scene continuity. Henry made the best call; I wish more actors had the passion and clout to put idiot writers and producers in their place.
"Call me Super -hu- man, cause I'm flying out of this dumpster fire."
Excellent reference
Ohhhhhh
Drop the mic bro. Drop the mic and walk off bro!!
Cavill once said he played the Witcher 3 game through _three times_
Nothing compared to the average polish witcher fan, i know someone whos played through the game over 20 times including dlc. Man is mental
As someone as busy as Cavill, 3 playthroughs of the Witcher 3 is insane.
I think I'm on my third or fourth
@@nathans45 I'm on my 12th playthrough
True men replay witcher 3 more than twice
It’s not “He’s the best/perfect person for Geralt” He IS Geralt, end of.
No xD i like cavill but man this show sucks in every way and spits on all of witchers magnificence
I totaly agree with you
Mads Mikkelsen would be better
@@tuncaarslannfedaisi5913 exactly my words! I would actually love viggo mortensen and or mads as our new protagonist. They are such wisened hatdcore looking guys
Don't get me wrong, I love Henry Cavill, but if anyone IS Geralt of Riva it has to be Doug Cockle
I love what they're doing with the music. The combination of primitive instruments and synthetic instruments makes for a wild, techno-bagpipe vibe.
Yeah the music was amazing. Too bad the plot went tits up lmao
I won't be watching this without him playing the role.
Well said peter
Exactly bro 💯💯
Same
Same
Igualmente hermano
For anyone who doesn't know why Henry Cavill left: the producers wanted to make Roach's death a JOKE and Henry, knowing how fucked up that would be protested and they told him essentially "fine then write it yourself" and he did, and he made it the sentimental moment it SHOULD be but they refused so he left.
so funny how cavill is a bigger witcher fan than 99% of witcher fans lmfao
Who the fuck kills roach “funnily” and then is surprised when someone tells them “that’s kinda fucked up dude.”
Who the hell thinks killing a horse is funny? Other than animal torturers and serial killers? Nevermind it being a horse that was a person's best friend and only companion for a huge chunk of time! Not to mention, it's a beloved and respected character in and of itself! That's like writing a scene where a person's best friend, or maybe even their own child, dies and trying to make it funny. Or like trying to make Gandalf's death scene funny, which would infuriate and sicken the lotr fans! Death isn't funny. 😡 I don't blame Henry for leaving. I'd be too nauseated and revolted to continue working with them, too!
to be fair it would be pretty funny if they made it into a joke kek
Well they are woke writers and producers. So not surprised they wanted to make a joke about a animal that is close to the main character a joke. Very disturbing people that think they are righteous while their actions show how disgusting they are. It doesn't matter that it's a pet, it's still considered family. That's like making fun of of your best friend right as he's bleeding out in your arms. There's no way you can make that funny it's so stupid. Anyone that can make fun of that something's wrong with them mentally.
It's sad to see this die early. No way am I watching any other episode without cavil
yeah. Me neither
Eh, I couldn't get past the first season. The only good casting was for geralt and jaskier.
You do not alone! 😊
@@maxisgod4357 Yennefer was horrid though, no where close. piss poor acting.
Look at that face and determination for the role ,and your gonna get a baby face thors brother come on
Wait they’re replacing Henry with little hemsworth? Are you kidding me 🤦🏻♀️ welp the show is screwed. Henry is the only person I can see in this role now he bodied this role
He's not quite baby faced and he's not that much younger than most of the actors in the show, let alone Cavil.
That moment you realise we’re never getting anything this incredible related to The Witcher ever again
"I haven't met a better *man* than You" -Jaskier, Polish Witcher
"You made my hatred for the species subside for a moment" -Iorveth
@@tjbd262 "Iorweth! Zwykły skurwysyn!" - Vernon Roche
Love how they're trying to throw him under the bus now that they're getting backlash
this moment from the book is completely different than in shietflix. My god i cannot imagine what Henry needed to go through because of showrunners
For real. And he tried so hard to stand for us fans, as a fan. It's a shame the producers had to ruin it all.
How did it go in the book?
@@blank4142 jaskier was shitting himself but trying to be brave. He was panicking because elven king wanted to kill Geralt by shooting arrows into him. Geralt was talking with elven king pretty long time and it was very interesting talk. It was much more interesting than whole Netflix the Witcher series. In Netflix Geralt is very polite. In the book he is much more angry.
This is kind of interesting because we all kind of know that geralt could probably easily break his restraint and snap the elves neck in the time it takes him to blank
according to the books no he couldnt. he really thought he was about to die
@@ztheo2280 really I mean this is a guy who regularly kills things that would probably turn these two elves into f****** snacks
@Hannyabal isn't he the same guy that took out like a dozen armed soldiers with a broken leg
@Hannyabal I mean it seems like a monster hunter would be able to take out too angry hobo elves with relative ease
@Hannyabal I mean I'm being sarcastic here but he has f****** legs and besides surely has a hidden knife or dagger somewhere.. I mean for f*** sake if he can swing a sword with enough strength to cut something's head off he should be able to break a few pieces of rope
Idk why but this particular background music is my absolute favorite part of this series. It just literally sounds like battle ❤ The music is really beautifully composed whoever did it for the show
The amount of respect & dedication to the source material is what I admire in an actor. Henry Cavill saved this series
There are a few different witchers in the video game and books but for me Henry will forever be geralt , if liam tries doin the growls thing Henry does he might sound like an asthmatic puppy
I love the Witcher and I never get tired of watching it. So well done to Henry Cavill and the other cast😁
Henry Cavill is just the best Actor for the Witcher role. Nobody can replace him. He is the face of Gerald of Rivia. The Witcher forever with..... Henry Cavill 💙💎🙏
It's so sad that Henry is leaving 😭
"If you're not a human, then what are you?" "I'm a Superman."
I'm going to miss him on the show
Sad he never be the witcher again
Huh
Atleast there is one more season
@@sibi51811 he's leaving s4 because the writers room don't care for canon and would like to change it. #EraOfPandering
@@livestreamgaming420 it’s apparently because the current actor (forgot his name) is busy with other movies and shows I don’t understand why they couldn’t just wait till his schedule is free again he plays it so well
We still have time to fix it. We need to petition netflix
Cmonnn! How they going to replace this with Liam hemsworth😑😑 Glad there is a petition going 🙏 🙌
This scene gave me goosebumps the first time
He's still technically kinda human. Just mutated heavily by Witcher potions and all that. So human, yes, normal human, absolutely not😂I think those potions just outright kill regular people don't they? Edit: Thank you to all the people who explained things in the comments nicely without a snobby attitude. I appreciate that fr.
The point both Geralt and the creature are trying to make is not exactly how human he is or isn't, more about how he isn't treated like one. He is outcasted, feared and hated by most people, only up and until they need him. He is treated like a monster, or at least not like humans. Think of it like Mutants from Marvel Comics, they are mutated humans but some people straight up are inhumane towards them.
@@domaldo2261 Yeah makes sense, I just found his lore really interesting. But yeah, he gets treated like an outcast and therefore doesn't want to be counted among regular humans, makes sense. I don't like other humans either😂
What's the diffrence between that and a person being cursed to look like a hedgehog and his descendents 10 generations being born that way
@@unyielding.entertainment witchers have a foot in both worlds and will never be welcome in either. To humans they are monsters and to non-human they are humans. Non-human are used to being hunted by humans which is where that association comes from. For humans witchers are wild, some would probably doubt that they ever were human in the first place
@@unyielding.entertainment yes all of The Witcher trial potions are exceptionally toxic to humans that's why they use children for training because their bodies are more easily able to cope with the rapid mutations but like 99% of them still die I think in The Witcher 3 when you're at k h a r e Morin and Witcher sitting with his other two friends from the wolf School I'm pretty sure those three were the only kids that made it out of a thing of like 15 or 20
Cavill is the biggest gigachad for carrying an entire series.
I can't imagine anyone else as the Witcher. loves this character and gave him everything.
Liam is going to do this ? Like hell he is !
Nah Liam will do fine, but no one will ever replace Henry, Cavill.
Love the music in this scene. "The Great Cleansing". Season 1 was so good.
Fear a man that dont fear dead
Always happy to see henry in my feed
I don't think I'll enjoy witcher as much as i have till now with Henry being witcher ❤️
When he is more human than most of them
I wish Henry would stay for more seasons, maybe he could do what Ryan Reynolds did with Deadpool? 1. Get perfectly casted with bad writers. 2. Show why you’re the perfect casting. 3. Make you’re own series with you as the main character. Anyone else want this? :)
It’s not just bad writers. A former writer has revealed that some of the senior writers actively despised the books! How can you adapt a book if you don’t like it in the first place? The writers should have been honest with the direction (and Henry, who’s a fan of the Witcher) and fire themselves.
@@misterboom92 that's the worst part! Why work on something you hate and try to tell the FANS that you know better?? I heard the straw that broke Cavills back was they tried to make Roach's death a bloody JOKE! When he protested they told him to write it himself and when he did they refused it. I'm not watching another second without him.
I'm sorry, 😂, heralt looks like a cat when he's looking at them, "dot call me a human, my name is sir furalt of rivia"
Geralt : if you must kill me. i am ready Netlfix : ok bring in Liam.
I miss this series and Mr Cavill was fabulous ❤❤
1 thing I remember from watching the series was being super excited whenever Geralt was on screen. No discredit to the other actors (They worked well with the script they were given), but it was because Henry understood Geralt. And it showed in every way on screen.
I love the background music if this scene.
"Cause im partly snowman" 💀
Season 1 was so promising
Without Him there is no WITCHER
! 3aq3a
Yeah.
Sums up what the writer's did pretty much. Shame.
What is that music... I like it
GOAT F**ing Superman GOATED F**ing Geralt Cavill is best of both worlds ❤❤❤❤
Never judge a book by its cover and never judge a person in the same way ❤
See that’s what a great actor Do you bring a character to life
Shame that the filmmakers hated the source material and were more interested in raceswapping and wahmen than storytelling.
You speak the truth, god i hate them woke stupid fxxk They have to ruin almost everything
Love that music!
What is it?
@@reap8eater479 It’s from the Witcher soundtrack album. It’s called The Great Cleansing by Sonya Belousova.
Elves: humans… disgusting! Geralt: I know right
Hey Geralt💓💓💓💓
Because he passed the trial of grasses in which only 3 our of every 10 participants are able to survive!!!!! That's why he's too sensitive about it😁
This could've been such a great series if the producers would follow the plot... Imagine the Witcher 3 would be a series... just insane
HE IS THE WITCHER. Awesome 😎 Love This Character.
I thought this was a fan movie until i saw henry :D
Being called human is a large insult
God with that mask I thought this was a spoof 😂
That eye twitch at the end like bro you bullsh*ting
Remember these moments before season 4 destroys the show without henry
Hi know don't tell him he human with ear like that. Poetry
Netflix is just killing off it’s shows at this point
There was just such a magic about the first season. I wish it would have been longer. Cavill is the only Geralt. I'd even go as far to wish he would voice over the next Witcher game as Geralt.
Lol that blank stare the Witcher has sometimes does truly make me think he sure as hell is “different” lmao
The show will never be the same without him...🥲
It is true. He isn't a human. Geralt is a witcher. Humanity call he Mutan, Freak and not a human ⚔🐺
Rip to a wonderful series
So proud of you, geralt.
If they ever made a Legacy of Kain movie the blonde Elf would be the perfect actor for Kain.
They couldn't get the eyes correct.. They couldn't get the actors correct.. Only thing they did get correct was Henry Cavil. And now he has left the series means there's literally nothing left to see.
Finally reading the books. Just finished this “story” and Geralt is sharing how he met Yennefer. I’m glad I watched the show first. It helps with cementing faces to characters and I wouldn’t be upset if things are left out.
I was expecting text covering the elf's face that just said writers/producers
It's funny that producers and writers are thinking we're gonna watch the series without Henry🤣
Clear Film Neptune and I can hear the reset clock ticking.
The other guy looks pretty human too TBH
Genuinely hope Netflix keeps losing money year after year if they're going to treat their audience so poorly.
Nahh man i cant watch the witcher without this man as geralt, even if i watch it the feeling that i get is not the same as henry
Edit so clean I can see he's wearing contacts.
Superman be looking a little bit different, is this Man of Steel 2?? 😰😰😰🥵🥵🥵
The only time the actor benefits from actually loving the character is when they play as a superhero whether it be dc or marvel, anything else the producers say fuck all and ruin it completely
Can't imagine anyone else playing Geralt
I always love that bgm
No one can do Geralt like Henry
I think I remember seeing the clip of him kicking rhat sylvans ass a few months ago lmao
We are never ready to lose Covell
The Witcher is like an interdimensional being, that has a mission to stop a great evil coming to Earth
Man was the perfect geralt
See you arround, Geralt...
Hey wait a minute he got normal eyes
Ahh classic human angst
Some of the monster costumes look like they are straight up out of my School plays. The budget for this must have been so low. Most of it probably went to cast Henry Cavil...
And they thunk Liam hemsworth will have the same gravitas as caville?
The guy who don't exist in the series: yes. He's not human. He's a shimpanzee.
Damn now I want to watch
Hallo Henry in Witcher ein sehr guter Schauspieler 🌞☕️🏃♂️🏋️♀️🎭🎥🍀♥️🌹🍀🍀🍀
Loved this scene
I just want to appreciate the make up and specifically how the skin looks 'real' - for the life of me I can't remember that hornhead's name (I have read the books watched the show) but love how his entire getup looks real, even when gulping the skin around his throat moves the way it should 😂😂
Kratos and the Witcher should collab
