Steel Frame 90s Raleigh Yukon to Fast Commuter - Full Build - ASMR Retro Commuter Bike

I got this bike for £30 from Gumtree, the guy originally had it listed at £50 and at that price it would have been a steel (pun intended😉) for such a well maintained frame alone.
I loved the paint job and given how solid it was I decided to just give the frame a bit of TLC and elbow grease to save the old paint.

The Clarks V brake kit was £18 from Halfords and cables and other parts including saddle and grips are just what I had in the garage, so I think it would be fare to say this is a sub £100 build.
For as easy as everything came off this bike I managed to make things extremely difficult for myself and a keen eye may well notice an upside down pedal cage and missing caps for the cranks, I have now since fixed this.
I also managed to cut the chain too short to begin with and the SRAM grip shift with Shimano derailleur was just straight up lunacy. (springs in original shifter were destroyed)
In the end I got a 7 speed Shimano trigger shifter from an upcoming Hardrock build to make do in the meantime and it works great..
