Nice clean work
We Appreciate you. Thank you Mr SolderFix
Hi , thank you for supporting my channel , very much appreciated 👍
Cheers mate! Having used Hakko vacuum desoldering equipment for many decades you inspired me to try out the simpler fat copper single strand wire component drop out method. Yep, it works and is cheaper and slightly faster than the vacuum method. Acetone on cut up makeup removal pads with long nose pliers works for me as a board cleanup followed by q tips if necessary.
Hi , thank you for watching the video and commenting , much appreciated 👍
On my home built experimental airplane the positive wire between my battery and voltage regulator broke resulting in the regulator outputting high voltage into all the avionics. I've been making repairs to the equipment using techniques you demonstrated. So far I've repaired about $1500 in equipment with less than $20 of components! Fixed the engine monitor replacing the 8 pin voltage regulator, fixed the altimeter and air speed indicator replacing three diodes and 8 pin regulator. Fixed the intercom radio interface replacing a mosfet. Still need to check many other components for damage but hopefully if I find more damage I'll be able to fix it too! So far the only thing I could not fix was the radio. Anyhow, keep up the great work demonstrating soldering techniques!
GZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amazing to see 50k we already on 51 next step 100k :)

Hi , thank you for watching the video and commenting , much appreciated 👍
I don't do very much component soldering these days after I had to have an operation on my eye for a detached retina! However, I still do soldering on my Hornby Model Railway layout! . A good tutorial video for you to make would be, "Upgrading a DC loco to DCC" as this is a job that is always done very badly! If you run out of ideas for videos to make, there are quite a lot of soldering videos you could make on this topic, such as , "Build your own DCC controller"! Thanks for all your efforts.
வாழ்த்துக்கள்...
Very informative and easy to understand; thank you. Can you tell us about the products you use, i.e., liquid flux and solder?
I absolutely adore your videos. I have some problems with your very "British" English (I am not a native speaker in English so it's sometimes hard to understand as you pronounce words like they were zip compressed 😄). Could you please make a video on soldering temperature? I mean both for soldering iron and for hot air (air flow as well here), how to get it right? All-in-all the best quality soldering tutorials I've ever seen. You could sell it as online course 😄
fabulous videos, best camera work i've seen on component videos by far !!! Did you ever land on a desolder flux that you're happy with ? reason i'm asking is i'm about to do my first eCap job on an old NAD amp and wanted to do it right the first time... thanks again for the great work you've done for the world-wide community !!!
Hi , thank you for your comment , very much appreciated . I'm glad you enjoy the videos , hopefully they can help a few people out with their soldering / desoldering issues . That's all I wanted to do when I started these videos . I will always make more when I get some spare time . Thank you again , take care 👍
If I could sub more than once I would. Thanks for all the hard work you put into making it look easy. I think your growing popularity can be easily explained by your calm manner; after watching your videos I go back to projects I had given up on because they don’t seem quite as bad once you’ve shown how to fix my screw ups.
Hi , thank you for your comment , very much appreciated. I'm glad the videos have been useful for you , that's great to hear. All I wanted to do was help a few people out , it's nice to hear that it's working . Thanks again for your support , take care 👍

Hi Joe , thank you for your support , it's very much appreciated. It's always nice to hear from people commenting on my channel , I'm just glad the videos seemed to have helped a few people out . I will keep posting when I can , sometimes I'm a bit busy . Thanks again for your time , take care 👍
Could you do a video on USB Ports please? USB C, Micro Usb, remove and add a new one.. it's one thing I find tricky
Hi i really appreciate your videos. But i struggled very hard to desolder a competent with a wire. It just didn't drop off. All the solder joints didn't melt even though i covered with and legs with solder
Hi can you please make a video about how to use a voltmeter to find Short in mb thank you
You got any tips on removing 0605 smd LEDs with an iron and not hot air because I'm a bit hesitant to do it
Hi , thank you for your question. Some LED's are made of very soft plastic and just don't take the heat caused by rework . But others can take the heat and what I do for speed and it's easier is use 2 soldering irons both with conical tips fitted. Just place one iron on each end and slide the component off. They will come off really easily . Thanks again , take care 👍
@@mrsolderfix3996 what about if I only have 1 iron ?
how can we contact you for cooperation?
Hi Mate, Are you willing to make product reviews? how can I get in touch with you plz..
Hey mate, do you have a contact mail that I could use to send you some board pictures? It's just that I have a board here which is very complicated to fix, the tracks are totally destroyed.
