💡Tired of the hustle and bustle of big cities, I gave up my high-paying job, bid farewell to the city, returned to my hometown, and walked into the beautiful jungle. I not only built my own dream home in the jungle but also used my knowledge to help my relatives and friends repair all kinds of machines for free in my spare time. I also helped many of my Chinese fans repair machines for free.

  • I can't even begin to say how impressed I am with this woman! I thought this type of love and diligence for all things mechanical was on its death bed. I'm on the cusp of retirement with more mechanics AND machinist tools than any two of my co workers... BUT, I remember way back, handful of tools - never the right ones - no manuals, no torque specs, no torque WRENCH, no lash specs (notice she guessed, but left more exh clearance like she should) a few feeler gauges, and TONS of ambition. I cleaned parts the same way, made my own gaskets too, learned how to anneal used copper head gaskets, had a neighbor who'd weld nuts on the broken bolts. And I learned, did stuff wrong every way possible on more than a couple things before I learned... Now, nothing too much intimidates me - but if I still had to work like she does, I don't think I'd have much interest. (and she's strong, I bet that engine weighs almost as much as she does) Good God she is impressive!!!!

    • My wife is from China and she came to America back in 1994 after marrying her first Husband. She did not know how to sew but she learned in Houston from a Chinese lady who was a master. When I married her in 2012 she had been working at Swat Fame in California for 8 years as a sample tailor. I moved her to SC and she went to work as a seamstress for a designer. The designer had never seen skills like my wife had before. Now after almost ten years she still only works for that one designer from our home. My wife also knows how to do carpentry and gardening and can even lay brick. Chinese Tomboys are hard to find.

Just plain acting. Nice soft hands, arms so slender. And those who are behind this, please invest a nice working gloves that will fit her hands perfectly, i see that you have a lot of views, so dont be greedy and buy her a nice set of gloves. My husband is a mechanic, I watched him many times and you cannot compare this, simple unscrewing screws is too difficult for this girl. Good job fooling everyone on youtube.

  • you do a great job with the barest minimum tools, even though I have more in my house and I am just a DIY guy. I have noticed one thing which goes against my way of work, that is many times I have noticed in most of your videos that your spanner is not vertical to the nut/bolt when opening or tightening. I think that is important as it prevents the bolt from sitting at an angle in the thread.

  • Absolutely amazing. Every mechanic I know is a parts changer. I know of no person who can fix it all. Watched you take apart, free up, clean up and reassemble this engine. Great job. What really amazes me though is the videos in which you rewinded generators....I'm smiling because that was just awesome. I haven't seen anyone do it in years and that was in an electrical shop...and now even they buy a new motor! Awesome, Awesome work. Don't worry about the negative comments some people throw in there. You are dealing with old gear, don't have all the tools in the world and you keep things running. I guarantee they wouldn't tackle the job with the tools you are using....and they wouldn't be getting it done. :)

    • Not sure where youre from but every car mechanics here in switzerland that finished his apprenticeship before 2009 learned how to repair stuff like an alternator, starter, carburator and setting them up, thats more or less basic stuff. And not wanting to take away from her great work but there is really nothing special about it, all she did was disasemble everything, clean it and put it back together. If you know how an engine works thats really not too complicated, even less so with such an antique engine where almost everything is mechanical instead of electric.

    • You don't now any real mechanics then. Why they don't have student's make their own tools from scratch with stock today is beyond me, then make them use them. I assume you are from the states as they they don't have mechanics but glorified technicians! As a blighty limey I haven't the patience for it. I blame western political nonsense like identity politics & such. let alone our ridiculous nannying with health & safety. • When you place the valve keepers (keys) on the valve stems upon assembly; when you get that done take a smaller hammer and do a medium tap on the valve stem to make sure you have everything seated and ready. Some times those keys will not be completely seated and upon first run of the motor they come popping off and that brings tears in the eyes. This can happen on low RPM motors as well as high rpm motors.
