    • @@osamaalghamdi4335 it's marketed as a really good rehydration drink for sports (they're a sponsor for Arsenal (english premier league)) and they constantly compare it to Gatorade but it honestly sucks. it has more electrolytes but it's the wrong mixture for what athletes need, they're comparison videos use different sized drinks to skew the results, it's low or sugar free but the reason Gatorade has sugar is because it's quick energy and speeds up the electrolyte effect. Because of these it's a scam. also ksi and logan are total degens (ksi used to be pretty bad I assume he still is)

  • Putting Cartman with Butters, Tweek and Clyde was a solid move in this special. Not only to give side characters the spotlight, but because they're all a different type of extreme Cred drinker: - Cartman: The 'Cred kid' who's all about showing off his Cred. If he loses his Cred, his life is over. - Butters: The sheep who's loyal to Cred, even when the curtain is removed. - Tweek: The kid who's addicted to Cred, with all its caffeine, fake sugar and chemicals. - Clyde: The based kid who sees through all the bullshit. We all like Kyle, Stan and Kenny. But they're more normal Cred drinkers and wouldn't carry the special as well.

  • Reminds me of the story of Eben Byers. Byers was this early 20th Century socialite, and amateur athlete, who drank this "miracle" tonic called "Radithor" to help his back pain and aches. Little did he know, that after drinking the stuff for many years, Byers' jaw literally fell off, and his entire body was disintegrating into nothingness. Turns out "Radithor" contained radium, which is found in radioactive water. His body was so radioactive, that his body had to be incased in a lead coffin.

    • I still remember watching the first episode the night at aired. I was raised by my grandparents and they wouldn't let my brother and I watch the Simpsons because they were super religious and thought it was evil. They didn't know about Southpark and gave us permission to watch it. Well about 3 weeks later when the whole country was up in arms about it my grandmother said we can't watch it. My grandfather stepped in and said "you already gave them permission, you can't take that back because you don't like it". Turns out my granpa really loved south park and thought it was brilliant. Been my favorite show since '97.

I really like how South Park has aged with me. It's helped to show me that all extreme opinions are rife with contradictions and are ridiculous. The morals of the show are what society needs. But not enough people will listen because of the baggage the South Park brand carries with it. Many people hear their ideology or identity was ripped on by South Park and dismiss it for the vulgar show it was back in the first few seasons. They're unaware that ALL ideologies and identities are fair game for being ripped on if they cross that line that the rest of us deem sane, but because they're in their own bubble, think they're being personally persecuted. South Park is what the world needs to show everyone to be balanced, never give credence to extreme ideas, think in nuanced ways, and to laugh at yourself. Humour disarms people and breaks down barriers better than anything else.

    • When i first heard of Prime I didnt see why people where against it and what the big deal was. I knew it wasn't a healthy drink...but that didnt face me because un-healthy drinks where not a new thing. But when i learned what the price of Prime was i understood the controversy. I don't know about the U.S but in Belgium a bottle costs € 8,99. That's very expensive.
