    • He is total class, but it's easy to be classy when you know the guy you are playing with is going to afford you the same respect. These two are the gold standard for on court and off court behaviour.

  • 9-8 in the 5th game, ref misses it, Coll calls his shot as a 'not up'. In a FINAL. We must take notice, this is what sport is about - sportsmanship. I feel the PSA should do a post on this moment - all players must not sacrifice these values/virtues for a WIN - the yongsters will learn, and the sport will grow this way also. These top players are ambassadors for our game and they must lead by example. Great sportsmanship from Farag too during the entire match, making it about the squash. Brilliant Paul, you have won a lifelong fan here today!

  • Great match by two true champs. Love how clean the squash was and how they play through minor interferences without just fishing for calls. Credit to Coll who had some tough time in recent events and it was not easy mentally being caught up at 2-2. Thanks to both for another instant classic for the fans.

I always though Coll is the guy who can stop Farag juggernaut. He did. He was also more assertive in shot selection and did not play old passive squash of the past.

  • I feel like this has been coming all week. Coll has shown real intent with his shot selection and found enough touch at the front to turn opportunities into points on the board, and it's a step back up to what we saw get him to #1. Glad he's continuing to represent simple, low-risk squash at the top level; it's great for the game to have a mix of styles imo.
