to the reactors who wanted there to be a buildup to his head voice riffs and high notes -- they would LOVE cry for love !!! same album, but quite a different emotional effectiveness. this was baekhyun truly giving everything he has in his arsenal, but cry for love has some really fascinating dynamics and phrasing choices that I think the musicians would love!!

I don't think Baekhyun came here with his runs & riff out of nowhere, as 2 reactors said , they felt , he is doing it because he can , not because of emotion , Bambi is a album which have very organized order, if you listen the album from beginning, you will get where his high notes runs and riffs are coming from , it doesn't fell sudden or emotional less.
Like raffi said the song is called "all I got" bc the vocalist is supposed to give "all [they've] got" baekhyun didn't change any of the riffs from tone's version, meaning those are tone's intentions, not baekhyun's. I think he does the song perfectly as intended.

i think baekhyun conveyed his msg pretty well. ALL I GOT is a love song yes but the main intention of the song was really to show off, to give all he's got before he left for military. that's what ALL I GOT meant to him, that was really just him showing what he was already capable of at his age and for how long he has been in the industry. it's still so sad that he just dropped bambi album, no promotions whatsoever, just "listen to my music while im away". i already watched this on patreon but AAAAAA i cannot praise this song enough: not just for baekhyun's EXEMPLARY showcase of his facets as a singer and artist, but also for all the production tidbits jason was able to point out!!! the gospel and r&b influence in the track is SO good, and it really adds to the ambience of all i got! between the organ, the gospel-like chorus and harmonies, it's all such a SOULFUL package like AAAA
