I'm really glad you properly presented the breeder, as there are a lot of semi-legal "puppy mills" around here and also some unethical "trainers" turning strong dogs into dangerous uncontrollable beasts for idiot owners who want a "killing machine" in their yard. This idiocy became something of a status symbol for various thugs, pimps and wannabe gangsters, trashing the reputation of some dog breeds like the Rottweiler, Pit-Bull, Cane Corso or Dogo Argentino.

Yes, it is now Illegal in Europe to alter dogs in any form. Any European puppies will now have full tails and ears.

@@patriciadougal919 i’ve done a lot of research on these types of breed standards for one of my classes and for some breeds, tail wagging can be excessive to where they constantly have blistered and bloody tails; making it more humane to dock the tail. now, cropping the ears is really just for the look, but thankfully there’s no long term pain except for a few days after the procedure

I've always wondered with puppies "biting" if you break them of it totally or guide them toward acceptable play biting. My 9 year old mastiff plays with me completely differently than with my daughter. They seem to understand limits from one person or dog to another.
Both of my dogs know between me, my hubs and our two daughters. I think a lot is sensed but some training. When our 8mo was just 7wks old I started limiting how hard they can bite. I didn’t allow it with my kids at all.

Congratulations! Miss Xena looks like a copy of my Dante. The little one is 4 months old, he has been at home for 1.5 months and I can already see that he is quite a little rebel 😏A lot of work ahead of us. Meanwhile, he doesn't do his business at home anymore, only outside. It's a small step, but it makes me very happy. We will grow and develop with you. It's a breed we're carefully considering... but will probably go with our THIRD Dogue de Bordeaux. They're a bit more chilled out and slightly more compact than a Cane Corso. But that 5-8 year lifespan is a heartbreaker. The Cane Corso exercise and stimulation requirement is probably a bit high for us...
Some experts said between 5-8 years, while others said 10-12 years lifespan for the Dogue de Bordeaux
@@madman1rug We've had 2... 6.5yrs each. The 5-8 figure is reported by the DDB Society of the USA. 10-12 is very rare. I've never even heard of 10+
We have a 6 month old German shepherd puppy that is named Xena, we got her when she was 8 1/2 weeks old. We have been training her but we are still having trouble with her jumping on people, wanting to nibble on you when you play with her, and leash training.

Also, i am seriously in love with guardian breeds. I have thought of becoming a breeder only because i have seen the horrible conditions my own rottie came from and hear and see the same or worse very often. I would love to start out with great Rottweiler pup but i also know training is key to a successful story. I now just seen your couses available. Just wanted to say thank you for being so awesome and your training tips (outside of your training videos) have helped a lot in our home.
I'm romanian and I'm glad I see someone,romanian, actually being promoted or advertised , especially on your channel. I'm a security dog handler in the UK and I'm working with a Czech Germann Shepherd boy , soon will get a female too and thinking to startup a breeding business but not just that, would love to be able to do training with puppies and people, kinda what you guys do. My very first thing, a year ago when had my girl, black gsd, was to do leash training with her because she was pulling like a train . Watch your video and boom 20 minutes later start doing it. In first week had no pulling at all. I adore what you do and how you do it! Respect man !❤

Hello from the UK 🇬🇧 I have a husky and a German shepherd puppy 🐾 and the GSD I adopted 3 months ago and she was underweight and petrified. She's now 10 months old and nearly 30kg!! She starts training tomorrow with a breed specific trainer and I love your channel. You've taught me so much 🙏 wish me luck 🤞

Xl bullies are pits crossed with mastiffs and sometimes pit/mastiff stock is then crossed with Neapolitan and or cane Corso. Both of which are Italian mastiffs .

It’s so nice that I’m US you can import the dogs at an earlier age to get that earlier bonding and puppy time as here in the uk it’s generally 4months from Europe I have friends family in Spain where I got my corso from he’s 3 now, and uk customs kept him extra week whilst they wanted more paper work as they changed legislation because uk was leaving EU, luckily we sorted paperwork from consulate, which was lucky as there now apparently sayin any dogs from Europe to uk have to be almost 5months which I feel is that bit long as a 5 month corso is big so amazing puppies there and more amazing you can get them that bit younger 👌

@@StopTheBoats. To each their own. I have an American Bully with un-cropped ears and love seeing them flop. I had a Boxer growing up with un-cropped ears but docked tail 😄

I flew an English Bulldog on a charter flight from LAX to Shanghai Pudong and back. LAX didn’t give us any issues. They didn’t even look at the paperwork.

I recently got a beautiful German Shepherd and she is only 8 weeks old, we have gone 4 days strictly potty training and one accident the 2nd day. But a total of 48 hours no accidents 🎊 🎉 What are some advice you could give me for her in general. We are working on socializing and potty training right now!😊
