I’ve switched over to Autotrader after being a die hard CarWow fan for years. The other channel just focuses on boring, predictable drag races. Autotrader focus on what we all want. Decent car reviews! Keep up the good work! 💪🏼

Both make good reviews, there's a bit more variety with Autotrader as they have more than one reviewer and it's generally good to get the opinions from both carwow and Autotrader. Carwow's non-review videos are garbage though. Just childish nonsense. Autotrader is a lot better in this regard
I switched from CarWow to AutoTrader because they (CarWow) went south with the LGBTQ+ stuff...
Insurance will be it's kryptonite. Even landrover can't offer insurance on its own cars 🤣🤣

Having lived in England, all car insurance there is kryptonite. What’s even worse is that it’s a legal requirement to have it which no doubt leads to the higher prices.

That seems to be a UK issue, perhaps invest more in stopping criminals in the first place. Where I live in Europe it's as expensive to insure as a Mercedes

@@tiga8032 it's definitely a UK issue. In my country, I can leave the car unlocked with the keys on the dashboard and it still wouldn't get stolen. Because we teach our children how to be good citizens rather than worrying about what gender they are. Maybe English people should try that and then they won't have so much crime? 😂
As a car enthusiasts I love and enjoy this gentleman’s presentation of motor vehicles. He can really sell anything in my view.

Install a fuel cut off system which you activate using a separate key fob....without fuel the car stays unless tow it or crane it onto a flat bed ....

This is one of the breathless review I ever enjoyed. Carwow made a review for this SV it didn’t convince me to own it. But this breathtaking review gives incentives for buying one and enjoying its spec tech. Perfect review with outstanding intro.

As an SVR owner, it's been surprisingly reliable. But I'll stick to my model, the engine is incredible, one of the most aggressive sounds from a car period. This BMW engine in the SV takes away the character
Might be reliable but I bet your insurance just went up 2000x
It's a land rover. That thing would break down while being trailered to a drag race with an Urus.

Got a lot of time for Rory Reid. He’s a very accomplished car journalist and this channel allows us to benefit from his insight and expertise. 👍
It’s limited run and overpriced, so I don’t think any of the other big players will be worried. £185k base for a Range Rover Sport with a BMW V8 and a few carbon bits is ludicrous. A base RRS starts at just over £80k 💀
U do realize that it's faster than the X5M competition. It's got 626HP and the Edition one it's got 635HP.
@@Prince-xy3km Well, the Urus beat this on Carwow but all of these cars are within a couple of tenths of each other. The Cayenne Turbo GT was way quicker and cheaper when it was in production, so there’s no excuse for the price of this tbh

The urus doesn’t have endless issues at least 😂😂💔 the urus wouldn’t develop an immediate issue on the first week of ownership. And at least you can get insurance on the urus. Even Land Rover won’t give you an insurance on this (their own car😂😂😂)

Range Rovers are proper old money symbols next to Lamborghini and Aston. I finally understand why the super rich use them rather than its rivals.
Think RR dropped the ball with the styling. The most aggressive, top model should look the part.
Insurance will be bonkers, it will break down a lot and probably depreciate like a stone. Other than that I’d definitely NOT take this after a Lambo, if I had the money to burn

Not an Urus destroyer as it lost to one when Matt Watson raced the two in a standing Quarter race. But despite sharing the same engine it’s not as quick as the X5M Competition as that beat the Urus on the standing Quarter.

Moving to a BMW engine will help its reliability a lot, but this car/SUV's fundamental problem is the Porsche Cayenne and the BMW X5 - specifically the M variant that is not the competition(I believe the current is the M60i?) Those two are way more for their respective prices; especially the BMW X5; reliable, fast, can have a trailer hitch, can tow 7700 pounds, has a better interior, and it is half the price.
The X5 is harsh and stiff

In London some insurance companies refuse to insure Range Rovers.
But why?
@asagbajoseph4889 Insurance companies lose too much money paying out on theft and repairs. Insurance companies will reject any cover which has high risk of claims being filed. Also the Police in the UK are very poor in resolving car theft cases, following austerity cuts since 2008.
