And there is a lot of female representation in a lot of the factions with an entire faction dedicated to all women. Sororitas has statistically been in the top 5 competitive armies for years. You build a Custodes army, you probably include Sisters of Silence. Some of the most powerful Aeldari and Drukhari characters are female.

Female representation has never been an issue with Warhammer 40k. We have the Adeptus Sororitas, Sisters of Silence, female Guardsman/Navy Officer's etcm Even the Aeldari and Drukhari have a large female presence, Howling Banshees are all female, The Drukhari have Females all through out their ranks, a few years ago they added a new Aeldari faction the Ynnari and their leader Yvraine is female. Oh yeah lets not forget the Adeptus Mechanicus have female Tech Priests an all. The Space Marines and the Custodes were the main all Male factions and they should've stayed that way. I'm really hoping they don't green light Female Space Marines and GW remains firm on that stance. That will be the final straw that nukes the franchise... God damnit, we all thought Warhammer 40k was safe.... But nope they had to reveal female Custodes in the dumbest and most lazy way... They should have established their lore properly, and not that lazy ass response in X. Lol

I worked for GW many years ago. I can assure you they are not playing games. Even all those years ago, they were ruthless, devious and almost cult like in their business model. The new starter training was akin to brainwashing, complete with sales tactics and scripts designed to get the kids coming into the store to pressure their parents. There was ZERO fun atmosphere, especially at the head office.
As a longtime 40k lore fan, I'd say this is a last church situation for fandom. After 40k is absorbed into woke, there will be only woke.

If you google "Angry Marines" almost every model you see is mine; almost every illustration you see on image view is a commission I paid an artist to make. Angry Marine shirts, Angry Marine Dice; I own pretty much the entire Black Library; huge fan of the Horus Heresy, and my inner 40k friends group are all the rest of the top tournament players. Not only will I not buy another model, but I won't buy another book. PS - GW Battle Bunkers were never as good as FLGSs.

Space Marine Chapters (both loyalist and traitor) - Men Sisters of Silence/Sisters of Battle - women Astra Militarum (formerly Imperial Guard) - Men, Women, PoCs (Tallarn Desert raiders, Catachan jungle fighters), regiments representing many cultures from all over modern day earth Slaanesh Daemons and Emperors Children - Trans Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeentch Daemons - genderless Orks - genderless Tyranids - genderless (sort of there are birthing bugs) Aeldari (formerly Eldar) - Men and Women T'au - Men and Women Space Wolves - Furries Dark Angels - Originally based on native american culture Dreadnoughts - Space Marine and Chaos Space Marines whose bodies are no longer functional - basically mobility assisted/badass wheelchairs I mean quite literally what is there to complain about? But therein lies the rub, this issue shows that these people who are attacking the game are not about "diversity" or "inclusion" they are more sinister and only want to destroy what already exists because they want control, and to virtue signal.

As someone who didn't know a thing about 40k, who got into it after the Henry Cavill announcement...I'm not 40-50 books deep. I LOVE the lore. I was planning on starting an army. Not now. I've read enough of their own lore to know that GW lied about Custodes. They lied and gaslit, 100%. I'll never start an army now. Probably gonna stop buying and reading the books, too.
