Khabib might not be the greatest based on number, but he is definitely the most dominant of all time
He fought cans his whole career and when he started fighting top guys they were all pure strikers...if he fought elite wrestlers then everyone would see hes not what hes portrayed...look what happened when he fought someone his size and couldnt take down in tibua he looked horrible and arguably lost lmao

First tibau was not his own size he litterally popped for peds after that fight google is free.. even Joe Rogan said he looked like a light heavyweight. Second you said fight a wrestler his own size well prime khabib fought Justin Gaethje who is a D1 wrestler in his colleges hall of fame for wrestling and got mauled. Third he did not fight mainly strikers. In fact the only 2 pure strikers he fought are barboza and Connor. Porier is a well rounded fighter black bell in BJJ and good takedown defence statistically. RDA a third degree black belt got mauled every round by Khabib. Khabib fought 7 ranked opponents in his 13 ufc fights. That's more ranked den unranked so how did he fight cans ? Shows how small minded casuals are nowadays
@@haleybourinot2765Strikers are the only ones that have a little chance with Khabib. Wrestlers literally have no chance since he's so much better than everyone. You should listen to pro fighters talk about Khabib in the gym. He was light years ahead of everyone else.

He literally outstruck Gaethje, knocked down Conor who was considered the best striker besides Anderson during that time in MMA long before Adesanya and Alex were relevant. Not to mention how he defended the punches against Dustin, and etc... Cain had a short prime but Khabib's fight IQ is much higher, which advanced him in every aspect of MMA.
@@alcottdevalte7440 i think khabib's stand up was mostly a setup for takedowns. While cain butchered people on their feet. He was always ready to go to the ground but almost had no problem standing up with anyone. The number of punches he landed is much higher than khabib's. Fight IQ overall maybe khabib was better because he avoided bad situations better,he was more elusive. Cain 14w 12 by ko khabib 28w 8 by ko
They definitely has strong similarities in there styles having trained together for years , many of same training partners and coaches etc.. for me a Healthy Cain if he didn’t have to have a number of back and knee surgery’s etc.. the man had a lot of serious injuries he would of for sure been considered the best HW of all time. He was truly special and AKA was top of the food chain MMA Gym its still top of the line or atleast top 3 mma gyms in the world.

When GSP fought for the 14th time he fought Matt Hughes, for the title, when he had a record of 41-4. When Khabib fought for the 14th time he fought a guy 0-0. They are not the same.

Cain was one of the greatest. People forget. The heavyweight division is a completely different style. More injury prone. And very hard to stay undefeated at heavyweight. So cain was higher level than khabib in his prime

Greatest lightweight - Yes by a mile, the Thibau fight was probably his toughest if you watched it. After Khabib came back from injury tho, (Horcher fight onward) he was a different animal. Jones the goat, when there's another 23yr old champ, with as many title defenses and became champ up a weightclass, I'll gladly big up that guy. Jones a dirtbag outside of pro fighting but that man is talented.

Hard to say what goat meens but yea when he was in his prime nobody even challenged him jon jones did have a few close fights but alot of that was due to lack of training I believe gsp was also very very dominante i think anderson silva was without question the best strikker weve seen in the ufc wasnt strong enough of a wrestler/grappler to be the goat inmo but id say jones #1 gsp #2 anderson#3 aldo#4 penn#5 i dont watch ufc enough nowdays to put guys like khabib henry cejudo in my list but im sure there are many deserving fighters i dont even know about that could be top 10 or so of all time
