Where Does Kim Jong-Un Get His Cash? | Inside North Korea's Bureau 39 | North Korea Documentary

2022 ж. 14 Қар.
396 373 Рет қаралды

How is it possible that North Korea, one of the poorest countries on earth finances a nuclear weapons programme large enough to challenge the USA? The answer: Bureau 39, a legendary organization nestled deep inside the government apparatus. Its aim is to procure foreign exchange by any means possible to provide Kim Jong-un’s regime with money.
Printing dollars, dealing drugs, smuggling arms, insurance fraud, human trafficking - nothing is too unscrupulous for North Korea’s money-makers.
Years of research have given us unique access to insiders. They reveal the most spectacular cases and breath-taking tricks of how North Korea has been circumventing UN sanctions to finance its nuclear arsenal for decades.
This documentary was first released in 2020. The video was reuploaded due to technical issues.

North Korea has Nukes...and China will help defend North Korea because with China having a North Korea, keeps the US and NATO off and away from Chinas border which is what China wants. It's why China funds almost 70% of North Koreas GDP.

You could live on the 30th floor or higher, and have to take the stairs every day. The elderly are not given lower floors. They must also carry their water and food up many flights, daily. The water pressure is so low, there is no water above the 14th or 15 floor in most buildings. Toilets are useless. They must save their feces anyway, to be collected and used as fertilizer. Throughout the city, no fire hydrants. No ramps or any handicapped access anywhere. Stairs everywhere. 19:58 If the worker flees, 3 generations of his family will be sent to a concentration camp, or publicly executed.

  • Trivia: I always wondered why the soldiers mostly officers wore so many medals and pins on their uniforms. It turns out that the medals and pins (awards) worn are inherited from three generations who earned them. I’m wondering if Russia (Putin) has investigated the reliability and quality of North Korean military produced equipment especially ammunition used in artillery and mortars. One report noted the failure rate was incredible from “duds” to overcharged and undercharged loadings which are dangerous to personnel and equipment. I’m sure Kim will sell as much weapons as Putin has the money for.

Until of course that maniac decides to push the button and return your purchases.

    • This is mostly correct except that last part. The reality of the North Korea Nuclear program is that it's nothing more than saber rattling intended to ensure the continuation of the regime and intended to keep the people of North Korea in line. Fact is they use their nuclear program as a propaganda boost. In the same light as they do their massive military parades. It's all a show of power for the common North Korean. At worst the entire goal of North Korea is the reunification of Korea. But under the control of the Kim family. South Korea's goals have included the reunification of Korea as well. But under their Republic. Kim isn't going to nuke his neighbors nor is he ignorant enough to think attempting to Nuke the US would end in anything short of a new North Korean Parking Lot where North Korea is now. Something that isn't commonly known to the people of North Korea and often forgotten by the US is that current dictator Kim Jong Un attended the private International School of Berne in Gümligen in Switzerland under the name "Chol-pak" or "Pak-chol" from 1993 to 1998. He was described as shy, a good student who got along well with his classmates, and was a basketball fan. He's also friends with Dennis Rodman, of the Chicago Bulls, his favorite team. So given that he was educated in a western nation and his favorite Basketball team is the Chicago Bulls. And given that he is well aware that the only reason North Korea has survived as a nation this lone is that the US and China have allowed it to exist. Give me a good reason he would nuke the country where his favorite basketball team is and one of his friends lives ? He's not a manic he's a well educated individual who is using the nation he inherited as his own piggy bank and maintaining his position by displays of power. Oh not to mention he's well aware that he is illegally getting money from the US and other western countries, and that attacking the largest Importer of Asian made goods will piss off big daddy China and get his ass removed from power with a Chinese made bullet or missile to the face. I'm just saying as much as the Chinese like to play chicken with the US . They are more about their money and were one of if not the biggest single importer of their goods. And money makes the world go round. General rule is don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Specially the end managed to really touch me and made me really feel for the horrible conditions the North Korean people are living in, slaves to a fat and spoiled little Tyrant, that the world would be much better off without. Unfortunately the regime is providing a kind of stability, that will just be replaced by chaos if 3 generations of Kim are suddenly replaced by a confusing void.

And the sanctions will not change that. And our, the USA top repeats that, over and over again. Isn't it about time we THINK of what we do, what do we achieve?

The protesters of the free lands do so only knowing their governments allow them to do so.
