Thank you so much!
This was fantastic! What a great way to start off autumn knitting inspirations ! Beautiful yarns and patterns. Good luck with your pregnancy!
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your baby. I am so happy for you!
Thank you so much!!
Your lace coverlet is a beautiful heirloom for both practical and special occasion use! When you or others make toys with eyes, be sure to make high color contrast eyes. These will be focal points that your daughter will gaze at while she's learning to move her eyes. I observed this with my own babies. Of course, when she gazes at you, that will be the best of all! Child development was my first area of study and work, and it's such a delight to see what one learns jump off the page of a book onto the behavior of a real child! 😊💕
I love you kofte colours ~ I think the softer creamy white is perfect with the orange and can’t wait to see what the colours of next one will be.
Such a wonderful podcast Inga! Yours is my favourite for sure! Thanks and be well! 🥰🥰
Oh thank you!
Love the cream socks sooo pretty and looks like they will feel amazing
They are!
your baby blanket is very beautiful, love love love it.
Thank you so much!
Always lovely to be watching you ❤ i had an audible gasp seeing that green yarn next to your face 😊
Oh thank you!
A kufte baby blanket would be rwalky lovely ❤ thank you for my weekly wool talk with you xxx
Gorgeous autumnal podcast . I have bought the top pattern on Ravelry as I had been looking for it for ages. Thank you.
Wonderful!
Always fun to sit and knit with you… Those baby bassinets were very popular in the Alpine region, we call them „Stubenwagen“ in German and they used to be standard for daytime sleeping in the living room for young babies. We were lucky to be able to use my mother-in-law‘s from the 40s; it had such dainty pastel fabric from that time so I carefully sewed forest green ribbon edgings onto it to modernise it, it looked beautiful (this was 1991!). I think people find them old-fashioned now and sell them cheaply, such a shame - but I did just see one converted to a bike trailer this last weekend 🤣👍
Loved your Claude cardigan by Colibri by Joanna. I'll to put that on my list to knit someday. 🧶For the time being on am now on my 2nd Bunadskofte for my granddaughter. Looking forwards to the fall season with it's beautiful colors.
Your enthusiasm for your baby is beautiful. 🥰. Your podcast is also always beautiful, could listen to you all day. So happy for you and your partner on the news of your daughter. ❤❤
Thank you so much!
Congratulations, doctor Inga! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Such beautiful knits
Thank you! 😊
Красивые процессы. красивая пряжа😍🌸🌺🌼🏵🌸
Congratulations on your new Little girl. I knew you were working on stuff for when and when is happening. You always make such beautiful knits. 🎉🤗 If you add blue to the yellow, purple and green it would be my husband and my favorite colors and the colors work beautifully together. 💛💜💙💚 Of course you don't have to add the blue and it'll still work great together.
Inga you are truly amazing! Love everything you knit all is beautiful! Love black jumper with yoke neck is exactly what I would like so I’m going to look at my local yarn shop! Baby blanket is beautiful and you make everything seem so easy! You look really well! Hugs & xx ❤
Thank you💕
Lovely podcast again Inga you look fab x
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your pregnancy. Exciting times ahead for you and your partner. The circular baby blanket is stunning, and a baby version of the squares blanket you are working on would be adorable, too. The yarns you received from Australia look great, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with these.😀
Thank you so much!
Your sweater looks very nice on you.
Lovely video ❣
Thank you 🤗
Hi Inga: Congrats on your traditional sweater - looks amazing. You inspired me years ago to make the Ranunculus - I now have 4 in a variety of yarns, and am making one for a friend. Also have the baby blanket on my "to knit" list. You are most inspirational. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you💕
Thank you for explaining how you do your vanilla socks! I am working up to making a pair, and I really like the folded cuff and the colors. The extra stitches on the cuff make sense so they look good instead of stretched out. Your baby knits are so sweet as well. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡
You are so welcome!
Oh my goodness congratulations!!! I had no idea you are pregnant😍😍 that baby blanket is so beautiful I can’t wait to make it for my baby one day. Once again, a beautiful podcast episode!!
Thank you so much!!
Kofte is beautiful, did you have a link for the Trackers?
Beautiful baby blanket ❤ and congratulations on your upcoming baby!❤ i am so excited for you. I am working on a baby blanket for a friend as well but yours is much more beautiful! I admire it very much.
Thank you so much💕💕💕
I knit the Magnolia Tunic from Camilla Vaad & because I felt that the fabric might not be strong enough to hold the weight of the yarn & whatever I carried in the pockets. I knit the top following the pattern, but after the sleeve separation, I tried it on & decided where the garment weight needed to be strengthened and knit the waist using double yarn, then I went back to using a single strand. I've worn it to pieces & put my very heavy phone in the pockets & the fit doesn't sag.
Hi Inga I knitted two dresses last year on 3mm needles the increases where on the sides only (you increase 2 st. on every side: M1 knit3 M1) on every second row and then on every 4th row. I would not increase every 20th stitch to be honest ... after the increases you knit just straight . Love your knittings all the best for you , happy knitting
What a treat to knit and enjoy you talking through your projects and chatting with us! I enjoyed every moment! Your Setesdal Kofte is stunning! I am excited to hear what you think of Cormo. I have made multiple shawls and pullovers with Cormo. It always reminds of the "cotton flannel" of wool - soft, comforting and a little bit fleecy-feeling. My hands love working with it!
Thank you so much! Im very excited to try it!
Inga, I am always amazed by your projects and what a beautiful knitter you are. The colorwork sweater and cardigan are stunning. You are such an inspiration to me. As mentioned in so many comments, you are glowing and what wonderful ideas for baby knits. I like your color palettes for yourself and your little girl. I have started my autumn/winter knits with the Trinigan by Andrea Mowry and some Halloween socks. I can only handle a couple projects at a time. Hope you have a nice relaxing holiday and see you next time.
Thank you💕
Ahhhh i love your channel so much. Im new to knitting, and kerp coming across the ranaculous - its do beatuful!! I will definitely be knitting yhid in the future!
Have fun making it😁💕
Hi Inga! I am so happy a 1h+ episode Your ranunculus is beautiful and you look lovely on it. Your kofta is absolutely beautiful 🩷 and with the Indian food stain does not matter Your Claude cardigan looks so comfy and cozy Matias slippers and the socks look so polished. I love how you make your socks I need to write your steps. The surgery you did for the socks is really impressive The Austin blanket is so beautiful 🩷 Hoping your cumulus dress will be a success I just love the color combo of the yarns and the green with yellow 💛 it may be a stipey or colorwork will be beautiful All th patterns you chose and the kofta is amazing 😍 I wish you a great travel and be safe
Thank you so much💕💕💕
А в какой комнате будет склад пряжи?
On the dress, if you want a true A-line continue the regularly spaced increases. If you want a straighter (but not form fitting) dress just do as planned and increase to the desired circumference then knit at that count until the hem. With fine, soft yarn either shape will be soft and flattering. The true A-line will flute at the hem due to drape and extra fullness. Two different but equally nice looks.
Intake, I did knit a dress, and it is going to not look good if you just stop increasing… it’s better to do 2, 4, or 6 triangles, or just increase distances for increases . Hope it’s helpful
I was able to pre- purchase the knitting journal! Yeah! Thank you for the information as well as all the beautiful inspiration that you so generously provide! Oh, Your mom better take those socks or I’m putting my name on them!😍😜😍 hugs, ClaudiaSJI
Where did you buy it?
The food stain comment is funny. I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant and it seem like I've become more of a messy food person as my tummy had grown. It must be a combination of eating more often, my spoon now traveling farther to get to my mouth because I have to sit so far away from the table and just general pregnancy clumsiness. Oh well. I'm glad you're not letting yourself get too upset about it. Anyway, I always love your videos, I've been watching since like the second episode. So, even though you don't know me, part of me feels like we're old friends. :) Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
Good luck to you aswell😘😘😘😘
That first gifted yarn you showed (cream, plum, black, tan) blackbird would be beautiful as a Scout shawl! It’s color work and you’d need a 5th color but a green would be beautiful
The Pirate Purls polwarth/silk base is absolutely divine! I picked up some last weekend at an Australian fibre festival. I spoke to the dyer, and she recommends Blackbeard for accessories and shawls, as polwarth is a very fine wool and will tend to pill with heavy abrasion. I think it would also be delicious for knitting very soft cuffs and collars on garments that have more rustic wools as the main body.
That is awesome! Thank you for the info! Il keep the pilling in mind
You might want to look at Gudrun Johnston's Bressay Dress pattern for its increase plan. I'm knitting it now, and its flare seems to be very nice.
Thanks for the tip!

Oh!
Dear Inga, I was so happy to see a new episode already! I always love your videos, obviously your projects are gorgeous as well, especially the Setesdal kofte
Thank you so much! Thats great!
Thank you for the inspiration! What’s the name of the last pattern you show, the cardigan from Sandnes? I can’t find it and want to see if that’s something:)
Hi Inga xx you’re looking so well xx I love all your FO’s and WIPs. The Woolly Thistle inCanada have a beautiful sampler box of non super wash yarn, and Stitches and Cream also sell British non super wash yarn based in Cornwall in the UK. Both have knitting podcasts on KZhead and you might enjoy their content. My daughter is expecting our first grandchild at the end of January 2024. We’re so excited and seeing you bloom in your pregnancy is everything! I’ve watched your podcast from the beginning and I love it xx
Thank you💕 and congratulations to your family aswell😘
I am not sure what rock I have been under but I have just discovered your podcast today. Your video was wonderful and a delight to get to know you. I look forward to watching what you create and follow on your creating adventures.
Thank you so much! Welcome😘
... so I think the Yarnroom is safe ... 💖😂
Hi Inga, Can you use a dress that fits you good for a model for your Cumulus dress? I love the felted slippers, they look so cozy. The black Renunculus looks great. You look great. Take care.
Thank you, Inga! Once again you have inspired me to continue on my knitting adventures! I will made the Claude Cardigan! I am currently designing my own garter cropped jacket. Just from some wool I once bought on clearance. But I long to follow a proven design! The one I am struggling to design myself is based on the Einstein cardigan. It had sideways garter , casting off and casting on for the arm openings. Then picking up stitches to knit the sleeves, and then sewing along the top of the sleeves and shoulders all on one go. I use a crochet hood to slip stitch that seam on the right side for a design element. I'm no designer, just making it to fit me. It's fun, but can't wait to knit the Claude!
Sounds like a very interesting design😁
Your Ranunculus looks Beautiful and fits you perfectly , thank you for sharing your method for your fit, I much prefer these tops fitting rather than oversized. Keep Well ❤
You’re welcome 😊
I KNEW IT! I said to my partner a few weeks ago that I had a sneaky feeling here, congratulations 🥰
Thank you💕
