    • There's another video on this channel that does show Komova's floor routine. She was just extremely sloppy throughout her routine. She got a 13.9. But even with that, still qualified as #1 overall. Similar to Gabby, who had an even worse floor score in the qualifications, yet still qualified #3 overall. Had both Komova and Gabby hit their floor routines in qualification, they would have totally blown away the rest of the field.

  • i really do hate the 2 per country rule. it stinks that three americans can place 1, 2, and 3 and the 3rd place recipient can’t go to all around. i say that they run all qualifications and take the top 16 or 20 to all around. that makes more sense

    @elijahmorton5129@elijahmorton51292 жыл бұрын
    • One could say the same for other sports. People complaint China won all 3 Gold, Silver and Broze at 2008 table tennis and since then they applied the 2-per-country rule too. Its not fair from the Chinese perspective but to give opportunity to the others I'd say it's fair.

  • 1) Jordan Wieber should've been in the AA being 3rd in Qualifications. 2.) Aly Raisman should've shared the Bronze in the AA Final with Mustafina. At least they got it right in RIO after 4 long years after this. The Tie breaking rule should be banned 3.) 2 per country rule because of this Qualifications alone should be done away with for the AA at least.

    • I totally agree that the 2 per country rule is extremely unfairl... for the the MOST part... but, like, you've gotta admit- it WOULD seem almost like, I dunno the right word- almost like "bullying" or just like completely unfair favoritism & sort of just "wrong" IF the Gold,Silver AND BRONZE medals ALL ENDED UP going to the same nation at the end of the actual competition, you knowwhatt I mean?! Like if they had all THREE podium spots go to Americans & had three US flags flying behind them for the medal ceremony- it probably wouldn't really go over very well with the other countries lol. I still agree it's a messed up rule for many reasons- but I kind of get it, too?!

    • Jordyn didn't hit when it count and she was edged out by her teammates. People were only outraged cause she was the reigning world champion. Jordyn was sharp but she didn't have one or two events she truly shined. Carly Patterson was weak on vault but made up with it with floor and beam. Nastia Liukin was weak on vault but made up with it on beam and bars with her execution. Jordyn's wins were small margins and in the US she was always overscored and her coaches set her up for failure by taking her small wins for granted and not upgrading her routines. NBC also hyped her up as the next best thing. In sports your friends are also your competition you are all competing for spots on the teams and for medals.

      @vanessaebony529@vanessaebony5292 жыл бұрын
    • Also not sure how much you know about gymnastics but after the 2000 Olympics when Romania swept up all the medals in the AA, the US was also one of the countries that complained about the rules. I agree with giving two bronze in the 2015 worlds they gave 4 gold medals for uneven bars and back in the day they gave 2 gold medals it wouldn't kill to give two bronze. Also in 2008 Nastia tied for bars with He Kexin of China and the gold was given to He Kexin.
