From Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition's final boss battle, featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series.
Tried to rip the a capella bit as cleanly as possible, considering most of the other ones sound like shit. Either the a capella part sounded like shit, or the rest of the song sounded like shit.
This track was composed by Casey Edwards, and produced by Adam "Nolly" Getgood. It features Anup Sastry on drums, and Victor Borba on vocals.

They are probably still alive, although we can expect them to leave the series in the next game in my opinion.
@@ALMarkAZ1990 They could actually come back at any time with the Yamato, I think it’s more of a voluntary exile for Vergil after killing to many ppl as Urizen and also to stop threats before they make it to Earth, also Dante doesn’t want to leave Vergil alone in hell after what happened last time. In the ending Nero was just dumb and thought they couldn’t come back, in the Japanese Dub Nero doesn’t outright say they can’t come back but he’s thinks they can come back and he’s unsure.

More like you’ll get stunlocked. Vergil does a lot more damage in far fewer attacks, however Dante’s more about damage through combos

*"All things end, Dante. Even us..."* Knowing this is most likely the last time we see these two (and if we're ever gonna see them in the future they're most likely gonna be background characters), that line hit extremely hard.
It’s a shame that this line is the substitute for “This had nothing to do with you, stand down” as Vergil at this point is supposed to be fighting Nero, not Dante a second time.

@pablogonzalez2009 Because their story has already been told and now we have a whole new bunch of characters that can continue the storyline in their place (Nero, Nico, Kyrie, Lady, Trish, Morrison...). I'm not saying we'll never see them again, but it's not like they're gonna be the main leads anymore.

Lmao saw this comment just now and u have no idea how badly u gonna lose this argument. Vergil can Dodge Royal Release just by using Rapid Slash go install DMC 4 or download cheat trainer for Dante in DMC 5 to make him use Royal Release. Just use Rapid slash when Dante switches to Royal Guard there is also two other ways to deal with Royal Guard u can trick cancel Judgement cut all day Dante cant touch vergil with his royal guard or anything else Vergil kills dante just by staying in air all day long and u can trick dodge Royal Guard counter to but that needs precision timing and harder to do. Congrats Dante Lost again just like In actually lore vergil has more wins against Dante.
I just noticed that in this Final Boss ver. there's an extra string at 0:29 in the background building up, that is so sick, and sounds dramatic af!

I think it is actually used in game on its own though. Having an A rank as Virgil causes this small "build-up" for the chorus to kick in at S rank that sounds very similar to the sound at 0:29
0:27 is my favorite part in all the versions of the song

I’m still not over the fact the whole games story is just Vergil hiring Virgil’s brother and son to beat Vergil so Vergil can become Vergil. With the fact it totally makes sense too in the story. I’m so glad capcom stopped being crapcom and are releasing gems again!

Your reward for playing through Vergil's campaign wasn't to make Dante the final boss. It was to make YOU the Final Boss.
Pay attention to the voices in this, there's three voices: Sadness can barely be heard but it's there, but a more calm voice is slightly louder.. then the loudest of all is yelling in anger and rage God, this song is the literal embodiment of Vergil

So when he loses, he grows and for once stops searching for power and instead helps humanity like his brother.
