  • Rave time: Okay, I'm a metalhead. 90% of what I listen to is several orders of magnitude more intense than this album. But I've recently started getting into more electronic music. What began with Celldweller has brought me here and I have to say...I don't actually know how to say it so that proper justice is done. This is one of the best albums I've heard this year, perhaps in the last five years. It's amazingly done, extraordinarily crafted, and I daresay a perfect example of this genre that I didn't even know existed two months ago. The vocals couldn't be a better match for the instrumental tracks, and oh mylanta, that saxophone. I hope the horn parts are real, cuz those melodies melt my soul into a puddle of bliss. I needed this album in my life. Thanks for reading, youtubers. Just had to say something.

  • This is an entire philosophy/mode of being for life. Not melancholy, but a mature grasp of reality, human nature, the trajectory of the world. A longing for deeper meaning, emotions, love. Healthy regrets about the past, yet a churning mind to find better paths, alone, with inner strength to rely on. A heart that screams for acceptance, purpose, danger, a calling. The adventure of the night awaits, as you set out into the stormy darkness, the lone wolf contemplating life and it's wonders. You're not a joiner, you're a leader, a path-finder. The antihero...or hero, of your own story. This album PERFECTLY captures that aesthetic. Well done.

  • 8:52 is a tribute to Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight", for sure. As the guys in the comments below, I was a stubborn metalhead for many years (especially during the High School), but then that "life phase" is ended up. I mean, it's natural when you're young, adolescent, identify yourself in a pack, music or ideal. When you start to became adult the point of view on everything starts opening. One of the first thing is music and what is correlated. I still like metal music, but this is really good too. Cheers to everyone!
